My stepmother has been resident in Abundant Grace for over 4 years and has been well cared for with all the staff treating her with respect. She has Alzheimer's and can be difficult at times but the staff always manage to calm her down. My father was also in Abundant Grace and when alive, he and my stepmother enjoyed their time together which was definitely extended by the good care provided at the home. It is always clean and tidy with the staff friendly and knowledgeable about all the residents.

My Mum has been cared for at Abundant Grace for 4 years and she has a lovely light and airy room on the first floor. The carers and nurses are friendly, as are all the staff who are hard working and genuinely care for, not only my Mum but all the residents and visitors. The cleaners work hard to keep the home looking and smelling nice. My Mum is very happy, content and well cared for and she is treated in a dignified and respectful manner at all times. There are lots of activities that the residents can participate in with regular visits from musicians and singers, animals and birds that can be stroked, arts and crafts, baking and much more! There is a garden with mature trees and paths where you can take your relative out for some fresh air too.

Abundant Grace is a beautiful Nursing Home - really light and airy. Mum thinks her room is lovely. She enjoys watching the squirrels and birds from her window and going for walks in the garden. There are also lots of lovely activities for people to choose from.

The staff are excellent - friendly, caring and with a great sense of humour. The nursing team have been fantastic when Mum has been unwell and are always very attentive. Mum is really happy here and that means the world to us.

My grandmother was a resident at Abundant Grace for the last 2 years of her life. As a family, we found it gave her everything she needed to make her happy and ourselves happy. The care was fantastic, the staff were very attentive. I would recommend Abundant Grace.

Overall Experience

My mother has been a resident on the dementia floor since April 2015, my father had a 6 week period of respite care on the ground floor commencing in May 2015. The staff are all very caring and are happy to assist. The home smells clean and fresh and the rooms are kept spotless. Food is excellent with a good choice available for even the fussiest of eaters. Following my fathers return home in June every one enquired about him and how he was managing which I felt was really nice.

"Welcome to Abundant Grace. The first thing people notice when they visit Abundant Grace isn't the building - it is the atmosphere. It's the sound of residents laughing together, families staying longer than they planned, and staff greeting everyone by name. Buildings don't create that sense of warmth; people do. Our ultimate aim is for every resident to feel that this is truly their home, not simply the place where they live.

When families first visit us, they are usually looking for reassurance that their loved one will be safe, happy, and genuinely cherished. For almost six years, I have had the privilege of leading our dedicated team and witnessing first-hand the difference that compassionate, person-centred care can make. I am proud that Abundant Grace has achieved a 'Good' rating across all five CQC domains, but our greatest achievement will always be the trust that our residents and their families place in us every day.

Everything we do is guided by one simple question: "What would I want if this were my own family?" That philosophy shapes the way we recruit, train, and support our team. While clinical excellence is essential, it is kindness, dignity, and respect that truly define exceptional care.

Our peaceful location on the outskirts of Seaford allows residents to enjoy a calm and relaxing environment while remaining close to family and friends. Whether we are supporting someone through changing care needs, celebrating life's milestones, or simply taking the time to sit and listen, our team is committed to ensuring every resident feels valued and respected.”
