Thank you so much for your kind review. It was an absolute pleasure to care for your mother, and we truly appreciate your thoughtful words.
Since taking over Eliza Palmer we have worked quickly to improve the service and made a substantial investment in a new kitchen, which was seen as the biggest priority by residents' families when we arrived. I am glad you have noticed an improvement in the meal quality and appreciate the quality of your bedroom suite. Our management team is always available and keen to listen to any suggestions for ways to improve our service and to take heed of things you believe we should be doing. We have a dedicated and passionate staff team and I must stress we have never been in the position of having only one carer working at night.
Thank you for your review and kind words. We are so glad to hear that you find these get-togethers useful and it really boosts our hardworking team to hear such lovely feedback! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences of the Eliza Palmer Hub.

I have lived in Walton with my family for over 30 years. Family is very important to me, I have a son, a daughter and a partner. I value a good work-life balance and enjoy reading, eating out with friends and spending time with loved ones. Caring for my father, who lived with Parkinson’s Disease was a deeply rewarding experience that reinforced my passion for providing person-centred care. This commitment led me to a career in adult social care, where I have worked for over 15 years. My vision for Eliza Palmer is to empower our team to continue delivering outstanding care, ensuring that every resident feels happy, valued, and achieves positive outcomes. I also look forward to strengthening our connections with the local community and making Eliza Palmer a true home for all who live here.
I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1990 and have worked in a variety of acute care settings. I have spent several years working as a Nurse Practitioner, and have worked at Eliza Palmer Care Home for 6 years, now I have progressed to Deputy Manager here. The best part of my job is having the opportunity to make a difference in the resident's quality of life.
Outside of work, I am happiest spending time with my family and friends, I also enjoy cooking and keeping fit.
I have been working in an administrative role for over 35 years, mainly involved in sales, marketing and project control services. I have enjoyed working in different countries with multinational teams and diverse cultures. In 2021, I joined the social care sector, working as a member of a care team and as a moving and handling trainer. As a meet and greet receptionist at Eliza Palmer, I enjoy creating a welcoming environment for our residents and their families.
In my free ti,me I enjoy walking in nature with my husband and travelling to spend time with our son who lives abroad.
After a career in Hospitality and catering, I joined the care sector during the challenging times of COVID in 2020. I realised that I really enjoyed being a carer and continued until joining Kingsley Healthcare in 2024 as activities coordinator, a role that I love. I feel that I make a real difference to the daily lives of our residents through planning regular activities as well as spending time with them on a one-to-one basis. Getting to know the residents is a delight, and I feel it is important to include them in the planning of our weekly activity programmes as well as consulting them on matters of the home through our resident representatives.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my 2 grown-up sons and friends. Cooking is a passion of mine, which is reflected in our regular cookery club activities. I also enjoy quizzing and keeping fit, also reflected in our activities.
I have worked in the care sector for 22 years, starting as a Registered Nurse in my home country of Cameroon. I joined Kingsley in 2016 as a registered home manager and subsequently progressed to Service Quality Manager. I love the culture at Kingsley which invests in and empowers its staff and supports career progression. Outside work, I am an author and write and do research about leadership and management.
I worked in hotel and restaurant management before switching to the care sector 14 years ago. Before joining Kingsley last year I had gained considerable experience in operations and regional roles. I love the fact that Kingsley is family orientated and everyone is very supportive. We all go above and beyond for our residents.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and my dog.
I have been a Registered General Nurse since 2001 and joined Kingsley in 2009. As well as my responsibilities as Regional Operations Director I am also Group Clinical Director. What I love about Kingsley is that the needs of our residents are always paramount and we are never limited in our ability to provide the required service. The company also offers staff great opportunities for career progression.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking and taking in a movie.
