I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am with the care for my mum at Anita Stone Court. It is not that every single detail is always perfect but more importantly the staff are all so genuinely helpful, friendly and kind and if anything is asked for they get onto it immediately. I feel my mum is in really safe hands and I feel very grateful that we found such a loving place for her final chapter.

My brother has been at Anita Stone Court for 4 years. From the day he moved in he has been looked after well and I wouldn't change to any other home. The staff, clears and management are good. My husband has been a resident for nearly 6 months now, I am so glad he is there as all of the staff are fantastic, they always have a smile & say hello, & he is so well looked after. After caring for him myself for 2 1/2 yrs on my own, I now feel more relaxed & back to being his wife & not his carer. I can't recommend Anita Stone Court enough, everything about it is amazing. A big thank you to everyone there.

My husband has been a resident for 16 months and has had minimal mobility for all that time. I am happy with the care that he receives from the hard-working staff. He chooses not to participate in any activities so spends all his time in his room. He has a nice room, overlooking the garden, and makes use of his TV. When family members visit they are always offered a cup of tea/coffee.

Anita Stone Court proved to be perfect for my mother's needs - wheelchair and mixed dementia. I had to take the difficult decision to find a suitable care home but as soon as I entered and met staff I just knew it would be ideal. Once mom moved in she did find it difficult at first but the expert care and attention given to her ensured she settled well and started to get involved with the activities on offer. All of the staff - managers, nurses and carers - showed excellent knowledge and support to mom.

Unfortunately mom's health quickly took a turn for the worse and she sadly passed away. The manager, nurses, carers and paramedics were with her but I didn't manage it get there in time. The staff were incredibly attentive to me when I arrived and they all showed the greatest respect and love to mom - even lining up as she was taken by the undertakers. I cannot thank them enough for their kind words of condolence. I would have loved mom to have lived longer in this wonderful home.

My mother was a resident of the home due to her dementia and mobility issues. Initially she kept requesting to leave but the staff were reassuring and up until her death in April she had settled and seemed happy.
Unfortunately she only was at the home for 8 weeks until she passed away age 92. I live in the south of England and when I visited I was welcomed and the assistant manager spent time with me - advising me of the mums routines, her key workers and showed me her room. I also was in email contact with the manager who I found very helpful and people centred. The care staff also appeared to be involved with the residents and not with each other which I've seen in other establishments.
My mother particularly liked the coffee lounge area where she enjoyed a latte with family who visited. The grounds are also delightful.

My mums last weeks of her life were enhanced by the care she received. Thank you all at Anita Stone.

I have found the care home manager to be very helpful. Due to a financial error, we were being charged the wrong amount for Mum's 24-hour care. We had a series of meetings to rectify the shortfall and a helpful, considerate understanding was reached. I had complained that some of the food served seemed like 'convenience' food. The manager took the trouble to show me that their food was made with fresh ingredients, even giving me a tour of their ambient fridge room.

My mum has vascular dementia for several years and has been at this home for 4 years. She has always said that she is happy. We had to take her off site for a dental appointment and on our return to the house, she became confused, not recognising where she was and unable to independently navigate to the room, not recognising her room and became inconsolable. Various members of staff came to our aid, deploying their care, experience and empathy to distract Mum by taking her to a different room (their sensory room) and engaging her is a quiet activity. It was reassuring for me to witness my mum being cared for in this way.

Mum has recently moved into Anita Stone Court and I am so glad we have come here. From the moment we arrived, we were fully involved with planning Mum's care. We were introduced immediately to her named nurse and her key worker and all the staff have made an effort to get to know Mum and understand her needs and preferences. The manager and all of the team have been the epitome of kindness and seem to actively enjoy what they are doing making the environment a happy and warm place to be.

Mealtimes are made very sociable which is a bonus for Mum who doesn't like to eat alone and the food is excellent. The bistro where we can come and have a drink or snack as a family, together with Mum, is a real bonus.

Met with the General Manager to carry out a 6-month review of my Mother's stay.
I felt that the manager had a good level of awareness of Mom's challenging behaviour and was able to talk, in detail, about how this has changed over this period.
The manager struck me as being in tune with her role and how that relates to residents, family, and team members alike.
Throughout the manager appeared to be highly motivated and enthusiastic about what she is responsible for.

I complimented her on the attention and care given to my Mother and, in particular, the positive culture that provides this.

My dad has been here for three months, and we are very happy with the care from the team. My mom, at 81, is very comfortable here and visits every day.
