Maria very helpful fantastic service. Really friendly, easy access, very clean tidy. Lovely people i really recommend it. Staff are fantastic always willing to help. Couldn't praise them anymore. Enjoy my visits.
Thank you for your kind review. We will certainly share it with Maria and the rest of the team. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
The staff are all professional, kind, caring and helpful. The activities and facilities are very good.
Thank you for your review of the service and kind words. We are pleased to hear of the positive experience for your mum and yourself.
My sister is a returning customer. She spent five weeks at Kingston for rehabilitation following a fall and enjoyed the experience so much she has had two further short stays while her carer is away and to top up her rehabilitation. This works very well for her and she thoroughly enjoys her time at Kingston. She has made friends and tries a wide range of activities aside from the therapies that are on offer. The staff are kind and caring and my sister looks forward to seeing them on her return visits. We hope that Kingston can continue to be part of her support and care plan going forward. The family couldn't be happier with the arrangements.
Thank you very much for your kind words which we will share with our team. It is always a pleasure to have your relative with us and we look forward to next time.
I have been coming for physio after a hip replacement. The treatment has been very helpful and effective. All the staff at the centre have been kind and helpful. Excellent value for money. I will recommend it to friends for my rehab.
Thank you for your kind review, which we will share with the team. Wishing you all the best with your recovery.
Good service, hard-working team, efficient, willing to improve and change for the better, polite.
Thank you for your review of Kingston Rehab Centre, we are very grateful for the time that you have taken to complete this and will share with with our team.
I cannot praise this home highly enough. The service that my sister has received has exceeded our expectations. All of the staff, across all of the disciplines (housekeeping, nursing, therapy, care team, catering, admin, management) are all responsive and proactive. Staff are consistent, warm and person-centred in their approach. (Facilities given a lower score due to hyro not being available)
Thank you for your very kind review. We look forward to welcoming your sister and your family back at the end of the month.
As an ex-service social worker having visited many residential establishmnt for elderly people I have never been as impressed by any to the level of care, attitude and kindnes shown at Kingston R.C. All staff have demonstrated a professional level of care and attention to the needs of my sister in law, frequently lacking in residential care and rehab.
We will share this with the team.
If you or your sister in law require any further support please do get in touch.
The staff were welcoming and upbeat. The support for the client I visited was excellent.
Thank you for your kind review. We are so glad you felt welcomed to our service and we look forward to welcoming you again soon.
Our thanks to the whole rehab team at Kingston. I can also recommend the high quality speech and language therapy offered by the centre.
Thank you for your kind words, we will pass on your comments to the team, your feedback is very much valued. We will you and your mum all the best for the future.
At all levels from the managers to the nursing staff, every one was extremely helpful, and went out of their way to assist in any way they could. The main reason my wife was a resident was to receive physiotherapy, and the service she received in that respect was fantastic.
Thank you Andrew for your kind review, it was a pleasure having your wife with us. Thank you for choosing Kingston Rehab Centre. We wish you both all the best.
My family & I wanted to fulfil my dream of going to watch the British super bikes. After I had my stroke I'd completely written off ever going again. My brother in law said 'let's make it happen'! He got the BSB calendar up to find a meeting at Brands Hatch, the end of the month. We were already at the start. We looked at WAV hire, but it was too expensive! He looked at a price for a taxi. All hope was fading away. I suggested we went by train. My brother in law said it could be an option, but the track is in the middle of nowhere, the stations are miles away. We had exhausted all options, when I remembered that the home had a WAV. I told my brother in law that before we gave up all hope, I would email (due to the stroke, I physically can't speak) and ask if we could borrow it. We didn't have anything to lose. The worst they could do was say 'no'. To my surprise, it was ok. I got it insured and we were off. I was so grateful. Thanks to this home, dreams really do come true.
Thanks for your review. It is fabulous to hear and we are so happy that we could support you with this. Look forward to hearing about the next trip!
