My 97 year old mum was placed here 6 weeks ago after being very ill with pneumonia and in hospital for quite a while. The home is fantastic in every way possible. The staff always have a smile on their face and are very welcoming. Obviously very happy in their work. The decor, the care given, the food and activity arranged every day are all really well thought out and put together. My mum absolutely loves it and has settled in so well. Loves all the staff and the social side of things and the security she now feels knowing she is safe and well. I visit at least 3 times a week but feel so reassured that she is safe and so well cared for her. A beautiful home and a lovely happy vibe. Would highly recommend...

Excellent care home. The staff and the management were fantastic looking after my mum. The rooms are just perfect, the atmosphere amongst the residents was great. The care that my mum got was superb, even until my mum took her last breath.

I cannot commend the staff at Adel Square enough. From Diane and Amanda as manager and deputy, to all the carers, Vicky in particular and including Tracy the chef, their kindness, compassion and care in looking after my stepfather in his final week has been exceptional. Nothing was straightforward, and yet nothing was too much for them to deal with, and I will be forever grateful to them all

Adel square recently cared for my in laws for a short convalescence period. The staff were warm and welcoming and extremely professional. They received exceptional care throughout their stay from all the staff and the surroundings are beautiful. Brand new and very well thought out. I'd have no hesitation in using this home again when needed.

My mum has been a resident now at Adel Square for nearly a month. I have been really impressed with her care so far. The management team went above and beyond in supporting us and getting mum moved in from respite in york, into Adel square nearer to me in leeds. Everyone of the team interact with the residents, they know them well and keep them entertained. Mum has settled in really well and has enjoyed the company of the staff and all the other residents and says the food is very nice to. The residents all look well cared for and happy. The home itself is brand new and spotless, nicely decorated and has a lovely reception area/outdoor area were i can enjoy a coffee with my mum when i visit. Mums room is lovely and light and we have been able to personalise it with family pictures to make it feel like home. Really glad i found this care home and feel relieved that my mum is being well cared for, after what has been a worrying time.

A lovely place and the quality stands out. Everybody involved in looking after mam has been thoughtful and considerate, always a warm welcome for us and any questions or queries answered. Impressive and professional, a great team - thank you all.

Lovely care home. My mother recently had two weeks respite care here and was treated very kindly by all the staff. She enjoyed the food, activities, and the interaction with staff and other residents. The care home is virtually brand new, it was all very clean and the bedroom facilities were lovely. Would recommend.

I cannot thank Diane and her team enough for their care, kindness, and dedication. They have made such a positive difference for my mum, and to our family. I would highly recommend Adel Square to anyone looking for outstanding care.

Absolutely fantastic care home. We moved my aunt here in May and it is beautiful, kind caring staff, interact with residents, lovely meals. 100% recommend. The rooms are so light and airy and in-house hairdresser. Spotlessly clean.

My uncle went to Shipley Manor initially for respite care just before Christmas but due to a deterioration in his heath he is still at the home as my aunt is unable to look after him at home. My uncle is receiving excellent care from the staff and it's clear that staff have built good relationships not only with my uncle but with the rest of the family, they keep my aunt and cousins updated with any changes in his health. He always looks well presented and when awake and alert he seems very happy. The home itself is always well presented, smells nice and there's always lots of activities going on to keep the residents happy and engaged as much possible.

From the first day of having a look around the place, I just knew it was for me, and I hope to spend the rest of my life here.

My mum Sheila has had a respite stay here and the service and care she had was 100% perfect everyone is so lovely and look after the residents with the up most respect and meet they needs perfect thank you mum will be back again when we need respite care

Dad has been at Shipley Manor now for 16 months in thier care and the quality of care they provide is superb and it is done with love and respect. Anything which may seem to be a big concern as Eldest Son is nothing to the staff. I do not worry whilst dad is with shipley manor as he is safe, warm and dry and cared for 5 stars

I feel I have neglected my duty to review Shipley Manor care home for too long now, having used it to care for my mother, who has dementia, for the last seven months now. In this time I have found the staff at Shipley Manor to have been efficient and respectful of my mother's requirements. The facilities at the care home are great and the staff make a genuine effort to keep residents engaged on a daily basis. Meals seem particularly good and my often fussy mum has never found need to complain about anything food related. The daily home made cakes for guests and residents are a particularly lovely touch. Well done Shipley Manor. Keep it up. It's the staff that make all the difference and they seem some of the best.

Mum became a resident at Shipley Manor Care Home 12 months ago. She had been struggling at home for months prior to assessment for care needs. Mum is now so much happier & settled in quite quickly. She is always saying how kind and caring the staff are. Mum is always happy to see her family but never unhappy when we leave. It means so much to us to know she is safe & has the care she requires.

Mum came into Shipley Manor Care Home in October 2024. Since she has been here she has gone from strength to strength. She is so well looked after by all the wonderful staff. Mum is always telling us how lovely they are and how much she likes being here. I personally cannot fault anything.

My brother is extremely happy with his move to Shipley Manor 18 months ago and appreciates everything that is done for him by the caring staff. Some new activities are being installed which should help his dementia. Laundry and housekeeping are also excellent. We are very pleased to have chosen Shipley Manor, having visited 15 care home possibilities. My brother enjoys his new environment and loves the catering. We made the right choice.
