My mum was given a place at Ashton Meadows for palliative care at the families request rather than staying in hospital for her last days. It has been the best decision we have made as it is such a lovely place. The staff are so helpful and kind and mum has been looked after so well. After saying mum only had days left, 3 months later she is still here and is doing a bit better, although still at the end of her life, the care she is receiving has greatly helped her quality of life, so the family are very thankful for that. The place itself is beautiful with lovely gardens and lots of activities to do if the resident can. But it's the staff that are very helpful and kind that make the Ashton Meadows special.

The home itself is beautiful and a lovely place for his respite. Thank you to the staff who supported my husband during a very difficult period of his life.

Excellent care, very friendly with genuine concern for residents. My mum is always helped with washing and dressing if needs be., and her room and common rooms are always very clean. The atmosphere is happy and relaxed nothing is too much trouble. So pleased to be here

The premises are new & in very good condition. What is impressive is the quality of the staff. The standard of care that we have received was excellent. Visitors are welcomed in a friendly fashion & kept well informed about their family member's care

My mother came to this home and has settled in with the care of the staff. Nothing is too much to ask. They are so caring, understanding of her needs and ours as a family who have been caring for her at home. My son says he has his Nan back. I have my Mom back. Thank you

The service here has been excellent I cannot fault any of the care she has received. Everything she has needed has been cared for and the staff are there for any of her needs. The room and the home is very very clean and they have kept us updated with any change or needs she has wanted. Overall top service from a lovely team of workers

My mother, Betty, came to Ashton Meadows on 23rd January 2026 for 3 weeks' respite care having been in hospital for 5 weeks with flu and other related illnesses. The care she received from all staff members was good, and in the 3 weeks she was there she recovered from her ill health, put on weight through regular balanced meals, and increased her mobility through physiotherapy and activities. We are happy with all aspects of Ashton Meadows and would recommend them to friends. Thank you.

"Our family is incredibly grateful for the care my mother-in-law receives here. The staff are exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive, creating a truly homely environment. The home and rooms are always nice and clean, and there is a peaceful atmosphere throughout the beautiful garden and grounds. Residents are encouraged to join in in the daily activities. We have been impressed with the standard of food which is both healthy and well prepared. We have had regular contact from the staff on how she is settling in and it feels like a warm supportive environment and we would highly recommend from what we have experienced so far. Thank you to all staff.

Although it has only been a week, our experience so far has been overwhelmingly positive. We are grateful to the entire team at Ashton Meadows.

Excellent parking provisions and coded entry and exit so residents all safe

The manager is so welcoming and gives you his time of day to have a nice chat and get to know you personally.

I have found that everything has been provided to me with the highest standard and professionalism. I couldn't ask for a higher service.

Ashton Meadow's has been amazing taking care of my grandad. The staff were so welcoming and helped my grandad settle in. His room is wonderful and he often comments on how lovely the food is here! Whenever we visit the home is always very clean the staff always extremely friendly and we couldn't of asked for a better place for grandad to be!

My dad has been a resident for over 2 months, and to say that he is a different man since being at Ashton Meadows is an understatement. All the staff are polite, attentive and very caring. From the minute you come into reception, you are met with smiles and kindness. The best nursing home I've been to!

Our experience of my husband living in Ashton Meadows Nursing Home in Kingston has been excellent. He is well cared for by kind and efficient members of staff.

Very good, fantastic, and I will miss all the staff, they are very kind, and they show so much love and affection. Manager is lovely.

And at the same time, asking myself if there is anything I need. I could not ask for a better home for my mother to spend the rest of her days in.
