Many thanks for your kind review. It was a real privilege to have been able to look after your mother for so long. We are delighted that you feel she was in good hands, and that you considered yourself to be part of our family, just as she was. She was certainly a lively character, joining in the activities and entertainment with real energy and enthusiasm. We remember many things about her – her determination to remain independent, her huge smile and how she loved to sing! During the seven years that she was with us, we got to know her well. Hi Marion, many thanks for your kind review. We are so pleased to hear that you feel that your mother was safe and well looked after here at Cedars. We know how much she enjoyed all the activities and outings. Staff remember her as someone who joined in absolutely everything, determined to live life to the full. She loved the chair exercise sessions and singalongs – we couldn’t believe it when she brought her own karaoke machine with her into the home! She especially loved trips to the seaside and the next best thing for her was sitting in our garden with her sun hat on. Your mother was a huge personality who is very much missed by residents and staff.
