Ryeview Manor Care Home

Wanted to put on record how impressed I and other family members have been regarding the care shown to your resident who passed away on 31st August after several years at Ryeview. We are very grateful for the kindness and compassion she received during her time with you. Thank you to all involved in her wellbeing.

My dad has lived in Ryeview Manor for 2 years. Over this time, his dementia has worsened but the support and care that he receives has always been of a high standard. As a family, we are always supported by the carers and the management team.

Staff at Ryeview Manor have been caring and have worked well with our family to help my mother settle in. Her room looks lovely thanks for help from maintenance staff. She is always well dressed when we come and visit. Medication is given on time and it is obvious that the home is keen that residents should feel like individuals. There are a wealth of activities, catering for artistic and musical tastes. The food is nice and staff often offer my two-year-old a biscuit. Staff are very friendly.

Since my wife went to Ryeview in mid-October 17 we have seen a marked improvement in her physical condition. She looks much better now and is clearly well looked after.

Our mum sadly only spent 14 months here out of her 4 years in care. As a family, we wish we had known of Ryeview sooner. The loving care and support our mum received was excellent. The management in particular were always efficient in dealing with any concerns and showed our mum such respect at all times. A shining example of a good care home.

Outstanding care provided by all staff over a very difficult period. Not only for the resident with Alzheimer's but also the family as a whole.

From day one of my wife coming to the home, I have had the complete support from all members of staff and was welcomed by 3-4 carers who were friendly yet highly professional. I was made aware of who would predominantly be looking after my wife which reassured me during this difficult time. Quick and decisive action was taken following a psychotic episode by my wife which lead to a much needed mental health assessment and review of her medication. The home offers a secure and safe environment. I have no doubt my wife has been cared for to an exceptional level and cannot thank you enough.

My mum was at Ryeview for 18 months before she passed away in December. She was a very sociable lady and enjoyed being there, the staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. I loved visiting her there and went in most days, we felt that the staff were our friends and she loved listening to all their news. Everyone had a smile and I miss going in to see them all.

Fun team with really good knowledge on my Aunts health. My Aunt enjoyed activities and there was lots to do. Nice room and lots of friendly smiles.

Ryeview Manor Care Home provides a warm, comfortable and friendly environment for both my parents that is sensitive to their differing care needs. We have been able to create a good rapport with the management and care staff, and also some other residents and their families, which helps to enhance the family community of this home. The building is well laid out. The care staff are reliable and attentive. The catering staff work hard to accommodate individual needs and preferences. The activities team puts much effort into devising interesting and stimulating activities for all residents. My parents have enjoyed a much-improved quality of life at this home.

They have to increase the activities, including more physical activities/exercise. The food/drink needs to be improved with more choice and variety.

Such a lovely home lovely vibe. Good staff kind and caring. Mum was reluctant to go initially but after a week she settled well. Lovely room, nice clean home, lots to do. Happy to complete this.

My mum is a new resident at Ryeview Manor Care Home and it was a hard decision for me to have to make. From my first meeting with a member of staff through to mums assessment I felt reassured that she would be looked after in the best way possible.

I love Ryeview and am so happy that my mum lives there. The manager and her team deserve a medal!

Good, caring staff. Mum treated with dignity and respect. Management keen to ensure any "niggles" are taken care of quickly. Conscious of improving quality and standards and maintaining the level of care at all times. I am happy my mum is being taken care of for her "however long" years.

I have visited a friend who is happily settled in there. A delightful care home with excellent facilities and care. Very spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating access.

This is a delightful place to visit. Everyone is so friendly. It is the best care home I have visited. There seems to be so much to do after listening to different people.

It is her own fault that she does not join in events but she could be persuaded but she needs to be taken along and time is a difficult commodity to manage for you.

Mum stayed in home for two weeks. The home and service were second to none. Staff were very caring and treated mum with dignity. We'll be back and thank you to the team.
