Hill Top care centre provides care for 77 clients whose needs are associated with the ageing process, with a dementia, a mental disability and/or a physical disability, all in single level access shower en-suite accommodation.

Overfields Care Centre will provide a further 34 spacious level access en-suite rooms.

The Fairways opens in summer 2017.

Our son came to you after a fall, broken ankle, and I cannot fault the care. Even though he's only 45, he's happy, well looked after. Your staff have been wonderful.

My mum has been in Hilltop for over a year now. I know she can be very difficult at times but the staff and management are excellent. I have no worries about her being here. I know she is safe, well looked after and well fed. I would recommend Hilltop to anyone.

She has been a permanent FT resident since November 2018 with advanced vascular dementia. She could not have had better care; clean, non-smelly premises, light and airy bedroom and lounge areas. Amazing staff and carers, laundry manager, medic, reception and all. Fully informed at all time, quick responses.
In a horrible situation, the most reassuring of teams.

My husband sadly developed a rare form of Alzheimer’s disease in his early 50s. By 2015 it was getting very difficult for me to take care of him at home and he went into care at Hilltops and was there for almost 5 years. Hilltops is an amazing place with amazing people and I have been humbled by what
I have witnessed first hand. The carers at Hilltops’s do well above and beyond duty. The love and care I have personally seen and received are amazing. We call it a family and it certainly is, my husband was so loved and cared for by all at Hilltops. The times I have walked in and found the carer with their arm around my husband or stroking him for comfort. I know my husband couldn’t speak but he certainly showed his happiness. My time at Hilltops’s has been a very positive experience I have laughed and cried with the staff and the support they gave me. I couldn’t possibly thank them enough. My husband sadly passed away in March this year.

I think this care home must be one of the best. My husband has been there a year and I wouldn't want him to go anywhere else. The staff are brilliant and really do their job very well. If I have one complaint it must be cleanliness in parts. I did complain about my husband's room once as it was not
clean at all but it has improved a lot. The Bistro kitchen is very dirty sometimes, in fact I've felt like doing it myself.

The standard of this care home has gone down from when we first saw it. Dad is not as happy now as he was. Why has the home had 4 outbreaks of Norovirus? Cleaning standards have gone down a lot in 6 months. The lift smells. The phone is not being answered. Items going missing from the room, being left
in the lounge at lunchtime. Tables are still dirty at lunchtime from breakfast, not wiped over.

My father was only at Hill Top for a short time, but I couldn’t have wished for him to have been anywhere else. I am eternally grateful that he was there for the last few months of his life. The staff were second to none, my father wasn’t always easy, but all the staff treated him with love and respect
right up to the end of his life. The manager always had time for me, and the senior staff along with their colleagues were all brilliant. I don’t have enough words to thank them all and I will never forget them.

I would like to send a quick few words expressing my impressed visit and happiness about Phoenix Park Care Village. My grandma has been with you for a short time and your carers and facility have been amazing settling her in and she has settled in very well. Also, I would like to commend a specific
carer at Phoenix Park Care Village, she is one of the most lovely people I have met, she has gone above and beyond as a person and a carer. We met by chance and realised my gran was on this carers unit and she has kept me well informed and up to date with how she is and also helped me understand a lot about my grandma's condition. Her knowledge is very impressive and she has even picked me up and taken me to see my gran as I am carless currently. I could not show my gratitude enough for this carer going well out of her way and also the rest of the staff for doing a fab job.

Upon visiting my friend in the downstairs unit I have to say I was extremely impressed. There is a notice board with the staff's photographs which is a brilliant idea so people know whom they are talking to.
The kindness and respect the staff show residents and visitors are exemplary.
Within 5 minutes
of being shown to where I needed to be, I had a drink in hand with my friend. The unit leader explained the plans that the home has to improve the units for the service users and its safe to say I will be reserving a room there. A cinema, pub, restaurant, hairdressers. And more to come. This is what care homes should be like.
The advent display in the restaurant was amazing and it really shows how much goes into the care provided at Hilltop. On my visit, there was a singer performing for the residents. All seemed to be enjoying it. Including the staff who were seen dancing with the service users.
Well done all. You ought to be so proud of yourselves.

It was with a lot of trepidation that I felt leaving Mum here - the experience we had had of her treatment in hospital left a lot to be desired.
It was for the first time in months once Mum was settled in that I began to feel happy leaving her knowing she was well cared for and treated and cared for
the way she should always have been.
The staff did a wonderful job of looking after her and nothing was too much trouble.
My only wish was I wish we had got her there sooner.
I would recommend it to friends and family - of course, it's not home but it's as good as, and the staff really do seem to care and put the person above all else.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff who attended to, and took care of, my brother. At such a difficult time for him, the care, attention and love shown to him was exemplary. His needs, both medically and otherwise, was of the highest standards and at no time did I ever feel

I am very happy with the nursing and general care is given to my wife during the time she was at Hill Top. All the staff we met had the same attitude of concerns care and consideration for the residents. The wellbeing of their clients controlled all activity with them, whether it was for medical or
personal needs, everything was done with the residents needs as the foal.
After several months of concern over the care been given to my wife, it was a great relief to be able to leave her confident that all of her needs were being met, and would be met at any time, day or night.
Couldn't ask for a better or nicer group of people who have the right reasons for doing the work they are doing.

Overall, I think my husband is being looked after very well. He is not unhappy in care and the carers treat him with respect and kindness. Recently my husband has had two spells in hospital, consequently losing weight but in each case as soon as he was back in in the home, he recovered really well.
I really appreciate the kindness shown to him by ALL the carers, I could not single anyone out.

My mother spent her last four months at Hilltops after being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in Dec 2016 and hospitalised for radiotherapy on her spine. Initially, she saw the nursing home as a temporary respite while building up her mobility. However, she quickly realised that she would not be able
to cope at home with limited nursing care compared to Hilltops 24 hour care. She was very happy at the home - especially because of the care and attention of all the staff who always treated her with respect, dignity and affection. Importantly, they always had time for chatting. Visitors were always made very welcome. As her medical needs increased, the Home was proactive in involving medical agencies, including Macmillan. They did everything they could to make sure her remaining time was quality time eg arranging visits to her home, coffee shops, garden centres. Their support to me as her daughter was greatly appreciated, not just information but emotional support.

Dad has only been there for 3 weeks, so far their service has been excellent. The staff are friendly and supportive, particularly as this has been an incredibly stressful time for dad and family.

My husband has not been a resident very long but the first impression of the staff was excellent. So friendly and supportive, couldn't do enough for you, very clean. Cleaners are always on the go and because my husband has toilet issues as soon as you ask them to come they are soon there.

good, nurses good. The only comment - they could have a conversation with you about what they are doing with him. You always have to ask. Sometimes feel as if they are always rushing you.
