I would like to thank the wonderful team at Shipley manor for always taking such great care of my grandmother. She has always been looked after with great kindness and compassion and it bring us so much joy to know she is in such good hands. I am especially grateful to one staff member who recently
went above and beyond to ensure my grandmother was able to attend my daughters christening, making a very speal occasion even more meaningful for our family.

The care my dad received in the last few weeks was above and beyond. They gave me a room to stay in so I was near my dad.
They treated him with dignity, respect, and 100% care.
They also took care of my while I was there, nothing was to much trouble.

Mum stayed for a week's respite care, prior to deciding to move in - a really positive experience for us as a family. The manager was very thorough in ensuring all details regarding mum's needs were recorded & planned for prior to the stay. The rooms and all communal spaces were lovely and bright with
excellent facilities. Mum settled well into her room, I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff - there were always several staff around on each floor to give an update on how she was doing. Mum really enjoyed the activities, she likes walking and staff accompanied her on several walks to the nearby park / common, she enjoyed the daily exercise class - we were delighted her needs to keep active & busy were met, she also enjoyed the music/ singing activities. Night staff were responsive & kind when settling her if she woke up at night. The food served by the chef looked lovely. We were confident that mum was safe & well looked after, she is looking forward to moving in.

I would highly recommend Hutton Manor to anybody who is looking for a care home. I knew the minute that I walked in the home that is was the one, my mum said this as well. My grandma is so well cared for, we used to be worried sick about her, but we know that she is safe and that the staff go above
and beyond for her. Her room is gorgeous, and the home is beautiful. The main thing, though, is the staff. They make us feel very welcome, and Grandma loves them all. Thank you to everyone.

We discovered Castle Grange by chance but from the first look round to assess for mum we were impressed. The staff were friendly, helpful & the room available was lovely, the patio doors to her own garden space perfect as she likes quiet time. The transition to the doctors the home uses was quick &
we are reassured she has help when needed. Having mum so well cared for has allowed myself & the family to trust she is safe, warm, supported & she is eating well so we can visit & enjoy a cuppa with her.

I did my homework to find the perfect home for mum and absolutely found it. The staff are amazing...they are happy, full of fun, a close team who really care...evident as soon as you walk in the lovely immaculate building which has the freshness of a hotel rather than a home.
It amazes me how the staff
are always giving 100% in what is clearly a difficult emotional and taxing job to do.
It is an agonising decision to move your loved one out of their home when you know it's the right thing to do so it's so important you get it right.
I absolutely did !

Castle Grange is purpose built, beautifully furnished and extremely well kept. I couldn't have found a better place for my mother to live.
However it is the staff at all levels - administration, domestic, catering, care and management, who make CG outstanding. Residents are treated with warmth, compassion
and respect. The staff know the individuals by name, know their individual needs and foibles, and are ready with a hug when needed.
I wish that second floor residents were able to be included in the various activities more frequently, however appreciate that individual needs in this regard are especially demanding and that this is not always possible to achieve without significant disruption to staffing requirements etc.

I moved my mum into St Mary's Lodge in January following the loss of my step father. They had had a live-in carer but it became too difficult for her to remain at home without her "rock". I visited several care homes before choosing St Mary's Lodge because my mother suffers from both vascular dementia
and severe mobility problems. Within days mum kept repeating that she couldn't be in a nicer place. She loves her room and the staff are all just so friendly. When I compare her care situation to my friends' parents it's clear that she and I are very fortunate to have found a room at the Lodge. Mum's happier than she has been for while and I know that she's getting the best care possible. A huge thank you to all the care team!

My mum has been a resident at Castle Grange care home for almost a year, after a major fall and admission to hospital for surgery. It was a relief to find Castle Grange were able to take care of mum and enable her to have excellent care, after the traumatic time in hospital. The staff are excellent,
very caring and hard working and mum has settled in and is comfortable and making friends. The home is well run, spotlessy clean and nothing is too much trouble. Living so far away, it is a weight off my mind knowing that mum is receiving a high quality of care, is safe and content.

Having visited many care homes previously, this is home goes above and beyond with everything, even the car park.
The greeting you receive when you arrive, always smiling happy.
Big open areas, floor to ceiling windows and doors, so many activities varying day to day.
the luxurious soft furnishings,
the dining room all white table cloths with polished cutlery, with plenty of room at the table, ( not squashed in) looking out into the garden
All food is cooked fresh on the premises,
The laundry is also done in house, hair and beauty room, a lounge area for visiting family and friends Every theme day is catered for, remembrance, St George, Yorkshire etc.
I can't say enough positives, and haven't found anything negative.
The care, compassion, respect, support and professionalism is a credit to all involved in caring for my friend
I laugh with the staff and say I'm going to book myself in.
It's the best I've seen.

We have just moved my mum in law into the Lincoln Manor and we are very impressed. From the first visit 8 weeks ago, the manager has been fantastic and super helpful. My mother in law commented that she feels she is in a 5 star hotel! The staff seem to all genuinely care and the planned games and

The 5 stars applies to over a year my mother in law has been living at Castle Grange. She is 94 and has dementia, we are delighted that we found Castle Grange.
Their standard of care is first class;
The food is of high standard
The activities are well organised and on a daily basis
The decor is
very tasteful and smart
The cleanliness of the rooms and public areas is again of a high standard

I like the way the staff speak to the residents, always time to listen, patient, kind and caring, likewise with visiting families.

It is such a relief to have found such a wonderful place for my mother-in-law.
