The home has been recently refurbished and modernised to provide 18 single and 2 double bedrooms (some with en-suite), wet rooms, disabled toilets, 2 well-appointed lounges, an orangery and dining room - giving residents ample room to relax, take part in activities or watch TV.
All of the bedrooms have either an open countryside or a garden view -
ideal for those who like wide open spaces.
As part of the refurbishment and modernisation programme, a rehabilitation room has been created. This room is self-contained with a fully equipped wet room and kitchen area, enabling residents to keep their independence following an illness or hospital stay.
The fees for a single basic room start from £900 per week, this fee will depend on the dependencies of the individual, size of the room and the amenities within the room.

From the moment we went unannounced to have a look around we felt a very welcoming and positive atmosphere and knew that it was the right place for our mum. Her health has been quite turbulent since she came to stay but we know that she has been very well cared for and we have been kept informed and been involved with everything. All of the staff take great care with the residents and you can see that there's knowledge and genuine affection. There have been changes to the dining room which have been well designed for the comfort and benefit of everyone but it's the personal contact and interaction that make the difference. We try not to interfere with the daily running of things but nothing seems like too much trouble and everyone has been very helpful and always with a smile, offering help and suggestions that we were unaware of to improve our mum's stay.

Following a rapid and heartbreaking deterioration in his health, our 94 year old father spent the final 3 months of his life in Carseld. The understanding, care, empathy and support that all the staff provided, not only for dad but also for the whole family, was wonderful, especially during the final incredibly hard last month. Nothing was too much trouble. Led by Hannah and Katie, there is a real family feel where everyone is supportive and welcoming. Many members of our family were constant visitors and really appreciated being able to spend precious hours with dad whilst having the reassurance that he was well cared for when we could not be there. Mums smile and laugh was infectious especially when she was singing. She is a big part of the home and will be sadly missed by lots, residents staff and families too. There will be a big hole in Carseld without mum.

Good morning, Thank you for your review. Agency unfortunately has been used however the staffing team is now full- Agency will only be used for last minute short falls.
I visit most days to see my grandmother, the staff are brilliant and always super helpful. The rooms are always clean and tidy. The place is bright, the handyman has done a brilliant job of adding more colour to the place. The managers are brilliant managers, nothing is ever too much trouble to ask.
