Mum has been here nearly 2 years and during this time the staff have been amazing with her. They have also supported us as a family as her illness has progressed, keeping us updated at all times. Despite being extremely busy, they always take the time to treat mum well and look after her as best they

My mother's health deteriorated over the last few months and, eventually, I had to make the difficult decision to find a care home that fitted my Mum's needs. Following some research, Parkmanor Nursing home received outstanding reviews and comments and we were so lucky that they had a room. Mum is only
in the care home for a few weeks, but the level of care she has received has been incredible. The facilities are excellent, the classes to stimulate the residents are well thought out and clever and the standard of food is excellent. However, what makes Parkmanor special is very simple. It is each and every one of the team that work there. From the head of services, nurses, care workers, canteen staff and cleaners, each and every one of them are special, caring people and have contributed to Mum settling in so quickly. We are blessed that Mum is content and receiving the care she needs, and for that reason, I cannot thank the team enough.

My mother was placed in Parkmanor Oaks in late August of this year and from the very beginning, she was made very welcome and part of the Parkmanor Oaks family. Myself and my family feel very at ease knowing she is being well cared for and looked after.

My Granny seems to be very happy in the home, she settled in quite easily and seems to enjoy being there. The staff are all friendly and kind to my Granny. They look after her well and they also are friendly to family when we visit. The staff all seem to be patient and warm when interacting with patients

Parkmanor was top of our research list and after visiting the home became the only one on the list. Vindication of that decision has come from the fact that now 8 months later my mum (really from day one) has settled into the home so well and all the staff are so kind and caring to her.
They have
made a very difficult time for all of us so much easier and yet whilst they are there for all the necessary and important stuff, even at 3.30 am in the morning, they manage to keep a smile and joyful spirit going throughout the day. I can’t thank them enough for what they do for her and I know she appreciates that too.

Since dad became a resident here, I have never failed to be impressed at the care, compassion and dignity all the staff have shown him. I know as a family, we are continuously grateful and if dad could express himself he would thank each and every one of the staff and manager.

Only issue I have is there are not enough staff on at night for all residents. My nanny has been put to bed early on a few occasions and has been trying to climb out of bed as she hasn't been tired enough to sleep.

The care the staff provide for my husband could not be better. He is extremely well looked after, cared for and loved by everyone here. Such a consolation for me as I have lost my beloved husband who I miss so much.
The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming and happy and this must rub off on the patients.

My mother who suffers from dementia had to move from living alone to a care home and the minute I stepped into Parkmanor Oaks, I knew this was the best place for her. Every single member of staff treats my mother and all the rest of the residents with dignity, respect, care and love. Mum is on the first
floor which is a specialised dementia unit and every detail of their surroundings has been carefully designed with such care and attention that makes this place a happy, bright place to live. The rooms are beautiful and look more like a hotel room than a care home. My mum has been in Parkmanor for nearly two months now and even though she has good and bad days, I know she is being well looked after and cared for by everyone. The dayroom has always a great buzz in it and the activities are brilliant to keep the residents happy and involved. This care home is first class in every aspect and I couldn't be any happier with the care my mum is receiving here.

In my experience of this care home, spanning just over 3 years, its standards are exemplary. Staffing numbers are good, they rarely leave and take time to get to know the residents and build good relationships with them. All staff, from every department, get to know and interact with residents on an
individual basis. This gives our family great reassurance and support through difficult times.

My father has been in Park Manor for almost two weeks. I have been very impressed by the standard of care and attention given to him.
The staff have kept us continually informed about all aspects of his well-being and have given us great support and understanding.

I found that all the staff were very helpful. They tried to make it very easy for my dad and his family to adjust to being in the nursing home. Nothing was ever too much bother. They took the time to listen to us about the things he likes so as they were able to talk to him, I am very happy with the

When my mother became unable to look after herself at home, I searched around for a suitable nursing home for her. That was a depressing experience...until I came to Park Manor. I knew immediately it was the best place for her.
Since arriving in September 2018, she has been well cared for and is content,
clean, well fed and safe, none of which she was before she moved in.

Park Manor has been a lifeline for our family. From the initial phone call enquiring if a bed was available, until his now residing at the home, all the staff have been wonderful.
They welcomed us and my dad and made us feel part of the Park Manor family. All the staff, including support staff, are

Staff members (cleaners, nurses, handymen, etc.) are very good at engaging my dad in conversation.

My mum has been in this care home for three years and had received excellent nursing care. Both her nursing and dementia needs are met in a very caring and professional way by all staff members. My mother is very content and enjoys the many activities arranged on a weekly basis. The home has a high
standard of cleanliness and the food is plentiful and well suited to elderly tastes. From the top down, there is a wonderful ethos of care, compassion, understanding and love.
