My uncle's recent move to Boclair Care Home has been an incredibly positive experience. The facility, resembling a beautifully styled show home, exudes warmth and comfort. The excellent amenities, from communal spaces to individual rooms, reflect a commitment to high standards. What truly sets this care home apart is the remarkable staff. The care manager and team have been sensitive to the emotional challenges of transitioning to a care home, ensuring a smooth process for my uncle. Their unwavering support and genuine dedication to residents' well-being create a reassuring atmosphere. Boclair is not just a facility; it's a compassionate home, providing exemplary care and enhancing the quality of life for its residents.
Thank you for your review and kind words. I will pass this on to the team. I am delighted to hear of your experience of the home.
I cannot sing the praises enough for Boclair staff and accommodation. Mum is very happy there.
Thank you for your kind words and review for Boclair Care Home. I am delighted to hear that your mum is happy within the care home and feels she is getting the best of care. I will pass on the feedback to the team.
My mum has been at Boclair Care Home for over a year now and is looked after by kind and genuinely caring staff. That's the most important thing, knowing she is safe with them. She is always neat and tidy and her room is immaculate.
Thank you for your kind words and review, I will pass this on to the team. It is great to hear about your mum's experience of the care home.
My mum went into Boclair Care Home as a respite user. She originally was scheduled to stay 2 weeks and has decided to stay longer, 6 weeks and counting. She was extremely nervous about the prospect of being a resident of a care home, however she has flourished under the care of the staff at Boclair. The staff are absolutely excellent and go to great lengths to provide individual care for each of the residents. All the staff members are extremely friendly, compassionate and professional. The environment has a fantastic fun atmosphere which has really helped my mum to find her mojo again. The care home is beautifully decorated and is a lovely environment to visit. It's a tribute to the manager and her amazing team for creating a fun, safe and caring environment. I am absolutely delighted I chose Boclair and I am more delighted that my mum is loving the experience.
Thank you for your kind words and review, we will pass your feedback on to the team at Boclair. I am delighted to hear that your mum has flourished within Boclair and loving the experience.
My husband has only been in Boclair Care Home since 28/11/2023 so it is early days and he is quite unsettled. However, the staff are giving him lots of attention and making allowances for his severe dementia. He is certainly receiving good care and lots of kindness from the excellent staff.
Thank you for taking the time to comment, we very much appreciate your feedback, our core principles are kindness and care. I will pass on to the staff and we will continue to work hard to ensure we can meet all needs. Many thanks, Maxine.
We were anxious when it was obvious that our mother needed to go into a care home. However, our fears have been completely allayed by the caring, friendly, professional staff at Boclair Care Home. Our mother has settled very quickly and couldn't be happier - continually commenting on how nice everyone is and even thanking us for choosing such a lovely 'new home' for her (which means the world to us). In addition, the location is great and the facilities are of the highest quality making it a lovely place to visit and spend time in. There are also plenty of activities on offer and our mother especially loves the music-based ones. We would like to express our gratitude to all those at Boclair Care Home in making this difficult transition as painless as possible.
Thank you for your kind words and review, we will pass the feedback on to the team. We are delighted that your mother has settled well into Boclair Care Home.
From the second my mum was welcomed into Boclair Care Home we knew she was in the correct care home for her. Caring, compassionate and friendly to residents and their relatives alike. We can't praise the staff highly enough. To a person they are all doing a great job and making it a home where residents have fun in a safe environment. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. My husband wants to move in for the steamed puddings and custard!
Thank you so much for your review, we appreciate your feedback and will pass it onto all staff. Many thanks.
She had exceptional care and the place was nicely presented and homely, I would often take my two children to visit and they would be quite happy. Highlights are the cafe where I would often grab a freshly ground cup and a cake to enjoy with Mum.
Six members of staff, in particular, pulled out the stops to make her last days truly happy. Including helping her to visit our house one last time, and loaning us the use of the lovely formal dining room for her birthday.
Mum liked to have her room door open all the time and there were never any problems, and she felt safe and secure there.
One thing I would add is that you are treated as a service user, and care for relatives is provided just as much, when mum was in hospital a member of staff would keep in contact and see how she was.
