Overall Experience

Mum was taken to Hartshill Care Home from hospital for rehab and assessment. First impression was that it was a peaceful environment and very welcoming. After a three-week stay, it was decided that Mum would become a permanent resident at the home. I was confident that Mum would be well looked after and cared for. All staff are very caring, attentive and treat all residents with dignity and respect. Management have also been very helpful and supportive through this transition. Thank you to all management and staff.

Overall Experience

Hartshill Care Home is an immaculately clean modern spacious care home overlooking beautiful countryside. The rooms are spacious and bright with lovely views. Dad who has vascular dementia walked in, sat in the lovely lounge and was instantly made to feel at home. The staff were very attentive, caring and reassuring. In fact at dad's beck and call! He was given a menu on his arrival and staff helped him choose his dinner from a range of scrumptious meals. As we left dad was all smiles talking to the ladies and looked so comfortable that we felt reassured for the two weeks' respite he would be well cared for. The manager was equally caring assuring and informative to us. On arriving today to collect dad, he was immaculately dressed and cleanly shaven and had been playing dominoes with the staff! He didn't seem in any hurry to leave! We have complete and total trust in Hartshill Care Home and its staff. The care and respect shown to dad was truly exceptional.
