My sister has been very happy with the way that all the team at Middleton Grove have helped her adjust to life in her new home, which was a big ask following hospitalisation and health deterioration (MS) radically affecting her independence. We have been very impressed by the way that everyone has
supported her, particularly the activities team, through this challenging time for her. She has kept her quirky sense of self, settled in and made new friends. Middleton Grove have also responded really fast and well to the challenges from the Covid virus, well in advance of coherent central direction from government, which was impressive. All the team, covering all the aspects of the home, are working really hard in difficult circumstances, and it is a sign of a mature and well-organised team that pulls together. I have found everyone to be really helpful, professional and kind. The regular GP visits are reassuring. We look forward to better days after the virus subsides.

I have been very impressed with the standard of care delivered by all the team at Middleton Grove. The activities offered to keep residents engaging is excellent, my friend loves the visits from different animals, the sheep was a particular favourite. At the time of writing this review l am not able
to visit because of Coronavirus. I would like to thank the team for keeping me informed on how my friend is and for their efforts in shielding all the residents from this virus.

I think Middleton Grove is overall a good nursing home providing reasonable personal care and excellent food. However, I would like to say that there are not enough staff on each floor (only 2). If they are caring for a person then the other residents are unwatched in the lounge.

When you go to home everybody is very friendly. The building inside is very comfortable and well maintained. My mum's bedroom is very sunny and inviting. Guests are very welcome.

My friend has not been able to take part in many activities or to eat solid foods. The staff are very kind and he is very well looked after. Visitors are made very welcome too. My experience with homes has been mixed but I cannot fault Middleton Grove during the 18 months I have visited regularly.

My mother who is 99 recently moved into the home. I can’t fault the care and attention that she is receiving from all the staff. Her room is a bit small but she will be moved to a larger room when one becomes available. The food is excellent and she enjoys it. All in all this is a wonderful care home
for her where they are looking after all her needs.
