Went to visit a dear friend who recently moved to Bradshaw Lodge - and I cannot begin to express how impressed I was! From the level of care shown by the staff, to the cleanliness and organisation of the whole place. I know she will feel truly happy and looked after there! I have had other friends who
have also joined care communities and after recently visiting them too - I can unequivocally say this is one of the best care homes I've seen!
Reply from Lynda French, General Manager at Bradshaw LodgeThat is wonderful to hear. Immaculately clean and a well presented home. A feeling of luxury, warmth and comfort. From what I saw it seemed like a 5 star care. The facilities and room seemed to provide a high level of care and attention to detail to ensure all the residents needs are met.

Whilst I was there I heard a saxophone

player who was entertaining residents in the lounge area. This sounded lovely and provided a relaxing atmosphere to the home as the sound carried around the building and to my friends room.

Very polite and friendly staff who were extremely attentive, maybe a little too many descending on me during my visit to ask me about my visit and friend!

Reply from Lynda French, General Manager at Bradshaw LodgeThank you so much for sharing your experience of your visit to us at Bradshaw Lodge. I am delighted to hear that you found us to be warm and caring and that your friend and the residents were being looked after to a high standard of care. The Saxophonists are very popular and will be returning as well as many other regular Acts and entertainers. I do hope you come and join in and visit us again soon. Kind Regards Lynda

been looked after so well, we feel very comfortable of her being here.

Bradshaw Lodge is a brand new place of care, the staff are all just lovely. Everyone has been so helpful and caring in settling our Auntie in. The rooms are decorated beautifully and kept very clean. Clothes are all labelled and laundered nicely. We are always welcomed to join for coffee or lunch and
the food is delicious, homecooked on site.
The staff are proactive with health/medical needs and it is such a relief that our Auntie is receiving great care - peace of mind for us is brilliant. Thankyou to all at Bradshaw Lodge.

Finding that extra special care home for a loved one can be a daunting experience. We viewed many homes and were so grateful to find Bradshaw lodge. The minute we entered and were greeted by the lovely, friendly staff, we knew instantly that we had found that special place. The level of care received
so far has been amazing. Walking in and hearing our lovely bubbly mum continuously happy and laughing is incredibly warming to us. The home is inviting, modern, warm and friendly, infact you wouldn't even realise it was a care home more like a 5* hotel. Mum is calm, content and often says she loves it there. She loves being pampered with all the included extras. The food is incredible. We are so grateful to the amazing team at Bradshaw lodge. Thank you.
Reply from Lynda French, General Manager at Bradshaw LodgeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. We understand how emotional and important the process of choosing a home for a loved one can be, so it truly means a great deal to hear and see how well mum is settling in.
Our aim is to create a warm, welcoming environment where the residents feel at home, safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for, and it is lovely to know this is coming through in your mum's experience. We are especially pleased that she is enjoying the meals, activities, and the personal touches.
Thank you again for your kind words - they mean the world to our whole team here at Bradshaw Lodge.
Warmest regards,
Bradshaw Lodge Management Team

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mother recently became a resident at Bradshaw Lodge (Bognor Regis) and last Monday (1st December) we paid our first visit to see her. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Chrissy Terry and were immediately impressed by the friendly assistance of all the staff. Bradshaw Lodge is extremely well
presented, very modern and has a homely atmosphere. We were anxious that my mother would settle but our fears were alleyed as soon as we saw her. She was thoroughly enjoying the personal attention, the excellent food and the cosiness of her room. We were offered lunch which was most enjoyable and were also shown the facilities available which again were excellent. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for making our visit so pleasant. We were extremely impressed with Bradshaw Lodge and left knowing my mother was in safe hands.
Reply from Lynda French, General Manager at Bradshaw LodgeDear Len Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. We are so delighted to hear and see that Mum has settled and you have been reassured following your visit that Mum is in safe hands and enjoying life at Bradshaw Lodge. I will pass on your thanks and encouraging words to the team. Kind Regards Lynda

Current Review Score: 10.0 (9.976)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.976) out of 10 for Bradshaw Lodge is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 26 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 26 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.976 for Bradshaw Lodge is calculated as follows: ( (285 Excellents x 5) + (7 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 292 Ratings = 4.976
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bradshaw Lodge is based on 26 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 66 registered maximum number of service users is 13.2, which has been reached with 26 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