Thank you so much for the lovely review and for taking the time to write this at such a sad time for you and your family. We are delighted that we could make a difference for Mum and it was a privilege to care for Mum. We are so glad that we were able to give Mum the trip to your home despite the weather! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to look after you all.
My wife and I are really pleased with the way you are looking after our uncle. The staff are very good and take care of everything. The care home is exceptionally clean and tidy. Also, the security is very good.
Thank you for your kind words and review, we will pass this to the team. It’s our pleasure to support your uncle in Boclair Care Home.
Excellent care at all times. All staff are exemplary. I can relax knowing my husband is being well cared for.
Many thanks for the review, we really appreciate any feedback and will pass on to all staff. It is a pleasure to look after all our residents and families.
The excellent accommodation is very homely with a lovely garden area which we sat in. He loved the comfortable lounge across from his room and the cafe that we could go to on a daily basis. Unfortunately, he was not fit enough for the activities and was not very hungry. However, I tasted some meals when he was unable to make it to the lovely dining area and they were all delicious.
The staff became my family over the time he was there as they showed their kindness to me as well during his stay - if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. There was always a welcoming and warm atmosphere and positive interactions with all the staff.
Thank you to the manager and deputy manager and all at Boclair for taking such good care of him and ensuring his end of life was peaceful.
Thank you so much for the review, it was an absolute privilege to be part of the journey and have the opportunity to be able to care at what is probably the most important journey of all our lives. We only wish we could have spent more time getting to know you both but it also brings comfort that we have been able to deliver the best care we can. The feedback is very much appreciated. Thank you.
Her ailments have been well cared for and the staff has kept me up to date with any developments.
Thank you for your review, we will pass on your feedback to the team. It's great to hear we have impacting your friend's well-being.
First-class care. My mum has been here since August 2022 and I am extremely happy with every aspect - I feel she is loved as does she - the staff from reception, care workers, nurses and cleaning staff are superb, everyone knows who she is and what makes her happy, true person-centred care. The manager listens and takes on board any concerns and Mum calls Boclair her home and often says I have chosen well for her. Would recommend.
Thank you so much for your kind words and review we will share this feedback with the team. It’s our pleasure to support your mum at Boclair Care Home.
She has been made to feel very welcome and is encouraged to join in all activities.

Since my mother moved to Boclair in March she has received excellent care. Whenever she has had a medical issue, the nursing staff have been excellent. Whenever a member passes, they always say hello to my mother or engage with her. The staff are always willing to provide residents with tea/coffee whenever they wish. The staff care.
Thank you for your kind words, we will share this with the team. Its a pleasure to support your mother within the care home.
Staff are caring, patient and attentive to my Dad’s needs. They are all very helpful and pleasant and keep me informed about his health and well-being at all times. The food, facilities, his room, the garden etc are all excellent.

My uncle moved into Boclair Care Home in December 2022 relocating from the USA. The care my uncle receives is excellent, all staff are very helpful and really do care about their residents. They always keep us updated with any issues. When visiting, facilities are good and staff always have time for a chat. The reception staff are always pleasant and very helpful. The decor is like a 5-star hotel. We are happy that my uncle has settled in well and the care he receives is first-class.
Thank you for the review, we are really happy that the move from the USA went smoothly and Uncle has settled into Boclair. It is our privilege to have the opportunity to ensure he is comfortable and feels at home with us, Thank you.
As a family, we couldn't be happier with the care given to Mum. Every staff member provides such kindness and concern and makes Boclair a real home from home. It is a very happy and relaxed atmosphere and it is always a pleasure to come and visit and spend time chatting and drinking coffee! Nursing care is amazing.
Thank you for taking the time to review us, we are delighted to have the opportunity to look after 'Mum' and we will work hard to ensure that we continue to do so. Many thanks.
My sister has settled in well to Boclair from her own home in England thanks to the attentive care of all the staff. She is very well supported to continue an active life. The facilities are excellent too.
Thank you for taking the time to review us, Anne. It is a pleasure getting to know your sister and now that she is beginning to participate in activities she is great fun, we had a magician in this afternoon and we all loved it. Many thanks.
