The home is kept so clean and tidy thanks to the constant attention of the housekeeping staff. The overall appearance and maintenance of the building is exceptional and provides a calm and open atmosphere for all residents and visitors.
All this is made possible by the professional management group, Laura, Sam, Sophie and Amanda.
I am so grateful to all the staff of this care home and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
Thank you for such generous words and for the recommendation. We're glad the team has helped your wife feel secure, respected and able to enjoy her time with us. The St Mary's Riverside team will be so proud to read this, we'll make sure your thanks reach them all.
I would like to thank the wonderful Kizzie who showed the initiative to arrange for my mum to have an eye test in St Marys. Whilst mum does not understand what was arranged- I know she would also want me to to thank Kizzie on her behalf. Kizzie you are so caring and thoughtful, thank you for all you do.
Thank you so much, it's so lovely to have our staff recognised for the care they display to our residents every day and I'm pleased that your Mum managed to get her eyes tested in the comfort of her own home
The care provided to my father after his terminal diagnosis was truly exceptional. Every member of the team treated him with the utmost dignity, compassion, and respect, ensuring he was comfortable and cared for not only physically, but emotionally as well. Their kindness extended to our entire family, offering reassurance , time and support during an incredibly difficult time.
From the moment we arrived, we always felt genuinely welcomed. The environment was warm, calm, and comforting-far more like a home than a clinical setting. This sense of care and compassion brought us peace and allowed my father to spend his time feeling safe, and surrounded by kindness. The staff also were funny which helped with the sadness seeing them interact with other residents was exceptionalalso after my dad sadly passed away helped with funeral arrangements
We will always be deeply grateful for the love and care shown
Thankyou to you all you are all superb

St Mary's Riverside is a wonderful happy care home for my Mother in Law, excellent surroundings and facilities, beautifully appointed rooms in a fantastic location overlooking the River and Humber Bridge, the management and staff are amazing, a very kind and caring care home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. Your Mother in Law is an absolute delight to care for and a much loved member of our family here at Riverside
I Couldn't ask for more caring and loving people to look after my mum. They are kind, patient and treat my mum with such dignity and respect. They don't only take care of my mum but also her friends and family to try and make it as homely and normal as possible. They always go above and beyond. I wouldn't put my mother anywhere else and I have peace of mind after leaving knowing she is well cared for. It's nice to know the staff actually care for my mum and have her best interests always.

We are thrilled to know that finally she is settled and content. It's really uplifting to hear such positive comments from a family who visit regularly and have the experience of two other care settings.
My nana has been in St Mary's for over two years now, due to dementia. The home is lovely, clean and well kept. The staff are fantastic and second to none. They go above and beyond to provide families with reassurance and provide a safe and happy environment for loved ones. Highly recommended to anyone. Thank you for treating her so well.

I would like to send my kind regards, thanks, and appreciation to the management and staff at St Mary's Riverside. My mother was admitted to St Mary's just over a year ago. The standard of care that she has received during this time has been excellent. The staff are always very kind, caring, and supportive, and treat the residents with respect and dignity. My mother's health and well-being have certainly improved from moving into St Mary's after living alone in her own home. She is always clean and well-dressed. She enjoys the food and looks physically well. I have found the atmosphere at St Mary's inclusive, welcoming, and supportive to relatives, too, and we are included in the many activities, or invited to functions. Many thanks to all.
Thank you so much, since your Mum moved in with us she's been an integral part of our Riverside family, as have you. She's settled in so well with us here and is an absolute delight to care for.
The food is excellent and the staff always happy to talk about any worries.
Thank you Riverside for making a hard job of putting my dad into care a much easier one.
Wow what a lovely review. It means so much to us to know that we have helped in any way. We all recognise how difficult the transition into a care home can be. We are so pleased that our staff have helped to make that move a positive one for your Dad. Thank you for taking the time to feedback.
Nan has been at St. Mary's Riverside for over two years, and during this time, the staff have consistently gone above and beyond to care for her. They treat her with the utmost dignity and respect, and it's incredibly reassuring to know that she is both happy and safe in their care. The daily activities are varied and thoughtfully planned, and family and friends are always made to feel welcome to join in. I couldn't be more grateful for everything the team does for my Nan.
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful review. It means a great deal to us to hear how happy and safe your Nan feels at St. Mary's Riverside. Providing compassionate care with dignity and respect is at the heart of everything we do, and we're delighted to know that this has been your...
My mum has been so well cared for since arriving at St Mary's Riverside. The staff throughout the care home are so kind and caring. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The care home has a warm, homely feeling, is beautifully decorated and the bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed. My mum says that she feels like she is living in a hotel. There are always lots of activities for the residents to do and the staff are on hand to support. I would highly recommend. This care home is the best in the area and I have visited many.
Thank you Angela for taking the time to review our home. Your Mum has settled in so well. She is joining in with the activities and has made some really nice friendships which are lovely to see. I will pass your comments on to our staff who will be really happy that you as a health care professional believe they are doing a great job in looking after your Mum.
My parents are so well looked after and happy at St Mary's, the management and staff are all extremely caring and kind. The atmosphere is lovely, the food is fabulous, and my mum and dad are happy and safe.
Thanks, Julia; you're review is very much appreciated. Your mum and dad are delightful, and we look forward to your visits too.
My father's health quickly deteriorated, after being very independent. After a long period of hospitalisation he was recommended for permanent care. The transition to permanent care was made much easier for us all due to the knowledgeable, warm and welcoming care team at St Mary's. I could not recommend them more highly! The manager and care team genuinely care about the residents as individuals. The home is immaculately maintained in a wonderful area with views of the river. When weather permits staff enjoy taking residents for walks on the riverfront. Thank you to all at St Mary's for making a real difference!
What a difference your dad makes to our home with his quick wit and sense of humour. He has brought so much laughter to all those around him. We love having him as a resident here at Riverside. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us with such a kind review.
My Mum had been a day visitor to St Mary's for a number of months before she joined the home full-time at the beginning of March. The transition was made very smooth and Mum settled in quickly thanks to the caring manager and the wonderful team. The manager gave us (Mum's immediate family) her time and professional advice on how to manage to move. This advice, alongside the welcoming feeling from the wonderful environment and interested, patient and caring staff saw the whole family surprised, relieved and delighted with how positively Mum talked about her new home. Mum is thriving at St. Mary's. She is happy, full of news, and proudly talks about new friendships, personalised room and the activities she takes part in. My Dad, sisters and their partners and Mum's grandchildren can't begin to express how grateful and thrilled we are to find this welcoming and professionally ran residential home.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We all adore your Mum and she has become such an integral part of our family, it feels like she's been with us forever. Thank you for your support as a family which always makes the transition into care so much easier.
My aunt has been a resident in St Mary's for almost two years now. I have to manage her affairs from some distance and so rely heavily on the staff and management. I have only the highest praise for all of them. My aunt is so happy and content there. Recently she celebrated her 100th birthday. Everyone at St Mary's, along with family and friends, produced a wonderful, memorable occasion for her. It is so clear that everyone is focused on the well-being of the residents. I have several years' experience of other homes, when my late wife had to support her mother. It was a never-ending struggle to maintain the level of care. St Mary's is so different in every way. Yes, everything is new and well-maintained, but it goes way beyond that. Ultimately it always comes down to the commitment of the staff and how management deal with the inevitable problems that will always occur in this environment. It is here that they excel. They fully deserve their Outstanding grading.
Thank you so much for your wonderful words. You know that your aunt means so much to all of us and the whole home enjoyed celebrating her milestone birthday with you all, it really was such a memorable day
