My mum came into the home from another home where the care was non-existent. We all thought she would die in there, we were able to come here to the manager and her team. Mum is now walking, more lucid, eating and drinking, such a change. I couldn't recommend the home enough to everyone. Thank you to the team for saving my mum.
Thank you so much for your kind review. Your mum is a pleasure to look after and brings many a smile to our faces daily.
Since she has been here our family, and her associates have seen a massive improvement not only in her appearance but her physical self, as well the home is everything she needs and we're very happy she is getting the care she needs.
Thank you for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear your mother-in-law has settled well and that you were able to secure a room for her at such short notice at St. Mary's Riverside Care Home. Our team is committed to providing a warm, supportive, and nurturing environment for all our residents...
Communication between staff and family is fantastic, my family member is extremely happy being a resident. She is well looked after by all the staff who are all kind and caring and certainly in the right job! Anything needing to be addressed is done, not only promptly but professionally. Absolutely no issues whatsoever and we do highly recommend St Mary's.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review of St Mary's Riverside Care Home! We are delighted to hear about your positive experience with our communication and the care your family member receives. Our staff takes great pride in offering a kind, caring, and professional environment for all our...
Staff are always helpful despite being under pressure and short-staffed at times (this is a country-wide issue). Rooms and communal areas are always clean and tidy. Any questions or queries are dealt with quickly and professionally.
Management is always friendly and very helpful and knowledgable - as many issues arise around your loved ones' care and social service policies etc.
The room my loved one is in sadly has them sitting facing the car park which over time has made us realise that the room was set up badly and would be better the other way round so the resident can look at the view - better for her mental health. Overall my loved one is well cared for and is safe and warm and finally settling with all the changes they are experiencing, which must be very difficult for them to adjust to. Thank you.
It's good to know that you have found our home to be warm, friendly, and caring. Our...
Fantastic, clean, welcoming environment. Lovely, warm, friendly and caring staff. Well done to all!
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the St Marys Riverside team.
All staff know the residents individually; they get to know their preferences, likes and dislikes, and they are respectful, kind and patient. They know what is important to them and also get to know their family members, so it is truly an individual service.
All staff seem to truly care about their job and the people they are caring for. They want to provide the best possible experience for their residents at this stage of their lives.
Dear Caroline, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is a pleasure to care for your Mother and a privilege to have her with us. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and I will, of course, pass them on to the St Mary's Riverside team.
Sadly, some years ago, I had to place my own mother into a care home, I only wish I could have brought her to St Marys on the river for her final years. It's luxury beyond belief, the staff, like the home, are warm and caring beyond the call of duty. I can see just why the home was awarded 'outstanding' this year because that is exactly what is is, wonderful and outstanding, as are the staff. The best thing about the home! They cater for many issues and it is safe, secure and well-managed. Thank you to all the staff.
Your words touched us deeply, and we are grateful for the time you took to share your thoughts about St Marys Riverside. We understand the emotional journey of placing a loved one in a care home, and your kindness in expressing such warm sentiments means a great deal to all of us. We are here for...
Everyone at St Marys Riverside has provided my grandparents with the most amazing care since they moved into the home. All the staff and managers are the most caring, kindest and loveliest people and we are so blessed to have them look after our precious grannie and gramps. Thank you for being like a second family to us and them.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is a pleasure caring for your grandparents. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the St Marys Riverside family.
When visiting my grandmother, I was greeted warmly by staff at reception. During my visit I found that all staff were approachable, attentive to my grandmother's needs and were prepared to answer any questions in a professional and caring manner. My grandmother is looked after very well by all of the staff who work here.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. Your kind words are much appreciated and I will, of course, pass them on to the St Mary's Riverside team.
Mum was only at St Marys Riverside for 3 weeks but in that time I couldn't have wished for a better place for her. From the moment you walk in through the door, it's like a home from home and as relatives of the residents you are made to feel so welcome. The staff on the dementia floor are amazing treating everyone with care and compassion and they all went above and beyond with Mums end of life care. I cannot thank them enough, it is easy to see why St Marys Riverside was awarded outstanding on their CQC inspection. Thanks again for taking such good care of Mum.
Dear Sandra, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It was a privilege to care for your mum and we are thrilled that she enjoyed her time with us. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the St Marys Riverside team.
