My mum recently went into St Mary's Riverside for some respite care after a hospital stay. Apart from the place being beautiful, along with the views of the bridge, it is the staff that absolutely makes the place. They are all very caring and compassionate and treat each of the residents like they were members of their own families. When I say the staff, I mean all of the staff - carers, nurses, cooks, cleaners, managers and even the handyman. Even the visitors are welcomed with open arms and a slice of homemade cake! The food is cooked fresh every day and is amazing, according to my mum! I would highly recommend St Mary's Riverside to anyone looking for a care home for their loved one.
Dear Jayne, it is our pleasure to care for your mum and are delighted she has settled in so well. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and I will, of course, pass these on to the manager and the colleagues at St Marys Riverside.
I wanted to arrange for my 97-year-old mother to spend some time in respite for the first time while I went away. I had recently been told of a new care home in Hessle. I contacted the home, and the manager was most helpful and supplied information. I contacted her when mother I decided respite would be a good idea, and someone from the home visited Mum in my absence to assess her needs. The next morning, I took Mum to have a look round; she liked what she saw and stayed. All the staff are lovely, friendly and genuinely caring and are looking after Mum extremely well, which gave me great peace of mind. The home itself is by far the best I have viewed and feels more like a hotel, and visitors are always made very welcome at any time.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It was our pleasure to care for your Mum, and are delighted that your experience was such a positive one. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and I will, of course, pass them on to Laura and the St Mary's Riverside team.
The care home welcomed my mother-in-law into their home and has helped to get her settled in, and hopefully, she will settle in well with the lovely staff. They have been very encouraging with her and always keep us informed of everything that is happening.
Dear Donna, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your mother-in-law and are delighted that she has settled in so quickly. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and I will, of course, pass them on to the manager and the team at St Mary's Riverside.
St Mary's Riverside is a beautifully located care home. When I went to visit, the staff are so welcoming and made you feel like you were at home. Beautifully homemade cake and coffee on arrival! The residents are very well cared for and put your mind at rest knowing this.
Dear Amanda, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. All feedback is welcomed and allows us to continually develop our service. Your kind words are appreciated, and I will, of course, pass them on to the manager and the colleagues at St Mary's Riverside .
This home is the best place we put our relative in. The care he got was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond for our relatives and us. The professionalism and compassion they have been above and beyond. I cannot sing their praises enough, from kitchen staff to care staff to management. It was peace of mind for the family because we knew how well he was being looked after and cannot thank the staff enough for all they have done.
Dear Stefanie, many thanks for taking the time to review our care home. We are delighted that you had such a positive experience at St Mary's Riverside. Your kind words are appreciated, and I will, of course, pass them on to the manager and the colleagues at the home.
The staff and management at St Mary’s Riverside could not do enough to care for and look after my uncle, who unfortunately died there on the 14th of June. They made him very comfortable and well cared for, and also our family, some of whom came from London and we were also looked after before and after his death. I cannot say enough about this home and its wonderful staff.
Dear Maureen, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It was our pleasure to care for your uncle, and he will be missed by all. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and I will, of course, pass on your kind words to the manager and the St Mary's Riverside colleagues.
This is a truly fantastic care home. Mum settled in right away in her beautiful room overlooking the Humber Bridge and estuary. We went to the Open Day and were shown around by the deputy manager, and it was obvious from the start that the staff were kind, considerate and experienced in looking after the people in their care. St Mary's Riverside is more like a luxury hotel than a care home. Everywhere is spotless, and the staff are always present in case they are needed. Mum loves her breakfast and now makes sure she has not only cereal but also a cooked breakfast every day. She says the food is excellent, and the portions are generous too. When we visit, we are always welcomed with a cup of coffee and a slice of homemade cake. We have also been able to take our dogs to visit Mum, which she loves and other residents seem to enjoy seeing them too. Having looked at several care homes recently, we knew as soon as we walked in that this was the one. I can't recommend it highly enough
Dear Judi, many thanks for taking the time to review our care home. It is our pleasure to care for your Mum, and are delighted that she has settled in so well. Your kind words are really appreciated, and I will, of course, ensure that they are passed on to the manager and the Riverside team.
Very professional staff and management teams. Nothing is too much trouble. Residents are treated with the respect and dignity they justly deserve. The home is more akin to a hotel than a residential home. The emphasis is on "home" from home. As an Ambulance driver, I have had the occasion to visit many care homes, and this is by way and far the very best I have seen.
Dear Steve, many thanks for taking the time to review our care home. All feedback is welcomed and allows us to continually develop our service. Your kind words are really appreciated, and I will, of course, ensure that they are passed on to the manager and the Riverside team.

Fantastic atmosphere, gorgeous home, looks just like a hotel! Staff were warm and friendly, very welcoming. I couldn't wish for a better place for my relative to live in. Highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere for their loved one to be cared for.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I will, of course, pass your kind words on to the manager and the colleagues at St Mary's Riverside
All superior, like a hotel. Very friendly, immaculate everywhere. Food is superb. Staff are welcoming and friendly. I've travelled the world, the service is as good as other countries I've been to.

Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the manager and the home colleagues.
Although the home has only just opened and is not fully occupied or operational, we have found the staff most accommodating, friendly and helpful. The facilities are first class and of a high standard.
