The service and management are excellent here. The staff are helpful. My father has been here for quite some time not. Best place for my father's care. Highly recommend.

Always very clean. All staff are friendly and caring and there always seems to be plenty of staff on duty when I visit (afternoons).

My mother was a resident until her passing. Her care was very good. Everyone had her best interests at heart and nothing was too much trouble. I can only say thank you so much for your kindness to all staff.

My husband is now a resident in Middleton Grove care home with dementia and he can't move. All carers are very professional. We are very satisfied with the staff. All rooms are spacious and very clean. The food is very good, like home cooked. My husband is treated kindly and with a lot of attention. My husband feels at home. We are very grateful to all staff, carers and nurses.

Is it the most glamorous care home in the world? Perhaps not. But does it genuinely care for the well-being and health of the residents who live there? Absolutely.

My partner was not given the room we were shown for him. There were other people's clothes in his wardrobe. He puts a pillow over his chest because he gets cold, one blanket is not enough. He was wheeled to the lounge in a wheelchair, strapped in and not placed in an easy chair afterwards - suffering from a sore back. Two screaming patients were placed near his room - they screamed day and night. He is bedridden and had no trolley with wheels to pull near him and reach his food and drink. His bell cord did not work.

Everything about the home was good, even told the council. Loved the food choices-very tasty. Visits were open and all staff was friendly and helpful.

My sister has been very happy with the way that all the team at Middleton Grove have helped her adjust to life in her new home, which was a big ask following hospitalisation and health deterioration (MS) radically affecting her independence. We have been very impressed by the way that everyone has supported her, particularly the activities team, through this challenging time for her. She has kept her quirky sense of self, settled in and made new friends. Middleton Grove have also responded really fast and well to the challenges from the Covid virus, well in advance of coherent central direction from government, which was impressive. All the team, covering all the aspects of the home, are working really hard in difficult circumstances, and it is a sign of a mature and well-organised team that pulls together. I have found everyone to be really helpful, professional and kind. The regular GP visits are reassuring. We look forward to better days after the virus subsides.

I have been very impressed with the standard of care delivered by all the team at Middleton Grove. The activities offered to keep residents engaging is excellent, my friend loves the visits from different animals, the sheep was a particular favourite. At the time of writing this review l am not able to visit because of Coronavirus. I would like to thank the team for keeping me informed on how my friend is and for their efforts in shielding all the residents from this virus.