I am very grateful that particular effort has been made to secure a new bed for Mum, which has made her very much more comfortable. All of Mum's needs are being looked to, with dignity, care and compassion.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will, of course, pass them on to the St Marys Riverside family.
The facilities are exceptional and every effort is made to cater for Mum's needs.
St Marys Riverside family.
My mother has recently been admitted to St Marys Riverside. She has received nothing short of outstanding care. We enquired on the Sunday as an emergency placement. The senior on duty was extremely professional and informative. An assessment was completed the following day and Mum moved in that very evening. I cannot tell you the impact this has had on us as a family. For the first time in two years we as a family now have our life back. Mum is safe, happy, extremely well cared for and finally has had her first bath in over five years! What struck me about this care home from start to finish is how professional, kind and welcoming all the staff are, from the housekeeping staff all the way up to management. Everybody takes the time to get to know Mum and the rest of the family without judgement and we could not have wished for a happier more friendly environment.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is a privilege to care for your mum and we are delighted that you chose St Marys Riverside and that she has settled in so well. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the St Marys Riverside team.
My parents went to St Marys Riverside to have their second period of respite care. The staff here are amazing, the kindness and dignity they show my mum and dad is wonderful. The home has a lovely atmosphere and it's beautifully clean. The food is always really good and they can have anything they want. The staff are so kind and always have time to talk and make my parents feel at home. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I cannot recommend this home highly enough. Thank you.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your parents and we are honoured that you chose St Marys Riverside. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the team.
My mam went into this care home in July and sadly passed away recently. The care and devotion she received for the three and half weeks she was there was beyond words. She received first-class treatment and was never alone as there was always someone checking her. She was treated with love and dignity and every single person who works there deserves recognition. Such care and devotion was given throughout. The home was top-class and so clean and tidy it was a pleasure to walk through the doors. If anyone is looking for a caring care home then this is your place and we cannot thank everyone enough for making us feel special.
Firstly, may we express our sympathies for the loss of your mum, she is deeply missed by all at St Marys Riverside. Many thanks for your kind words and I will, of course, pass them on to the St Marys Riverside family.
My sister has been cared for a few months on the dementia floor of St Mary's Riverside. Her condition makes her management challenging at times, but I have never seen the staff other than supportive, kind and encouraging. They know her as a person (and her immediate family) and are able to distract her when that is possible or manage her frustration in other ways. The home is spotless, the willingness to adapt to food preferences and the sense of trying to build a community within the constraints of the individuals' varying levels of contentment/frustration/cheerfulness is fantastic. I have nothing but praise for them. Thank you.
Dear Anne, Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is a pleasure to care for your sister and are thrilled that you chose to recognise the care and dedication that the Riverside team show. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course ensure that the home team see them.
Spotless rooms, excellent food and a lovely atmosphere make it an easy choice for anyone looking for respite or residential care.
All staff should be very proud of their contribution to fantastic team achievement.
Dear Stephen, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It was our pleasure to care for your father. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and I will, of course, pass them on to the St Mary's Riverside family.
From the day I was wheeled in by ambulance staff to leaving three weeks later to return home, I received nothing but kindness, encouragement and other help in innumerable ways. The accommodation was excellent, akin to any 5-star hotel. I was even accompanied to hospital appointments without feeling I was being a burden to the care team. Nothing was too much trouble. The choice of activities on offer was wide-ranging, from exercises for helping with movement to quizzes and competitions to challenge the mind. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend St Mary’s to anyone.
Dear Judith, Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It was our pleasure to care for you, and are delighted you are recovering well. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and I will, of course, pass them on to the St Marys Riverside family.
The manager and all of the staff have been superb. I could not have asked for more. Everyone has been very friendly and accommodating and has been flexible with any requests that have been made. The whole place has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and the interior is absolutely beautiful. From what I have seen, it could not get any better than this. Thank you.
Many thanks for your kind review of St Marys Riverside.
My mother-in-law, who has dementia, has recently moved in. It's actually a pleasure to visit her (I've not said that for years). Although she can't remember any of the staff names, she has nothing but praise for them; they are all professional and caring. She enjoys taking part in the activities and is a lot happier in herself; she thinks she's on holiday. Thank you to all the staff.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. We are very proud of the team at St Marys Riverside and the service they provide. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and I will, of course, pass them on to the team.
