My father has been in Clarendon Court Care Home now for 15 months, following a major stroke and I am very happy with the care my father has. He is kept clean, fed and comfortable, which is quite difficult to do, given his disabilities. The staff are all very caring, ranging from cleaners, receptionists, carers, nurses and management. They do an amazing job for which I am extremely grateful. Having a parent in a nursing home can be a very upsetting and challenging time for all but the staff also support myself and my family which helps enormously. I would have no hesitation in recommending Clarendon Court Care Home.

The staff from the cleaner up to the manager are always extremely helpful and they make sure the residents are well cared for in all ways. It's an extremely hard job but they're always cheerful. I know when I'm not there, my husband will be well looked after and I can have some rest myself. I thank them all.

My husband is very contented at Clarendon. He seems to be happy with the staff and they continue to support him as they do everyone. The meals are lovely, something tasty and interesting every day and I see nothing but kindness and patience towards all the residents.

Clarnedon Court is purpose built, very clean and safe and has very pleasant rooms. Staff are always cheerful, activities are varied and the environment is attractive. My mother has advanced dementia so can't access the activities but she is well looked after.

My mother has been at Clarendon Court for one year now. Overall, we have been very happy with the way she has settled in and the care that she has received. Most of the staff on her floor are very good and pay attention to her needs. We would like to see more, social interaction between staff and residents but understand the limitations and workload.

My mother has severe dementia but otherwise is a healthy and pretty mobile 98 year old who has been in Clarendon since October 2017.

We have no major complaints. The staff, in general, are helpful except, at times, the numbers are stretched to give resident enough individual time. We know some of them as my mother-in-law was cared for in this home 3 years ago. Food: generally good quality and variety, regular GP visits. Staff have really tried in this hot weather to encourage drinking! Any little niggles have been sorted out quickly. Mum does not take medication so no problem there.

Mum has now been at Clarendon Court for three weeks and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the excellent level of care they provide. Mum is treated with dignity and kindness by staff who are clearly committed to the residents. There is a programme of activities published each month which caters for a variety of interests. The food looks so good, it is a temptation to stay for lunch!

Clarendon Court became 'Home' to my Dad for the year prior to his passing on April 29th 2018. He had had a very severe stroke which meant he no longer could be for in his own home. The carers at Clarendon Court were all @Angels' - he was treated with dignity throughout his stay, he was bedridden for the last five months of his life and the staff all popped in whenever they could to give him time. We as a family were always made to feel welcome. It is a lovely, caring environment which I would recommend to anyone looking for a 'happy' home for a family member.

My mother was always treated with great respect and affection. Her needs were met very efficiently and with care to ensure she was always comfortable. She enjoyed her food and care was taken to see that she was well nourished.
She very much enjoyed the entertainment provided. As a family, we were always kept well informed about mum's care.

Sadly mum passed away in January 2018 but we were comforted to know she was well looked after and genuinely cared for right to the end.

My mother was resident at Clarendon Court Care Home for 4 years and I cannot speak too highly of the level of care she received during that time. The staff were excellent in terms of the care and support they provided to all residents. The home was clean and well maintained.

Clarendon Court is spotlessly clean and well maintained.
From day one, my wife has been cared for with love and gentleness. Staff are well trained and efficient in all areas. The professional approach and affection for their residents has developed a team second to none and a shining example of what care should be.

The manager can be proud of his team.

Mum is very frail bit is well cared for, is very happy and content. She is changed regularly and always presented as smart as smart as possible considering that she is bedridden and can't do anything for herself (apart from using her drinking cup).

My 94 year old mother sadly passed away in November and had been in Clarendon Court Care Home for just over four years. Throughout her stay, she was treated with kindness, respect and excellent nursing care. In the last few weeks prior to her death I was in the home for most of the day sitting with my mother and was so aware of how wonderful the staff treated the residents in often very difficult circumstances. Praise to the manager and his staff.
