Ever since my dad arrived at Chestnut Lodge he has been made to feel welcome, cared for and happy. My dad has made new friends since living at Chestnut Lodge which is a very hard thing for my dad to do which is lovely for him. There are a wide variety of activities he can get involved in or even to sit out in the well maintained garden, the carers make sure that he has sun cream on and always hydrated. I couldn't have found a better care home for my dad xx
It means a great deal to us to hear that your dad has felt so welcome, happy, and well cared for since joining Chestnut Lodge. Knowing that he has made new friendships and enjoys taking part in activities...
Our mum became a resident in March this year following a stay in hospital. The care, patience, professionalism and kindness of all the staff has meant that our mum is feeling very happy staying in Chestnut Lodge, free from any worries and confident in the excellent care she is receiving. As her daughters, we now have the peace of mind that she is safe and well. Moreover, the staff do an excellent job in communicating with us, nothing is too much trouble and none of us - resident and daughters - feel like a burden. Thank you.

My now late mother lived at Chestnut Lodge for over 5 years; as a family we were delighted to find such a lovely place for her to stay. The staff were always so kind and caring to her, treating her very much like their own granny. They also extended their support to us as family members which we have always appreciated - nothing was ever too much trouble. The home itself has always been extremely well maintained and is constantly being updated and improved and the facilities afforded to the residents are spot-on. Extending our thanks to the manager and all of her staff doesn't seem enough, but the peace of mind that we enjoyed and the loving care given to our mother was appreciated so much.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful message. We are truly touched to hear how much Chestnut Lodge meant to you and your family, and it was our privilege to care for your late mother during her time with us. It means a great deal to the whole team to know that our efforts made a...

My dad has been a resident at The Chestnut Lodge, Tonbridge for over 4 years. During that time I visit often at irregular intervals and have always found Dad to be well looked after and the staff to be kind and friendly. Today, my mother and I attended a Christmas meal put on for us by the staff for the residents and their families. The room was beautifully decorated, down to tiny details, the meal was well prepared and the attention paid to us by the staff was exemplary. Overall, the Christmas meal was, in my experience, totally consistent with how Chestnut Lodge functions, the work and attitude of the staff and the level of care and communication I have witnessed. I would recommend Chestnut Lodge to anyone needing care for a loved one.
Thank you for your very kind review. Thank you for attending a Christmas event, we very much enjoyed having everyone. Lots of laughter and fun were had by all.
A beautiful, well kept place for my mum to live and enjoy life. All the team are amazing, so friendly. I feel Mum enjoys living at The Chestnut Lodge and I have the peace of mind knowing she is being so well looked after in this lovely residential home.
Thank you Neil for your kind review rating and sharing your experience.
There's also always great communication from the staff - keeping me informed and up to date.
My aunt is very happy and comfortable enough to call it her home. Since she's been at The Chestnut Lodge, she has gained her confidence. My mother-in-law has late-stage dementia but is settled and her needs are met.
Thank you for your fantastic and positive feedback.
The staff are very helpful and supportive. Mum is happy at Chestnut Lodge. The family are very happy with the care home.
At a very distressing time, the team at Chestnut Lodge couldn't have been kinder to my mother and to myself. The carers worked hard at making my mother as comfortable as she could possibly be. The whole team, from reception who were cheery and welcoming, to the hardworking care team, and managers who were so kind when it was needed. They truly put the caring into their care home.
Thank you so much for your feedback, we were only too happy to provide support at this distressing and difficult time.
Very friendly and helpful, just a nice place, I am glad that my sister is here. Thank you all.
My mum is very happy and settled and I have good communication with all staff, management and carers.

Mum is comfortable and well looked after. home is clean and well-run, the room is clean and tidy, she likes the food she likes the dogs coming in, she has a choice of activities she eats well most of the time.

My husband has been a resident in The Chestnut Lodge for two years. He has always had the best care possible. All the staff are caring and professional and I am completely satisfied that he is being looked after extremely well.
The staff are very friendly. The home is clean and tidy and management staff are brilliant. The security is great.
You can always park.
They do lots of activities to keep mum occupied.
My connection with Chesnut Lodge has until recently been from a distance. I am a resident from overseas and have only recently arrived for a visit. Chestnut Lodge staff have been friendly and welcoming. My brother is comfortable in his room and I believe being well looked after.
My brother has been in residence for one year. I am pleased to say that my brother has settled well and contented. Staff have been supportive of myself and family. They have responded well to requests for treatments or other concerns I had for my brother.
There is a warm welcome to new residents at Chestnut Lodge and my mum settled in quickly. The management staff are exceptional, so friendly and helpful, and make things so much easier for relatives at a difficult time. The care staff are friendly, supportive and genuine in the care they provide to the residents. The home is a well adapted building providing good access on all levels, and the bedrooms are clean, fresh and airy with en-suites. Above all, the care provided here is excellent, delivered in a compassionate and authentic way. There are lots of smiles that greet you from the manager and receptionist, to all the care staff on duty. I have no hesitation in recommending this care home.
Thank you for your review. We are honored to have had the pleasure of supporting your mum at this time and wish both you and mum all the best for the future.
