Catherine is proud to have worked in the care sector since leaving school, a career that quickly became so much more than just a job. Over the years, she has truly fallen in love with caring for others and supporting people to live happy, fulfilling lives. She is now proud to be a Care Home Manager, a role she is incredibly passionate about.
Outside of work, she is a very busy and proud grandmother who loves nothing more than spending quality time with her family and friends, creating memories that will last a lifetime. She also loves to travel, explore the outdoors and enjoy the beauty of nature.
She has a real adventurous side too and enjoys trying new experiences and activities. For her, life is all about making memories, enjoying the journey and, wherever possible, bringing a little happiness to those around her.

With nearly 15 years of experience in healthcare, Kelly has built a rewarding career through hard work, dedication and a genuine passion for caring for others. Starting out in housekeeping in a nursing home, she continued to learn and develop, achieving her Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and Level 2 in Mental Health. Kelly has since progressed into management, where she has spent the past four years and is now working towards her Level 5.
What Kelly loves most about her role is seeing residents and staff smile, creating a positive environment and making sure every resident receives the highest standard of care. She truly believes that a happy team creates a happy home, and feels privileged to be part of that every day.
Family means everything to Kelly. She is a proud wife and mum of three and loves spending quality time together, whether on holiday, enjoying days out, visiting theme parks or simply relaxing at home. She treasures making memories with her family and enjoys being surrounded by friends and loved ones, with plenty of laughter and good conversation.
Outside of work, Kelly is a keen reader, although finding the time to finish a book can be a challenge! She also loves collecting coins, has a surprising soft spot for opera music and is a huge Disney fan.

With a fun and positive approach to life, Sally looks forward to making residents at Lake View Lodge smile every day she is on duty. She truly believes that life is too short not to enjoy it.
After leaving school, Sally began her career at Thanet Technical College in Broadstairs, where she achieved City & Guilds qualifications in General Catering, Hotel Reception, and Housekeeping.
Her career then took her to London hotels, where she initially worked in reservations before progressing into accounts. Over time, her journey naturally led her into Nursing and Dementia Care Homes, where she started as an Administrator and progressed to the role of Hospitality Manager.
In 2024, Sally was delighted to join Lake View Lodge as Front of House Manager, where she played a key role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. After just under two years with the company, Sally has since been promoted to Customer Relations Manager. In her current role, she enjoys engaging with the local community, supporting charitable fundraising, and organising meaningful events within the home.
Outside of work, Sally enjoys spending time at her allotment, which she and her husband took on just over two years ago. Together, they have successfully grown a variety of fruit and vegetables, a truly rewarding experience. She also enjoys travelling, concerts and going to the theatre.

Dan has been part of the care industry since the age of 18, beginning his journey as a kitchen assistant while studying at Westminster College. Over the years, he has worked his way up to Head Chef, gaining valuable experience across various care companies and witnessing first-hand how food in the sector has evolved—a change he finds refreshing and inspiring to be part of.
Dan believes that everyone enjoys good food, and care home residents are no different. That’s why listening to them is so important. He is passionate about delivering well-presented, home-cooked meals that not only meet nutritional needs but also spark memories and bring joy. For many, mealtimes are the highlight of the day—a chance to relax, socialise, and enjoy a great meal and perhaps even a glass of wine. Getting these moments right is a top priority for Dan and his team at Lake View Lodge.
In a previous role, Dan’s team reached the finals for ‘Team of the Year’ at a national awards ceremony in London—an achievement he’s immensely proud of, especially as it came within the first three months of the home opening.
Outside of work, Dan is a devoted West Ham United fan and enjoys boxing. He’s also a proud father of five, one of whom is training to become a chef—much to his delight. He shares his home life with his beloved show cocker spaniel, Benny.
