We cannot express enough how wonderful and kind all of the staff have been at Clarendon Court Care Home. From the smiling welcome of reception and managers to staff and residents throughout Mum's stay. The nursing care throughout was professional, caring and compassionate. Mum's frailty and pain were
always considered and every effort was made to ensure her pathway to her end-of-life care was followed. We thank all staff for the care and support not only to Mum but to her family.

The nicest staff I have ever met in a place of this size. Everyone was helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would give everyone at least a 9 out of 10 and most of them a 10 out of 10.

As soon as I enter the building, the receptionist welcomes me and is always extremely helpful. The nursing staff are caring and my friend always seems clean, comfortable and very relaxed and happy. It is always a good experience and I visit every week!

The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and I really value the fantastic care and support they give to my dad. The home is always very clean and well maintained and I'm very grateful for the ongoing care staff give - particularly as I live a distance away in London.

My nan has felt really at home here since she moved, the facilities are great and most staff are fantastic. The communication is good I often get updates to the care plan.
Food is second to none. Always cleaners pattering around sweeping, emptying bins etc.

Excellent care. They looked after my 93-year-old sister after she fell and broke her upper femur and humerus bones. They gave her excellent nursing and personal care in a lovely clean, warm comfortable room. The meals were tasty, appetising and nutritional. Everything was done to monitor and improve
my sister's condition.

Very caring and friendly atmosphere. Staff communicate well and respond quickly to any requests and questions. My mum has had some episodes of illness during her stay and the nursing care has been excellent as a result and avoided another hospital admission. The manager has been particularly helpful
in her communication with mums social worker to facilitate her discharge home.

This is truly a lovely nursing home and I have found all the staff extremely nice, friendly and caring. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Friendly greeting as soon as I enter the home, I would truly recommend this home.

Fabulous care home with very caring staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The manager is always keen to help and advise, very understanding. Reception staff are very welcoming and friendly, lovely ladies.

There is a separate enquiry being held about my mother-in-law's care so I will not add further comment - suffice to say I had expected her to be safe - which ultimately she wasn't.

Clarendon Court Care Home have made a really difficult time so much better. It’s been so stressful being told Gran has to leave hospital but can’t go home as there’s no care available. She had gone for respite and therapy to Clarendon Court and is having such an amazing time. The staff are so caring
and their communication with me had been so good which is a huge relief after an awful time with the ward who told me nothing. Gran is now thinking she might be better off staying and I would be so happy for that, she would be safe, happy and really well care for. Thank you to the staff for everything you do.

During my immobile wife's two week stay:
Her skincare was almost absent, despite staff having been given extensive skincare notes. She came home with (our district nurse's words), excoriated skin making her susceptible to pressure sores.
She was left without a catheter for sixteen hours (after the
first of two catheters were pulled out) because there was no nurse certified there that night to fit a female catheter and Clarendon did not want to pay for a district nurse to do this.
On two or three nights she was not fitted with a night bag; she had to ring for a carer to come and empty her leg-bag in the nights.
She was not helped and so could not brush her teeth on several mornings/evenings.
A sanitary pad was left in her laundry bag attached to her underwear. Heavily soiled underwear was left mixed with her other clothes for washing.
She was not told that her purse had been put in the safe, which caused her distress and anxiety.
One dress disappeared.

Just a lovely home with super staff who genuinely care. Always made to feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble. Very clean and you feel very safe with the Covid protection measures they have in place. Staff are clearly happy and this shows in everything they do. Thank you so much to you all.

My husband has been in the home for a period of rehab. I have found everyone to be professional, caring and very friendly.
The care staff have treated my husband with respect and dignity, he is always clean and tidy.
The chef took the time to discuss my husbands likes and dislikes with me, as he
was not eating week. The food is freshly cooked and looks appatising, I highly recommend the home. The staff show patience, care and concern.

Very friendly and welcoming home. Staff are very professional and I know the residents are safe in their care. I have no concerns and I am always kept informed and know what is going on so even though I can’t visit, I feel involved.
