He was very receptive and seemed content in the surroundings. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. He loved the food he was given. All in all, I felt very welcome, and he is clearly getting a very good experience here. Thank you. Tomorrow is his birthday, and they are baking a cake especially
for him.

Ashtonleigh is a lovely home. The staff are friendly and take excellent care of the residents. Today they brought a beautiful cake to my mother's birthday party and had set out a lovely table for tea. The atmosphere is of a warm and welcoming family. My mother is very happy there.

Placing a loved on into a care facility is never an easy decision and can be very stressful to all concerned.
The team at Ashton Grange have done a wonderful job in helping us all settle in the mums new way of life.

Every visit is like visiting an extended family. There are smiles everywhere and

nothing is ever too much trouble.

I am confident that she could not be in better hands.

Mum has been a resident of Ashton Grange since Q1 2019. It is a caring environment that provides the best support to residents and family. I have come to know the manager and the team well. It has been come clear that the level of care and support isn't superficial nor is it 'turned on at the flick
of a switch' in anticipation of a family visit. It is part of the culture.

Over the years I have been particularly impressed by the younger members of the team. They have been thoughtful and caring.

Geographically I am some distance from Ashton Grange and so I am unable to 'pop in' when passing by. It is therefore tremendously important that I have every confidence in the manager and his staff to ensure that Mum has the best possible quality of life.

My mum was at Ashton House for around 6 months, after having a stroke. I live in America and travelled back many times to be with her. The care she received was excellent and every nurse was compassionate and helped me be reassured about the medical care she was receiving when I couldn't be there.
I shall always be grateful that she was looked after by such amazing supportive staff. Thank you

Ashton Grange is a caring environment for my uncle who suffers with dementia. The staff are exemplary in their care and behaviour towards my uncle as a resident and equally towards us as his family. The home is always clean and welcoming the staff cheerful and kind . As a family we have every confidence
in the care my uncle is receiving at Ashton Grange.

My father spent 5 weeks at Ashton House as a respite care resident. The decoration and general appearance is not 5 star but the amazing staff definitely are. Always smiling! They went above and beyond to care for my dad. He improved so much in those 5 weeks. The home is very clean and the food was excellent.
My father and I cannot thank them enough.

First impressions on entering the building were very good. Staff all appeared to be smiling & friendly. I was offered refreshments immediately. I was offered a family meeting (by remote/video or face to face) very shortly after my sister was admitted. This is excellent practice as is the efficient telephone
and email support offered.

My husband has been at Ashton Grange for nearly two years, he has always received the best possible care that meet his needs,The staff are always very friendly towards me and other visitors.
He and all the other residents are treated like family members which comes across in how they treat the
residents.(as if it were their own family they were caring for)
The manager is always available to talk to if I have any concerns or suggestions that not only concern my husband but in general as well.
The Kitchen staff do a fantastic job and will make sure everyone has what they want to eat,
We booked the front lounge for my husbands birthday, so all the family could come and help him celebrate in one area, the room was decorated along with some drinks and sandwiches and they made a lovely birthday cake that they brought in with about 6 members of staff.
There are daily activities for all the residents with outside entertainers going in a couple of times in the month

I always find all the staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Most members of staff have time to sit and talk to Dad. Dad has been encouraged to join in activities and enjoyed. If there are any incidents with Dad I am notified straight away. I am pleased to know Dad is being well looked after
and staff are patient with him.

My mother has been in Ashtonleigh since August 2022. The staff are always friendly and support mum well as her health declines. They do their best to include her in the organised activities and make sure that she is out of bed as much as possible during the day. I also find that the contact I have
with the home is prompt and efficient.
