Harrier Grange is an excellent care home with a superb team who work their socks off to please all of the residents. No complaints from me for the way they looked after Dad for nearly 5 years. Top marks!

I regularly take a client to visit her husband, who lives on the top floor. Weather permitting, we take him out the staff always have him ready for us, he is appropriately dressed for the weather and always looks happy and well looked after. All staff are exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Having worked in a nursing home environment for 30 years I know how important it is to have wonderful staff members like this!

My mother was admitted to Harrier Grange on February 11th 2020 and sadly passed away on 9th January 2024. During her time at Harrier Grange, she received professional care during the particularly difficult Covid period. This care has remained a constant throughout her time and I believe this is why she lived so long.
From front of house, housekeeping and the care staff, who are exceptional, you are made to feel welcome, which is equally as important as the care given to your loved one.
At the time of my mother's passing, the staff were there for her as well as me. I cannot recommend Harrier Grange highly enough. I was a nurse myself and have seen various homes as a visitor and my experience allows me to comment from a professional point of view.

I would highly recommend Harrier Grange for their professionalism, loving care, high standard of housekeeping and comfortable accommodation.

I cannot praise the Harrier Grange highly enough. Their level of kindness and understanding of their residents is magnificent! Carers on all floors are wonderful. My father was looked after by nurses and their team of carers was excellent. His needs were various and were met with understanding and compassion. Sadly, my father passed away the day before his birthday, but all members of staff, from the lady on reception and management to myself and my family, were fantastic, for which I am enormously thankful.

I can't praise Harrier Grange's Care Home enough. My mum has been there just over one year. Everyone there is so caring and helpful. Mum just celebrated her 100 birthday celebrations there. They made it so special for her and all her family.
Wish every care home could be as good as this one.
It's a big worry when a loved one needs to go into care, but Mum loves it there and takes part in lots of the activities that they put on regularly.
It takes away a lot of worry from her family. She is well looked after.

Thank you.

The level of care that she has received throughout this time has been exceptional.

Having made the very difficult decision to put mum in a care home we are so pleased with how well she has settled in. The carers and nurses are lovely to mum and I feel confident they are looking after her very well. They are very friendly with us and regularly update us on mum's progress. The management/admin staff are also very approachable and helpful.

My parents-in-law are both residents at Harrier Grange Care Home and have been since February and March 2023. I cannot fault the care that they are receiving. My father-in-law has dementia and he is the happiest I have seen him in a long time. He joins in all the activities and is always smiling, and he feels loved and cared for. The staff are so intuitive and caring that I have no concerns at all. Harrier Grange is very smart, clean and a very happy place to visit, you are always greeted with smiles and receive a cheery welcome from all of the staff.

I cannot fault the Harrier Grange team who have gone out of their way to welcome and support my parents. Nothing is too much trouble and every effort is made to spend time with them and to accommodate their wishes. The activities which are laid on each day are fun, challenging, wide-ranging and expertly led, and having a cinema and hairdressing salon on site also adds positively to the ambience of the home. I would heartily recommend Harrier Grange Care Home to anyone!

My mum was a resident at Harrier Grange Care Home for just over a year. In that time she was extremely well looked after by caring and professional staff all of whom treated her with kindness and dignity. The home is well run and well maintained and the management team take time to listen to concerns from both residents and relatives and take action to improve. When I visited I was always made to feel welcome by everyone I encountered and everyone was always cheerful and enthusiastic about their work.
Sadly Mum passed away at the end of February but the team at Harrier Grange did everything they could to make her last few days as comfortable as possible and we were able to visit her without any restrictions.

Moving Mum into a home was such a difficult decision but Harrier Grange was 110% the best choice I could have made. I always knew that she was safe and well cared for and have no hesitation in recommending this care home to other families having to make the same decision.

I highly recommend this care home. My Mum was a resident for four and a half years, she enjoyed the company of the other residents, the varied activities and the entertainment. As her health gradually deteriorated, we always felt we were kept well informed and Mum was cared for with compassion and respect. The whole Harrier Grange team is exceptional and we definitely feel we made the right choice placing our Mum into their care.

My mother moved to Harrier Grange over six months ago. It is clean, modern and spacious. The home is very well run by the friendly manager and deputy, that take the time to listen and act on concerns. I felt that Mum was very well looked after by professional, kind and caring staff that treated her with such dignity. The food was good, and the room looked out on nice grounds. Unfortunately, Mum died a few days ago, but everyone there went out of their way to make her last few days as comfortable and calm as possible, as well as allowing the family unrestricted visiting, making us most welcome and providing us with emotional support as well. I can look back on her time at Harrier without regret and knowing everybody did their best for Mum. Consequently, I have no hesitation in recommending Harrier Grange to other families.

I have just had an amazing visit to see my mum in Harrier Grange Care Home. It was so wonderful to see her settled and more content. The staff have worked really hard to settle her into her new accommodation and it was obvious that she is so well cared for. Her clothes are clean and coordinated, just how she used to look and she looks really well. The staff on every occasion have been caring and respectful right throughout the whole team. The room is bright and airy and has all her personal things around her. I can’t praise the staff highly enough, the management and the whole team. I feel well informed and updated on her progress and would like to thank every member of Harrier Grange Care Home for the wonderful care they give her and for keeping me in the loop at every stage.
