3 Bridges is a 72-bed Care Home located in Cathcart, Glasgow that provides residential care, dementia care and 24 Hour nursing care.

The highly skilled and motivated staff provide 24 hour nursing care which is tailored to each individual's unique support needs and wishes.

The home's luxurious interiors include a beauty salon and in-house spa service, a cocktail bar, and a cinema.

A team of highly trained culinary staff cater for residents special dietary requirements throughout the day, from hot and cold breakfast choices, themed lunch and dinner menu's, to special occasion private dinning experiences.   

There is a busy programme of activities and entertainment to choose from. Guests are welcomed; they can enjoy a complementary afternoon tea or private meal to celebrate special occasions.

As care homes go this is a good one but there is still plenty of room for improvement, in hospitality and laundry as well as making the care more individual. We really miss the cafe as it was great for getting the residents out of the room for a change of scene and the coffee was lovely!

My mum has now been resident in 3 Bridges for 9 months. When she was first admitted straight from the hospital she was very poorly. As it is a nursing home the staff were wonderful and it meant she didn't need to go back into the hospital. The first few months were difficult but through the care and
attention from the staff, my mum has really rallied and is very settled and has good fun with the staff. She really thinks of the place as home now and is not stressed and most of our visits are very enjoyable and again made better by the friendliness of the staff. If I had one issue it would be sometimes short of staff but this is a recognised UK-wide problem and the staff at 3 bridges in my opinion go above and beyond.

My dad is currently a resident at 3 Bridges Care Home. My late mum was also a resident. I have nothing but praise for the level of care and kindness. It’s an incredibly professionally run care home and residents enjoy a very high standard of personal care. Any medical concerns are promptly dealt with.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Communication with relatives is always prompt about any concerns. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and there are lots of very well-organised seasonal events throughout the year.

Ray leads a dedicated team of four staff in creating nutritionally balanced meals for 72 clients. He ensures that individual dietary needs are met, maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality, personalised nutrition.


Ray's role extends beyond daily meal preparation to organising special events for clients and their families. These include private dining experiences, summer barbecues, and chef-led initiatives such as ‘Making with Chef’, themed evenings showcasing global cuisines, and monthly cheese and wine afternoons.
