Dad has been at Shipley Manor now for 16 months in thier care and the quality of care they provide is superb and it is done with love and respect. Anything which may seem to be a big concern as Eldest Son is nothing to the staff. I do not worry whilst dad is with shipley manor as he is safe, warm and
dry and cared for 5 stars

I feel I have neglected my duty to review Shipley Manor care home for too long now, having used it to care for my mother, who has dementia, for the last seven months now. In this time I have found the staff at Shipley Manor to have been efficient and respectful of my mother's requirements. The facilities
at the care home are great and the staff make a genuine effort to keep residents engaged on a daily basis. Meals seem particularly good and my often fussy mum has never found need to complain about anything food related. The daily home made cakes for guests and residents are a particularly lovely touch. Well done Shipley Manor. Keep it up. It's the staff that make all the difference and they seem some of the best.

Mum became a resident at Shipley Manor Care Home 12 months ago. She had been struggling at home for months prior to assessment for care needs. Mum is now so much happier & settled in quite quickly. She is always saying how kind and caring the staff are. Mum is always happy to see her family but never
unhappy when we leave. It means so much to us to know she is safe & has the care she requires.

My brother is extremely happy with his move to Shipley Manor 18 months ago and appreciates everything that is done for him by the caring staff. Some new activities are being installed which should help his dementia. Laundry and housekeeping are also excellent. We are very pleased to have chosen Shipley
Manor, having visited 15 care home possibilities. My brother enjoys his new environment and loves the catering. We made the right choice.

We had an urgent need for respite care due to my mother being unable to walk without help. The initial consultation through to the ongoing care required has been excellent and supportive not only to Mum but the whole family. After realising more care was required than originally thought, the further
help has been amazing. What a team! Couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

My dad was at shipley manor from jan 24 until he passed in Oct 24. The care he received was second to none. The staff treated us both like part of their family and nothing was too much trouble. The last few months he was unable to drink without thickener and could only eat certain things. Whether it
took him 5 mins or an hour they sat with him and never rushed him. The last few days I was given a room where I could sleep or shower and was able to be with him to the end. The night manager emma facilitated it so I could lay next to him and he passed in my arms which I could never be more thankful for. Tracey had such a lovely relationship with him. All the other staff which are too many to mention were absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend this wonderful care home enough.

My Mother became a resident of Shipley Manor in April 2024 and remained in their care until her death in March 2025.

At all times the staff were polite and indeed loved our Mother dearly. We were always kept informed and enjoyed a wonderful, supportive relationship with the staff caring for her.

Mum loved her room, she loved her meals and enjoyed some pleasant outings with the staff.

There was a comprehensive activities programme and as a family we were always welcomed to join Mum to take part.

They mark all birthdays and important days throughout the year with gusto and passion. Dressing the home for Halloween, Christmas, Remembrance Days and many more.

Staff were always polite, caring and showed great empathy throughout her stay.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Shipley Manor to anyone considering residential care.

Security is excellent, care exceptional and the quality of the decor and cleanliness second to none.

I felt part of the family, as did Mum. Thank you

My mother has dementia but is still able to be fairly independent. Before entering Shipley manor however she felt isolated and was not enjoying life, or eating regularly. Since moving in 9 months ago she is much happier, loves the location and her room and I am much happier knowing her daily needs are
being taken care of. She enjoys interacting with the staff and other residents, likes the meals and particularly loves not having to do domestic tasks! The home is well designed and kept very clean. The staff are cheerful and welcoming. Everyone who visits mum says how lovely it is. I would recommend it.

I would highly recommend Hutton Manor to anybody who is looking for a care home. I knew the minute that I walked in the home that is was the one, my mum said this as well. My grandma is so well cared for, we used to be worried sick about her, but we know that she is safe and that the staff go above
and beyond for her. Her room is gorgeous, and the home is beautiful. The main thing, though, is the staff. They make us feel very welcome, and Grandma loves them all. Thank you to everyone.

My mum is 87 with early stages of dementia and had to be relocated to Hutton Manor over 6 weeks ago, having looked at other numerous care homes. From day one, two staff members in particular were and are brilliant with great communication and support.
From our first day to moving my mum in, all the
staff were so accommodating, supportive and understanding and continue with attentive support and care for my mum. This place is brilliant, more like a hotel! All staff are there for the care of the residents, patient, experienced and understanding with all the residents. Mum's room is lovely, spacious and beautiful decorated, overlooking the car park. We put a phone line in so that my mum had a private phone in her bedroom which was definitely needed.
I would definitely recommend Hutton Manor. They have made mum very comfortable and really helped reassure me as it was a terrible experience moving her. We consider ourselves to be very, very lucky to have found such a great place for her. Wow!
