Having visited many care homes previously, this is home goes above and beyond with everything, even the car park.
The greeting you receive when you arrive, always smiling happy.
Big open areas, floor to ceiling windows and doors, so many activities varying day to day.
the luxurious soft furnishings,
the dining room all white table cloths with polished cutlery, with plenty of room at the table, ( not squashed in) looking out into the garden
All food is cooked fresh on the premises,
The laundry is also done in house, hair and beauty room, a lounge area for visiting family and friends Every theme day is catered for, remembrance, St George, Yorkshire etc.
I can't say enough positives, and haven't found anything negative.
The care, compassion, respect, support and professionalism is a credit to all involved in caring for my friend
I laugh with the staff and say I'm going to book myself in.
It's the best I've seen.

We have just moved my mum in law into the Lincoln Manor and we are very impressed. From the first visit 8 weeks ago, the manager has been fantastic and super helpful. My mother in law commented that she feels she is in a 5 star hotel! The staff seem to all genuinely care and the planned games and
activities are varied and look brilliant. Nothing has been too much trouble. Her room is very spacious and all the furniture is top quality. This is the standard she deserves at this stage of her life and I am very happy that the Lincoln Manor had availability. Thank you.

My mother has a lovely room & bathroom, which is kept clean & tidy for her. The care given by EVERY member of staff is incredibly cheerful, helpful, polite & very caring (from management to domestic). The food is fresh, appetising & nutritious. Strict security levels are observed at all times. All staff
are polite to visitors and nothing seems too much trouble for them (all of them). The management team answer all questions and are an enormous help to nervous newcomers & their families

The 5 stars applies to over a year my mother in law has been living at Castle Grange. She is 94 and has dementia, we are delighted that we found Castle Grange.
Their standard of care is first class;
The food is of high standard
The activities are well organised and on a daily basis
The decor is
very tasteful and smart
The cleanliness of the rooms and public areas is again of a high standard

I like the way the staff speak to the residents, always time to listen, patient, kind and caring, likewise with visiting families.

It is such a relief to have found such a wonderful place for my mother-in-law.

My father-in-law has been at this home since it opened in February. He has always been very well looked after by staff members, who make up a friendly, caring and compassionate team, led by a committed manager with high expectations of the standard of care, and residents' wellbeing and independence.
We were particularly grateful when the manager and another member of staff recently went out of their way to transport my father-in-law home from our daughter's wedding as he did not want to stay to the end. Unfortunately he was taken ill at the event and the manager started to organise appropriate medical support before even getting back to the home, which meant my father-in-law received medical attention quickly. This is just one example of how staff go above and beyond to look after their residents' needs. Thank you all.

It was a special birthday for my husband yesterday (90 years) and I felt lonely, visiting alone, but come afternoon, happy smiling staff brought balloons and a chocolate cake

For our family, the most important quality in any form of dementia care is kindness. Whether my mum is engaging with someone cleaning her room, or getting her dressed, she is constantly telling me that everyone is very kind. Within a week or two, everyone knew her name (and mine) which was very reassuring.
The senior nurses are very professional and helpful and have a deep understanding of dementia. Paramedics visit every week and a Pharmacist calls to discuss changes in medication - these services are excellent. They are two individuals in charge of activities who have endless enthusiasm, recently introducing a series of raised containers for vegetables and some flowers. The home dog is loved by all. A suggestion for improvement, is that there should be access to a minibus for outings. This would be a very important addition to the mental well-being of residents who call St Marys their home.

Since my mum moved into Castle Grange Care Home, she has been made to feel welcome, and most importantly, feel safe. All the staff do a great job, from taking her to activities like gardening to getting her the countless cups of tea she asks for. Everywhere is lovely and clean. Communication between
the care home and me is brilliant, and I always feel welcome on my visits to my mum, by all of the staff. As her son, I can now relax when I am not with her, as I know she is in good hands, getting the care she needs.

My mum is 87 with early stages of dementia and had to be relocated to Hutton Manor over 6 weeks ago, having looked at other numerous care homes. From day one, two staff members in particular were and are brilliant with great communication and support.
From our first day to moving my mum in, all the
staff were so accommodating, supportive and understanding and continue with attentive support and care for my mum. This place is brilliant, more like a hotel! All staff are there for the care of the residents, patient, experienced and understanding with all the residents. Mum's room is lovely, spacious and beautiful decorated, overlooking the car park. We put a phone line in so that my mum had a private phone in her bedroom which was definitely needed.
I would definitely recommend Hutton Manor. They have made mum very comfortable and really helped reassure me as it was a terrible experience moving her. We consider ourselves to be very, very lucky to have found such a great place for her. Wow!
