It's more difficult to give a full honest review when due to the Pandemic I have only been able to make two visits. However I have always found the carers very willing to help whenever needed, and even the domestic staff on hand to answer a query and prove very practical. This is very reassuring and
helpful, particularly when helping with residents suffering from dementia. I'm sure my friend is in good capable hands, although a very sad situation for me and her family.

Again, I feel I have to write, which I hate doing, but the gardens, what few there are, are terrible. Other homes nearby outshine them and it looks very shabby from the main road as weeds, nettles etc are growing through the fence. The council needs to strim it all down. Also, Mum's medication is not
being ordered when running out. Poor management. Needs more staff, they work hard but need guidance at times.

I have recently visited my husband under the new Covid-19 arrangements. The staff who met me were very helpful and explained the routine and helped with PPE. As it was a fine day I was able to sit outside with my husband which we both appreciated. We are very grateful for the caring and efficient way

Clarendon Court is a lovely care home with a very homely feel. It is run efficiently by dedicated staff. My mother-in-law has lived there for 3 and a half years and has been cared for with kindness and love. The home is kept clean and tidy and the meals are excellently cooked by a professional chef.
My mother-in-law's room is very spacious with lovely furniture and decor. We are normally allowed to visit at any time but not in recent circumstances. The staff have done an amazing job in extremely difficult circumstances and we applaud them.

I would recommend anyone to have there relative stay at Clarendon Court. Sadly we lost our Dad on Christmas day, but I can honestly say our Dad had the best of care while staying here. The staff are so caring and our Dad wanted for nothing. Once again thank you to all the staff both day and night shift.
Anyone needs a care home, Clarendon Court is the place to be.

My friend requested the staff not to let a certain person visit. This person was allowed entry! My friend had an infection around a tube, the dressings weren't changed daily - resulting in a trip to A&E for infection to be packed and sorted. Staff don't respond as quickly as they should, rather finish
their break first. Staff shortages and agency staffing a big problem.

Who wants to "go into a home"? Well after more than 70 years in her own home, naturally, she wasn't keen. When it became harder for her to stay there, she came to you and I'm glad she did.
If she hadn't enjoyed her last few weeks of life, it would have broken my heart. Thank you.

The staff were extremely attentive and caring towards my father as he approached end of life.
I would often visit him and he would be happily chatting to the staff who had time out to sit with him,
His room was always kept spotless and my dad really enjoyed sitting in the garden and the kitchen having
a brew. The manager and care home staff not only did an amazing job caring for my father they supported myself and my family through a stressful time.

My beloved father was taken to Clarendon Court Care Home after nearly 12 months in hospital where he had been treated well, but the time had come for the end of life care. This was a terrible time for myself and my family, I live 100 miles away and had a call from my sister to say he was being taken
to this home. I went over and from the first phone call I made to the home, I was happy that my Dad, my beautiful father, would be treated well. I scrutinised every person I met and wondered whether they would be the last person who saw my Dad alive and I can honestly say there wasn't one person who I would have been unhappy to have left him with. I can't express how wonderful everyone was. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt that the staff were genuinely concerned for all our wellbeing.
I would not hesitate to recommend this home, the fittings and outside need some attention, but actually, it is the people there who are the most important, and they were all amazing.

My husband came to Clarendon Court for palliative care, suffer from a brain tumour. The staff are caring, compassionate, efficient, friendly. They coax him to eat and drink. They keep him clean and comfortable. All the staff - from reception, manager, care staff, nurses, activities, cleaners, laundry,
kitchen - are excellent. A good team which I am happy to leave my husband with knowing he is in good hands.

My experience at this care home has been amazing. The care and dignity for my father was phenominal. The management and staff are so considerate in everything they do. This home is everything you could wish for in every aspect. I would highly recommend Clarendon Court for both management and care.l

I feel my late husband passed away in a pleasant room with caring staff available 24/7.

My father has been in Clarendon Court Care Home now for 15 months, following a major stroke and I am very happy with the care my father has. He is kept clean, fed and comfortable, which is quite difficult to do, given his disabilities. The staff are all very caring, ranging from cleaners, receptionists,
carers, nurses and management. They do an amazing job for which I am extremely grateful. Having a parent in a nursing home can be a very upsetting and challenging time for all but the staff also support myself and my family which helps enormously. I would have no hesitation in recommending Clarendon Court Care Home.
