My mum has been a resident of Ashton Grange since May this year - the third care facility since the start of her journey. Joseph and his team are simply the best! They totally understand the meaning of dementia care and every staff member is super lovely. The care my mum is receiving is second to none and we, as a family, can finally rest knowing that she is in very capable hands. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ashton Grange. I am grateful every day for the care my mum is receiving. They have a fabulous schedule of activities which residents are encouraged to take part in - including visits from outside entertainers. The staff simply can't do enough - even when mum is grouchy - they know it is the illness - not my mum and treat her with the utmost respect. A huge thank you to Joseph and his team from a relieved daughter and son!

In general the level of care my mum received is second to none. The staff really put the 'extra mile' in going the extra mile. They are kind, empathetic, so thoughtful & nothing is ever too much trouble.

From the day he arrived our friend loved Ashtonleigh, the care and attention has been excellent. His room is airy and the food first class. Every one of the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We attended the May Day celebration which was first class with great food, lots of entertainment and a great atmosphere.

Very friendly, clean, everything a home should be. I am only a visitor coming to see a very dear friend but cannot seem to fault anything, would have no problems in only not myself or family here.

So pleased that my special friend is in this lovely, caring home. This is the third home she has been in and by far the best. Staff are always very cheerful, the atmosphere is excellent, my friend doesn't seem sedated anymore and always seems happy. I visit another friend every week at another home, which is very expensive but nowhere as good as this one.

When we found this care home for my mum we were so happy. Everyone there works so hard to make the residents happy and they are all so well looked after. It's an amazing place. The staff are so friendly and if we have a problem always find time to help, it's a fantastic care home with fantastic staff.

Pleased to confirm although the building is old, well used, it performs to the best of its ability. Importantly, for our relative and ourselves, no bad smells in any of the areas.

The time that my mother was in the home was not easy to start with but as she and we got used to her being there she became happier and quite content. My father and I consider the staff to be angels who have hearts of gold.

I would like to thank the staff for the way I have been looked after, and the care I have received. I would not hesitate to recommend Ashtonleigh to any family and friends.

Everyone you meet are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.I am thrilled the way they look after Richard and I would recommend Ashton House to anyone.The clothes are washed very well and Richard always looks well turned out .They pick up his different modes well and cope with him with a smile .

Mum has been at Ashton House since June 2025 and I cannot praise the management and staff enough for their professional enthusiasm and care for all the residents, but especially my mum. Well done everybody.

All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Always smiling, I was dreading 'mum' going into Ashtonleigh, but I needn't have worried. Knowing she is well looked after has taken the weight off my mind. Thank you.

My uncle was admitted to the nursing home, but it was only for a few days unfortunately. But his time there was lovely. He was cared for so well and had a wonderful team of nurses looking after him. They were all very caring and so lovely, not just to my uncle, but to us all. They couldn't do enough for us, very attentive and helpful, and so supportive at a very sad time. We as a family just wish he had come to stay with you back last year when he had to go to a home, 100% things would have been so different; he would still be with us today.

Dad was transferred here for palliative care. The staff were beyond amazing, the care they provided and showed dad was exceptional from day 1. Everyone knew Dad's needs, especially as they changed along his final journey. I cannot fault them in any way. Plenty of staff on duty at all times, friendly, caring, helpful. All with a smile. 100% recommend Aston House - I have viewed a lot of homes, which are disgraceful. Well done to all at Ashton House.

Our relative has been at Ashton Grange about 3 months now. There has been a very positive change for the better since then. They appear much happier in themselves and with the care that they have received from the staff. They have been engaged in a number of activities that are laid on for them on a day-by-day basis. The staff appear to be very patient with the residents, and we are always made to feel welcome when we visit.

I must say a big thank you, for all the photos I received of Mum enjoying the activities.

My husband has settled in well. He enjoys the variety of activities on offer to residents and the food. The staff are always so pleasant.

We moved Mum here due to her previous carehome not giving her the individually tailored care she needed which resulted in Mum becoming more and more isolated, frightened and becoming aggressive as a result. The staff at Ashton Grange are wonderful and quickly recognised what Mum needed and how to approach her. She is now very settled, seems much happier and we know she is safe. Communication is excellent here and the management are keen to work with families to find out what works best for their loved one both in the care of them and to tailor activities to suit. The staff appear to work well as a team and provide a family atmosphere. So pleased we found them!
