Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My dad is the first resident here in this brand-new care home. The home itself is lovely, well-decorated, and equipped. Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room and a television. There is a large lounge and dining room. On the next floor, there is a cinema room.
The staff are all very friendly
and efficient. My dad is well looked after and cared for. The food is wonderful and my dad is eating well. Nothing is too much trouble. My dad loves it here.

Following an enquiry and tour of Harbour Manor with the Manager we picked it for our Dad who needed to be discharged from the hospital to a Care Home in a hurry. They assessed him and arranged his transportation very quickly and efficiently.
He was the first Resident at this brand new Care Home which
is like a luxury hotel, all of the staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble, he is well looked after and always treated with dignity. The food is of excellent quality and presentation. He is very happy there and can't say enough positive things about the staff and the Home. We couldn't have made a better choice. I would recommend Harbour Manor to everyone

Maxine has enjoyed a successful and rewarding career as a registered nurse for over 25 years. She spent 10 years working as a nurse in New Zealand, with six of those years dedicated to managing a service that provided live-in care for people living with dementia.


Upon returning to the UK in 2015, Maxine was determined to devote her experience and time to ensuring that loved ones living in care homes can continue to pursue their goals and dreams in a safe and caring environment.


Maxine is committed to continually improving the services provided to the residents of Harbour Manor and is dedicated to creating an ideal environment for staff, friends, and family alike.
