Over all time Harlow Hall has 68 reviews.
The amenities are great, cinema room, cafe/bar, salon and garden everything she could wish for. My family and I now feel she is safe and looked after which is all we ask for.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It is wonderful to hear that your mum is happy and settled at Harlow Hall and is enjoying and making use of all the amenities. We are also really happy to know that, as a family, you can rest assured that your mum is safe, happy and well cared for. We will pass on your kind words to the team at Harlow Hall.
My dad is still quite new to Harlow Hall but seems to be settling in, all staff have been very welcoming and very friendly and always very polite. They have helped Dad to find friendship and the support and company that he was desperately looking for. The meals are plentiful and beautifully made with snacks if wanted the home is warm and homely with plenty of space to wander around and Dad is now enjoying taking part in the many activities offered daily which is lovely to see. I have visited at different times of the day and have always seen staff sitting with residents chatting and supporting.

The facilities are excellent, it's like a 5 star hotel.
Mum and dad love the food and enjoy joining in with all the different activities that are put on.
The staff are so lovely they can't do enough for them, nothing is to much trouble.

Mum moved to Harlow Hall four weeks ago and has settled in very quickly. The staff are helpful and kind and the home is modern, spacious and very well designed. The food is excellent and there is a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with lots going on. The large carpark and flexible visiting times make it easy for mum's family and friends to visit. Mum is very happy at Harlow Hall.

The move into Harlow Hall went very well. My partner seems settled and happy. The manager and all the staff are very nice and helpful. I do feel the laundering could do with a bit more care. Harlow Hall is a very nice environment, very bright and cheerful.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It is great to hear how settled and happy your partner is at Harlow Hall and that you are finding the staff friendly and helpful. We will pass on these kind words to the team and will look into the laundry situation and find a solution to make this better.
For me, the best bit of writing this review is that my dad has told me that he finds everyone very nice and says the food is lovely and we know he is safe and well looked after.
The facilities and decor are very modern, as they opened a year ago, and this is great for the residents - it's light and airy. Rooms are very well furnished, with fridge, wet room, bed is bigger than a single and apparently comfy, I'm told by my dad. The building is kept clean and always smells nice.
Thank you for taking the time to write these lovely words. It is great to hear how happy your dad is and that he feels supported by the team at Harlow Hall and he is especially enjoying the homecooked meals the chef prepares and the comfy beds! It is also lovely to hear how, as a family, you can...

