Our housekeeping team have a daily cleaning routine to ensure that our home is as clean as possible. We have re-iterated their night cleaning duties and we are also in the process of recruiting a further member of house keeping staff. We are scheduled to have our carpets cleaned shortly and our new chairs are scheduled for delivery imminently. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, we would be happy to do so at a mutually convenient time.

Thank you for your comments. We appreciate that not having the entry codes to external doors may feel a little inconvenient for some relatives, however, assure you the safety of residents is our primary concern. Well-meaning relatives have in the past mistaken residents for visitors and, by opening and holding open external doors, inadvertently put them at risk. Visitors can also sometimes, in their excitement to see loved ones, forget to sign in, and it is vital we have a full record of who is in the building at any one time for health and safety reasons. Our approach aims to mitigate these risks and ensure our home is a safe environment.
We also appreciate your point about deliveries however while food deliveries do go straight into the kitchen via the back door, unfortunately, other deliveries are unable to go through the kitchen for hygiene reasons. We always strive to ensure these deliveries are put away as soon as they arrive and are not left in the path of people entering the home.
