A full range of caring support including residential, nursing, convalescent and post-operative care and specialise in respite, Alzheimer’s & dementia and palliative care.

My husband had been a resident here since December 2017. He had excellent care, physically and mentally. The staff cared for him beyond “it's my job” and were very understanding and sympathetic towards the family too. Latterly, my husband was in Abbey Suite and any interests or moods were very sympathetically
dealt with. He loved dancing and the staff would encourage him, anytime music was on. There was no hesitation to give me a bed in my husband's room for his last week. My daughter and son were allowed access to come and sit with me, during that time. It was wonderful to be with him as it was obvious he couldn't be at home. My daughter, son and grandchildren were treated as one of the family, when they visited and we were so fortunate to choose this particular home. What a treasure the staff are. I still pop in for a visit because I also provide knitting to be passed on to Ninewells Hospital and I am treated in such a friendly manner.

Lovely home. Building clean and roomy. Most staff lovely and caring. One or two who prefer their phones to work. My mum well looked after. Food, entertainment, everything wonderful - amazing since there has been little management. I have never seen or been spoken to by a manager as there seems to never
be one! So staff should be rewarded for keeping this home running so well without management.

I was very pleased with the care and attention nursing staff gave Mum in the short time she was with Balhousie Coupar Angus. I would recommend the care home for anyone looking for a care home.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the home itself is pleasant to visit. I like the fact there are quiet areas where we can sit and chat and not have to stay in the room or in the lounge where the television is. On the whole, the home seems to be well run and the standard of care very good.

Although generally, Balhousie is OK, the staffing levels appear to be low, therefore carers don't have the time to sit with the residents - especially in their rooms. Usually, they are in to help to the toilet and out again. The food also appears to be rather boring. It's Tuesday so it must be macaroni
type thing - maybe the cook should stop spending under her allowance and "up the antie".

Clean and comfortable with attentive staff who clearly know the residents. My mother can be very critical but she has no complaints. Staff always communicate with me.

My father was admitted om crisis as he could not walk/take his weight.
Over the four weeks, he has put on weight, been able to get himself out of bed, and can now move around.