My mother is extremely happy at Harlow Hall. It has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are always things going on. Today was a summer fun day. Lots of people visiting and staff staying after shift finished. Bouncy castle for children, a singer and barbeque. A lovely day all around.
Thank you for these kind words. It is great to hear how happy your mother is at Harlow Hall and you are happy with the care and support offered by the helpful, friendly team. We are pleased that your mother, and you, enjoyed the activities provided and had fun at the summer fun day. Thank you for taking the time to write this review and your kind words will be passed on to the team at Harlow Hall.
Cannot praise Harlow Hall enough for making my friends transition into the home for a day a week so easy and comforting. The lady showed my mother-in-law and myself around, what a great home, clean and comfortable full of amenities, even a film room. My friend has settled well, this is down to the kind and pleasant staff. They are very caring and professional. He has got to know his surroundings and the staff now and goes to the home every week without an issue. This was a great concern for us as he never does anything without his wife. This has been a great respite for his wife and has made it easier to cope the rest of the week with him, he has Alzheimer's and forgets who she is and how to process things. Again I cannot praise Harlow Hall enough for their care and the welcome they gave to him.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It is wonderful to hear how your friend is enjoying his visits to Harlow Hall and that the transition to do this was made so much easier by the team. We are pleased that his wife can rest assured that her husband is settling in well and she is...
Very happy here, nothing more to say.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It is wonderful to hear how happy you are at Harlow Hall and we will pass on these kind words to the team.
We have been concerned about staffing levels at times and cleaning of the resident's bedroom/en suite bathrooms and laundering of clothes is poor. Despite names on clothing, my mother is often in other residents' clothing and vice versa. Clothing is often creased and un-ironed. This upsets us as a family as my mother took great pride in her appearance and we know she would be upset.
Food is on the whole excellent when the full-time chef is working.
The activities member of staff is excellent and obviously cares for the wellbeing of all the residents depending on their abilities in a very professional manner. She often takes time to paint my mother's nails which I know Mum loves. Care overall is satisfactory.
At Hartford Care we welcome feedback so thank you for taking the time to write this review. We will pass on your kind words to the activities coordinator and chef at Harlow Hall who we are sure will be happy to hear them. With regards to your other points, we understand there has been an appointment made to meet with the manager so your concerns can be discussed.
Beautiful home, with very friendly staff, very welcoming environment and great facilities. Everywhere is kept to a very high standard and my husband enjoyed his first visit there telling me how good the food was. Overall excellent.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. At Harlow Hall we are pleased to hear how happy you are with the facilities, that the team are friendly and welcoming and how your husband enjoyed his first visit. We will pass on these kind words to all the team at Harlow Hall.
Harlow Hall, in terms of facilities and compared with care homes in the immediate area is ahead by miles. The cinema, sky bar and multiple-use spaces are impressive and well-utilised.
After some adjustment, my nan is thriving, she is well, healthy, relaxed and happy. She values her large clean room and to date still talks about the fact that she has her own en suite bathroom.
The manager, deputy and reception manager are approachable, friendly and more importantly, they know what they are doing! They proactively seek support for Nan as and when she needs it.
The newly appointed activities coordinator has begun to secure regular activities and entertainment, which is enjoyed by all. It will be good to see Harlow Hall offer their residents trips out, and I appreciate that this may come into fruition as more residents arrive.
Thank you for these kind words. We are pleased to hear how settled your Nan is at Harlow Hall and that she is thriving, relaxed, happy and enjoying the wonderful facilities, especially her en suite bathroom. It's nice to know that the activities programme is enjoyed and with the extra new minibuses...
The carers are sometimes left to serve the food.
The entrance and exit are rarely staffed, and visitors have to find a member of staff to let them out or wait for them to answer the door to get access.
Thank you for your feedback; it helps us to continuously improve the service we offer. At Harlow Hall, we have a variety of meals on offer within our four weekly seasonal menus, including vegetarian options and alternatives, snacks, and all-day refreshments in addition to this, a menu which is...
Thank you.
Thank you very much for your review. Your kind words will be passed on to the manager and staff at Harlow Hall.
It's beautiful inside, the bedroom had never been stayed in, and as such there were some key items not set up and ready for her arrival, but these were swiftly sorted.
The staff I met were great, special shout out to one staff member who's fab at his job and my mum is particularly difficult!
I don't think there were many activities going on, due to it being so new and I think only 7 or so residents were there when she stayed, so not many staff were needed. I'd like to come back once it's really underway as the facilities have the potential to be amazing.
My mum was in respite there for 2 weeks, I did get asked when I would visit her which I hadn't planned on doing as it was also my respite, they let her call me, this was a bit stressful because she just wanted me to come and get her, so some better distraction techniques would be great.
That all said, I'd definitely come back!
Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that you are pleased with the facilities and staff at Harlow Hall and that any issues were ironed out very quickly. The activities schedule is in process and will be in full swing very soon. We look forward to seeing you again.
It's a pleasure to visit as well, very hard-working and friendly team.
Everything is so clean, looks and smells great.
Thank you all.
We are so pleased you are happy with the level of care provided to your mum and how much it has put your mind at ease. We are grateful for your kind comments about the home and our hard-working team; we will ensure these comments are passed on to the whole team. Thanks again.
Comfortable room. Modern facilities. The communal areas were very nice. Limited outside space. Staff excellent. As there were only eight residents during my two-week stay, facilities were somewhat limited. Also, the food choice was a little limited. As the number of residents increases I am sure this will much improve.
We are pleased you had a pleasant stay with us. Your feedback is important to us, and we take on board your comments regarding the limited facilities and food choices at the point of your stay. We are constantly reviewing our offerings and tailoring our activities and food choices to ensure all...
All of the residents are well looked after by the wonderful orange and red tops.
Nothing it too much trouble for them.
Thank you for your review; we are so pleased you are happy with the level of care your mother is receiving. We shall pass your comments on to the team at Harlow Hall.

As with all our homes, the main objective at Aldershot will be enabling our residents to live their lives to the fullest, carrying on with the interests they love, dining on exquisite meals, and spending time with friends and family.
