Byng House Care Home offers residential and nursing care for a variety of different needs including dementia, mental health conditions, old age, physical disabilities and sensory impairments. The home is open to adults of all ages.

Conveniently located on the Southport promenade, Byng House offers easy access for relatives or loved ones visiting by car or public transport. The home's central location also offers lots of opportunities for residents to get out and enjoy the sea air.

Inside the home, rooms are spacious and light, making the most of the lovely views. Residents can socialise in the large dining and living areas, or relax from the comfort of their own rooms, each with en suite facilities. There is also an outside area where residents can enjoy the fresh air if they would rather not venture outside or their health prevents them from doing so.

The home is run by a team of experienced care professionals who are committed to ensuring each residents' stay is as comfortable as possible, giving loved ones the reassurance that they are safe and living each day as happily as possible. Care plans are always designed in collaboration with relevant health professionals and centred around the resident's unique needs and requirements.

My father was cared for with compassion, kindness and clinical excellence. But the fact that will stay with me forever is how the staff cared for both him, my mum, and our whole family. My dad was in Byng House for three months before he passed, and the team felt like an extension of our family. They
care deeply about supporting all that are on the journey towards end of life. The manager provides inspiring, compassionate leadership that you can see in every member of staff. There are so many that touched our lives with their kindness and support.
My mum wanted to be a part of Dad's care team, and she was welcomed. Towards the end, she was provided with a bed in Dad's room and food and drink. She was looked after and felt truly cared for. The chefs, the domestic care and the office staff are stars alongside the nurses and carers. Byng House is special because of the staff; their kindness knows no limits.

Although my mother was only a resident at Byng House for a few weeks, before she passed away, the care she received was exceptional.
Mum was treated with dignity and kindness by everyone, from the day she arrived and after her death.
I was always made to feel welcome when visiting my mum and was kept
up to date with her condition and treatment each visit. Knowing my mother was comfortable and at peace when she died was a great comfort to me and my brother and I will always be grateful to the manager and her wonderful staff.

The building etc. are magnificent. The caring staff are 10/10. The rooms are clean and spacious. The Covid checks are perfect.

I'm truly indebted to the manager and her team, who provided excellent care for my grandmother during her last years of life. They were proactive, thoughtful and caring throughout. I felt her dignity and autonomy were really respected, and I had great peace of mind that she was always well looked after.
I really can't thank all the staff enough for their diligence.

From the minute I entered Byng House, I was treated with great care by all staff. The staff always made sure that all my needs were met, and I always felt very safe in Byng House.
The medical staff were very good, along with the care staff, cleaners, security and office staff could not be faulted
by me.
The matron, in my mind, runs a great house and was always available to see if one had a problem or query.
