My Mother has been at Aston House since May, and has been fortunate enough to be looked after by Joseph and his team. This is a care home that treats their residents like family, showing them respect whilst maintaining their dignity. Therefore I would recommend Ashton Grange to anyone who needs support looking after a loved one.

All facilities seemed to work OK - except no basin plug - but some if it would benefit from redecoration.

Unfortunately I am unable to visit the home as regularly as I have been, but the staff are great in keeping me up to date on Dad's well being. I get regular photos and comments of dad and the things he is up too. It is a lovely touch and is much appreciated also it is never any trouble whenever I ring for update. Dad is well looked after and happy.

I will miss the staff, some of whom I have come to regard as friends, and I can only thank everyone for their love, care and attention to detail.

The premises are new & in very good condition. What is impressive is the quality of the staff. The standard of care that we have received was excellent. Visitors are welcomed in a friendly fashion & kept well informed about their family member's care

There is a warm and friendly atmosphere at Ashtonleigh. The staff are very friendly and helpful and have just given my mother the most marvellous party for her 100th birthday. My mother is happy and well cared-for at the home.

I found the clinical staff to be excellent and of a high standard. As a non practising RN I felt that the carers were of a high standard. Then I learnt that many were RNs in their own countries. This made sense with the high standard of nursing care delivered. The RNs themselves were friendly, communicative and professional. All this is important with our loved ones who may need total patient care. The nursing care is equivalent to any geriatric centre of excellence.

My mum has been a resident of Ashton Grange since May this year - the third care facility since the start of her journey. Joseph and his team are simply the best! They totally understand the meaning of dementia care and every staff member is super lovely. The care my mum is receiving is second to none and we, as a family, can finally rest knowing that she is in very capable hands. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ashton Grange. I am grateful every day for the care my mum is receiving. They have a fabulous schedule of activities which residents are encouraged to take part in - including visits from outside entertainers. The staff simply can't do enough - even when mum is grouchy - they know it is the illness - not my mum and treat her with the utmost respect. A huge thank you to Joseph and his team from a relieved daughter and son!

In general the level of care my mum received is second to none. The staff really put the 'extra mile' in going the extra mile. They are kind, empathetic, so thoughtful & nothing is ever too much trouble.

From the day he arrived our friend loved Ashtonleigh, the care and attention has been excellent. His room is airy and the food first class. Every one of the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We attended the May Day celebration which was first class with great food, lots of entertainment and a great atmosphere.

My mother came to this home and has settled in with the care of the staff. Nothing is too much to ask. They are so caring, understanding of her needs and ours as a family who have been caring for her at home. My son says he has his Nan back. I have my Mom back. Thank you

The service here has been excellent I cannot fault any of the care she has received. Everything she has needed has been cared for and the staff are there for any of her needs. The room and the home is very very clean and they have kept us updated with any change or needs she has wanted. Overall top service from a lovely team of workers

My mother, Betty, came to Ashton Meadows on 23rd January 2026 for 3 weeks' respite care having been in hospital for 5 weeks with flu and other related illnesses. The care she received from all staff members was good, and in the 3 weeks she was there she recovered from her ill health, put on weight through regular balanced meals, and increased her mobility through physiotherapy and activities. We are happy with all aspects of Ashton Meadows and would recommend them to friends. Thank you.

Very friendly, clean, everything a home should be. I am only a visitor coming to see a very dear friend but cannot seem to fault anything, would have no problems in only not myself or family here.

So pleased that my special friend is in this lovely, caring home. This is the third home she has been in and by far the best. Staff are always very cheerful, the atmosphere is excellent, my friend doesn't seem sedated anymore and always seems happy. I visit another friend every week at another home, which is very expensive but nowhere as good as this one.

The home and rooms are always nice and clean, and there is a peaceful atmosphere throughout the beautiful garden and grounds. Residents are encouraged to join in in the daily activities. We have been impressed with the standard of food which is both healthy and well prepared. We have had regular contact from the staff on how she is settling in and it feels like a warm supportive environment and we would highly recommend from what we have experienced so far. Although it has only been a week, our experience so far has been overwhelmingly positive. We are grateful to the entire team at Ashton Meadows.
