We have been super impressed with Harlow Hall and all the staff. We found ourselves in a tricky situation which required urgent respite care. With the help of lots of staff we were able to move mum in the same day. The rooms are lovely and light with great en-suite facilities. They offer a wide range
of activities to keep everyone occupied from gardening, exercise classes, music/singing, dancing, make and mend, cinema room. Every time someone pops in, mum is happy and safe. All the staff are friendly and approachable. If you need a care home would definitely recommend this one.
Reply from Lindsay Mahoney, Hospitality & Wellbeing Manager at Harlow HallThank you for taking the time to write this review. It is also wonderful to hear how happy you were with the facilities and activities on offer and that your mum is happy and as a family you could rest assured that she was being well cared for and supported. We will pass on your kind words to the Harlow Hall team.

Our mum has been attending day care and the many community events organised at Harlow Hall. She really enjoys the company and the activities. Mum likes the various speakers and entertainers who come to Harlow Hall, admittedly some more than others based on her musical taste. All the staff are very welcoming
and supportive to Mum and the whole family. They take mum's personal needs and preferences into consideration while providing professional and respectful care. After going to Harlow Hall for the activities and day care for several months, Mum is now looking forward to a holiday (respite care) there and is considering it for a long term home.

My mum and dad moved into Harlow Hall in March - they have own rooms very near each other. There have been bumpy moments along the way (and probably more to come) but the team at Harlow Hall have navigated them with care and kindness. The family have been kept informed about problems as and when they
have arisen. My parents seem happier and have settled in, and their quality of life is so much better than where they came from. Their rooms are lovely, and the facilities and activities are excellent. Thank you to the Harlow Hall team for the cheerful and respectful work you do.

My husband went into Harlow Hall in January 2025 for 2 weeks as I was going out of the country. The place was amazing, everything one could wish for and more. Lovely bedroom with en-suite bathroom. A movie room that was so comfortable and luxurious. Dinning area and lounge with 5 star facilities. But
the best of all was the staff, they were the" cherry on top", welcoming ,caring, and happy. I could not have asked for more.
Knowing that my husband was in such good hands enabled me to relax and enjoy my time away.
Not long after my return. We had an emergency situation which needed my hubby to be put into respite again.
Harlow Hall were great. They took him back without any problems and he stayed with them for a further week, making sure he felt very special and welcome. I can only recommend that if you are undecided about where to put a loved one that you visit Harlow Hall, they are the best.

Upon my first visit to this beautiful new home, I knew that my mother and the family would be happy with the decision to send her here.
The process of transferring my mother to the home from hospital was incredibly smooth thanks to regular communication, and updates from Harlow Hall.
Harlow Hall
is modern, clean, bright with a friendly team who add that personal touch.
My mother is looked after well with regular carers and carers understanding her needs.
She has flourished immensely since leaving hospital 6 months ago with weight gain, colour to her cheeks and general overall well being and mood improvement.
I can honestly say this was the best decision we have made and are delighted that she gets the care and support in this wonderful home which is local to the family.

Our mum moved here in oct 24
We were worried at first that she wouldn't settle .

But she settled reallly quickly
And has been loving it here and living her best life ever since .
We visited a few homes before this one and were feeling very flat as they were just not somewhere we wanted for

our mum ,,

But then we stumbled across Harlow hall
And what a gem it was. We are so happy we found it .

It's amazing and the staff work very hard
And are all very friendly
You can visit when ever you like and even sit with them at meal times which is a nice touch
Thankyou everyone

My grandmother moved into Harlow Hall in February after having a pretty terrible time of carers in her own home, and was very skeptical about moving into a care home. However, she hasn't looked back. She tells me she is treated like a Queen and they all work incredibly hard. Everyone she comes into
contact with treats her with kindness and dignity. She is so happy and she is no longer lonely as the staff regularly pop in her room to have a chat with her. The food is also really good. After months of half cooked frozen meals she now has delicious and healthy food.

Mum moved into Harlow Hall in March 2025. She has a lovely room - much like you'd find in a hotel. Very new and large en-suite wet room. Mum loves the shower! She has taken a little while to settle in - which was to be expected - and initially kept asking when she was going home. However, she does
now seem happy and it's lovely to see the photos that Harlow Hall post on social media with her smiling! I was particularly pleased that last week mum and another lady walked to the shops with a carer and did a bit of personal shopping. It was nice that she could do something '' normal' and feel independent. The staff are all lovely and mum is now making friends. It is a great weight off my shoulders as I feel she is being well cared for and is happy. Thank you everyone at Harlow Hall!

We are so pleased to have found Harlow Hall for
our elderly friend. She had been in hospital after having had a fall and was unable to go back to living on her own. She seems to have settled in well and enjoys taking part in some of the activities put on most days. It is lovely to see her happy and
looking so well. All the staff are friendly and happy to help out if we have any questions. We are fortunate to have found Harlow Hall for our friend and hope that she continues to enjoy life within this friendly community. Thank you to all for making this happen.

When my uncle needed full-time care, I felt guilty as I toured various homes, finding many unwelcoming. Initially, I dismissed Harlow Hall, thinking it was beyond our budget. However, I was pleasantly surprised by its affordability. Visiting the home, I found it exceeded my expectations, resembling
a five-star hotel with 24-hour care.
The admissions process was seamless and respectful, easing my concerns. Now, five weeks into his stay, my uncle is happily settling in, enjoying activities and companionship. Each visit feels like stepping into a warm, welcoming home.
I wholeheartedly recommend Harlow Hall for anyone seeking residential or dementia care for a loved one. It truly embodies care and compassion.

My dad is still quite new to Harlow Hall but seems to be settling in, all staff have been very welcoming and very friendly and always very polite. They have helped Dad to find friendship and the support and company that he was desperately looking for. The meals are plentiful and beautifully made with
snacks if wanted the home is warm and homely with plenty of space to wander around and Dad is now enjoying taking part in the many activities offered daily which is lovely to see. I have visited at different times of the day and have always seen staff sitting with residents chatting and supporting.

My cousin was discharged from hospital into Harlow Hall and the transition was handled very quickly and efficiently by the manager with very little input from us. All of the staff are very pleasant and helpful and have helped my cousin settle in very quickly, even if he is a little confused as to where
he is.
It's great to have the peace of mind knowing that he is safe and being well looked after in a nice light, airy and modern friendly environment.
I hope that he will soon have the confidence to join in with the many activities organised for the residents.

My father has been here since mid September and I can't tell you how happy we are. We know he's safe and well looked after. The staff care about the residents and are very helpful and know the residents really well. They have activities every day and the food always looks delicious.
For me, the best
bit of writing this review is that my dad has told me that he finds everyone very nice and says the food is lovely and we know he is safe and well looked after.
The facilities and decor are very modern, as they opened a year ago, and this is great for the residents - it's light and airy. Rooms are very well furnished, with fridge, wet room, bed is bigger than a single and apparently comfy, I'm told by my dad. The building is kept clean and always smells nice.

(1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 66 registered maximum number of service users is 13.2, which has been reached with 46 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

We are very excited by the brand new care home coming to the heart of Aldershot in Summer 2023. It's the first care home to come to Aldershot since 2016, and, with such a central location, we're aiming to play an important role within the local community. As with all our homes, the main objective at Aldershot will be enabling our residents to live their lives to the fullest, carrying on with the interests they love, dining on exquisite meals, and spending time with friends and family.
