After visiting several care homes for my parents, I can say with confidence, Hutton Mannor outshines every other home I visited. All the staff are so lovely and friendly. Hopefully, when Covid restriction is relaxed, visiting will be easier.
All in all, 5-stars.

I would not recommend this care home to anyone who’s relative has challenging dementia. Dad was asked to leave this home after three days, due to their negligence. They constantly phoned me with negative comments about my dad, which most were untrue. The manager refused to take calls from me, instead
delegated her deputy who was very kind. It is a lovely looking home but in my opinion, they are not equipped to look after anyone who has challenging behaviour. I got zero support from them at what was the most upsetting time possible for us, as a family. Research this home and management as thoroughly as you can before you choose to place your loved one with them.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the behaviours presented on admission and throughout it was very clear a more specialised environment was required for your father. Ensuring the wellbeing of all residents is paramount and I have a duty of care to ensure all residents and staff are safe. I understand this was disappointing for you to hear as initially your wishes were for your father to continue to reside at the home. Regarding the phone calls, you say were always negative we have to inform relatives of any changes regarding their loved one’s care needs. Not at any point did I refuse to take calls from yourself. I have a deputy Manager to support me at the home who has also had discussions with yourself. We support residents with various behaviours but unfortunately if those behaviours escalate to the point of putting themselves and others at risk then a more suitable placement may be required. I would welcome anyone who wishes to research the home to do so.

It is always a sad and worrying time when you have to make the decision to put a loved one into care. Even more so as the day after my Mum went in, we went straight into lockdown. The staff at Hutton Manor are amazing. They are supportive of any concerns and went above and beyond to let us see Mum at
a distance during the lockdown. We saw Mum twice through the patio and spoke over the phone. Mum always looked settled and happy when we saw her on the web site photos. Because of Mum's Alzheimer's / Dementia, she does not fully understand why we can't see her but it seems the staff are constantly reminding Mum of the situation. They have put on some lovely activities throughout this difficult time and I praise them highly for that. I am looking forward to the time I can see Mum properly again to give her a hug, as I went from seeing her every day to just those couple of distant visits. If it meant it kept the residents and staff safe it was worth it. Such a lovely place I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I visited by way of seeing my friend. I was greeted by the manager who directed me to her. I came into the lounge. What a lovely space. this was, decorated in cream and turquoise. Everything was very tasteful. Through an archway, it leads you into an area to have a drink from a bar. I was invited to
the dining room after being invited to stay for lunch. The tables were set with white covers and napkins and set for starter, main course and sweet. It was like a five-star hotel what I saw. The staff was attentive. I wish I could have a place there.

My father was one of the first temporary residents to go into the oh so beautiful Hutton Manor. In his own words, he said it was unfortunate that he was only in for four weeks respite. He loved everything about his stay and wishes to go back in permanently at a later date. The home and staff are just
wonderful. Would most certainly recommend.

Yesterday I visited my friend and it was lovely to see my friend, all the residents and staff involved in such a positive activity. Music and memories, I think it was called.
All the staff and the manager were really involved and attentive, encouraging everyone to get involved, singalong and play musical
instruments.
I would really recommend this beautiful home with such caring staff, to anyone looking in the Pudsey/Calverly area of West Yorkshire.

My parents are currently staying at Hutton Manor. It’s their first time in a care home and they didn’t have the chance to visit before their stay, so were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It is beautifully decorated, all the rooms are light airy and very comfortably furnished. The staff have
been wonderful providing care, support and reassurance to my parents to help them settle. It feels very personal and they are doing everything they can to help them feel at home. They have also been very kind to me too and I am made to feel very welcome when I visit. My parents are enjoying the food, love their rooms, they speak highly of the staff and feel very spoilt in the luxurious surroundings. They have only been there a short time but based on their experience so far I can highly recommend Hutton Manor.