My brother has been at Kingston Rehab for months now. When discharged from hospital, he was in a sorry state both physically and mentally. Within a few weeks at Kingston Rehab he made significant progress in both aspects. It is a great relief to us, his family, knowing that he is safe, secure and is being well looked after by excellent staff and management. Only issue I can think of is that it can be difficult to get through on the phone to Kingston Rehab in order to get updates on his condition, as my brother is unable to speak.
Thank you for your kind words. I will share with the team.I have noted your comment that it can be difficult getting through to the Home for updates. We are looking into how we can improve this.
Thank God my relationship with the rehab centre has miraculously changed for the better and I am most grateful that I am at last being treated with dignity and respect - I feel that I am being listened to and this has reduced my stress and anxiety. Please keep me informed about my wife's health and welfare and kindly contact me immediately if any changes occur. The challenge is family relationships and meeting the faith aspirations of the husband with his wife's family. Thank you very much indeed for listening and supporting me.
Kingston Rehabilitation Centre truly goes above and beyond to make residents feel at home. The staff take time to understand each client and their families, listening closely to their needs to provide personalised care that really makes a difference. Every client is treated with dignity and respect. The on-site amenities, like the physio and film room, enhance clients' well-being and every space-whether it's a shared area or a private room-is kept spotless and inviting. Beyond providing excellent care, the team focuses on making each day enjoyable. No matter how busy things get, they're always willing to pause for a chat or organise fun activities like games and arts and crafts. This dedication to creating a vibrant community is something the residents often praise. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about each client's comfort, happiness, and overall well-being.
Thank you for your lovely review, I will pass this onto all of the staff. We really appreciate your visit to our home and spending time with our residents. It was a pleasure to host you and you are welcome back any time.
Very Welcoming. Friendly and approachable and caring and that is all members of staff. Lovely comfortable rooms with ensuite wet rooms. Nothing is too much trouble ~ everybody always goes above and beyond.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, I will pass this onto the team.
My partner stayed here for nine weeks after breaking his left femur. We really enjoyed the time we spent there. The staff especially the carers were brilliant as were the physio and occupational therapists. The room was very comfortable and quiet with a lovely view of the garden. This was just what he needed after a week in an NHS ward following his operation. His mobility has improved vastly from when he first arrived. He is taking much positivity from this now that he has returned home.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, I will pass this on to the team.
Some weeks ago I broke my left femur and spent some weeks in hospital. I then came here for almost two weeks and have had great care that was both therapeutic from physio nurses and physical care provided from all household staff.
Thank you for your lovely feedback; we will share this with our teams. We wish you all the very best!
My daughter arrived to Kingston Rehabilitation Centre November 2022 with complicated brain injuries. She was given 1.1 care with one member of care for two weeks, and due to this managed to adapt and most importantly feel safe. Within the last 18 months my daughter has achieved and exceeded her rehabilitation and mental health goals. The management support is open and the care from staff on all levels is extremely personable. My only slight issue is staff turnover within rehabilitation team, however staff re employed are always professional and caring. As a parent in an extremely vulnerable position I and my husband feel extremely blessed with the care KRC has given our daughter and most importantly appreciate the family environment KRC have. The nursing team are wonderful as are the care staff highly qualified. One irritation is that the GP is not always efficient.
Thank you so much for the lovely review. I will pass your feedback on to our team. It has been a pleasure and an honour to care for your daughter, and to witness her exceeding her goals. It has been a long journey for her and she should be very proud of what she has managed to achieve during her stay with us.
I found the staff amazing, always, and my walking came along so well when I was there. The work they did on my stair walking in particular made it so easy to transition to life at home. The physio team and their assistants were first class, look forward to seeing them all again.
Thank you very much for the lovely feedback. We are so glad you found your stay with us so beneficial and we wish you all the luck now you are home. Keep up the good work with the stairs!
I can't stress enough how much of a benefit it was to me to stay at a place like here. I was able to learn so much and they truly set you up with all the knowledge to head home and continue on your recovery.
Big thank you to all the staff, I couldn't recommend this place enough.
Thank you Owen for such wonderful feedback, we are so glad your stay with us was such a positive experience. It was a pleasure having you stay with us and we wish you all the best of luck in the future as you continue your rehabilitation.
