Visiting

  • Visitors are welcome to spend time with residents and are encouraged to maintain regular contact with their loved ones. Visiting hours are flexible, allowing friends and family to come at times that suit both the resident and the home’s routine. To ensure the comfort and wellbeing of all residents, visitors may be asked to sign in on arrival and follow any safety or hygiene guidance in place. Large groups and young children are welcome, though it may be requested that visits take place in designated areas to maintain a calm environment for everyone. Pets are often welcome by prior arrangement, as long as they are well-behaved and do not cause distress to residents. If a resident is unwell or receiving end-of-life care, visiting arrangements can be adapted to allow family and close friends more time and privacy. Visitors are encouraged to check with the home team in advance if there are any special requirements or if they wish to arrange a private space for their visit.

Parking

  • The care home provides on-site parking for visitors, with spaces located close to the main entrance for ease of access. Designated disabled bays are available for those who require them, ensuring safe and convenient access to the building. During busy periods, spaces may be limited, so visitors are encouraged to allow extra time when arriving. Where overflow parking is provided, clear signage is in place to direct vehicles. All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk, and visitors are asked to use the spaces considerately to ensure availability for others.

I would highly recommend Lindsey Hall Care Home. My mum is so happy there and so well looked after. I particularly wanted to write a review during this lockdown due to Covid-19. The home's social media page lets us see photos of the residents and the ability to video call is fantastic. The home keeps us up to date with all the actions the home has put in place which is very reassuring.

This is a fantastic home with such dedicated and kind staff. The family are so pleased Mum is here. Thank you.

Both my parents moved into Lindsey Hall over 18 months ago. I have to say neither really wanted to and it was a struggle to finally get them to agree. They had been receiving home care for two years previous but it was obvious to me they needed fulltime care. It must be difficult to accept that you need to be cared for and leave the home you have had for over 60 years. I took them on numerous visits around the home and the staff were excellent and understood how they would feel and reassured them. It also helped me knowing they were going to a care home that not only reports excellent CQC results but more importantly feels like everyone enjoys working there and all residents are part of their family. Mum and Dad now feel it is their home and they are with their friends. Nothing is too much trouble for the home and on a personal basis, I trust them completely to look after, love and care for my parents. I only have praise and thanks.

We continue to be impressed with Mum's care (resident since September 2016). Medical and personal issues are dealt with promptly with consultation/follow up with medical experts carried out as required. All the staff act in Mum's best interest and with compassion and understanding. On every level, every employee of the home works within the team structure and is always friendly and approachable. The home is well-run, and all decisions are made in conjunction with the family.
During this period of lockdown, the home's management has acted impeccably in order to keep staff and residents safe whilst continuously keeping families informed. Nothing more could be asked of them.

In addition, the home's environment is clean, secure, bright, warm, well-decorated and calm. Cre of Mum is indeed excellent and Mum is happy. Thank you.

Lindsey Hall Care Home is a lovely home for my dad. It has been beautifully furnished and well planned and thought out. The separate residential side is excellent and means that all residents get the care that suits them best. I find all the carers, management team and other staff to be very helpful and caring to both me and dad.

Whenever there have been any aspects of concern they have always been discussed and wherever possible a satisfactory resolution is found as quickly as possible. I am happy that dad is being well looked after and all his needs are catered for.

I would just like to say thank you so much for the love and care given to Mum and myself throughout her stay. The team gave her an unlimited amount of love and comfort at a very stressful time of her life and were a great support to myself when I neede a shoulder to cry on (and there were many times). The team on Haven South are a credit to your company.

When as a family we decided, somewhat reluctantly, that the time had come to find a care home for our father who has mild to moderate Alzheimer's, we looked at Lindsey Hall. On first stepping into Lindsey Hall we knew as a family that we had found the place for our recently widowed father to spend the rest of his days. He is now as happy and settled as he has been for many months. From first entering Lindsey Hall, where without fail you are greeted warmly and by name, the atmosphere is one of warmth and care. The care team is always welcoming and have time to talk informing the family of our father’s current health and welfare. The standard of accommodation far exceeds anything we saw in our search for a care home, as does the level of care. Our father is always treated with respect and dignity. We cannot thank the entire team from managers to care staff enough for the peace of mind that as a family we have regained since our father has been at Lindsey Hall.

My Dad was at Lindsey for the last year of his life. He was extremely happy and called his room his 'home'. The care, attention and genuine love shown to him by all the staff was second to none and you could see he loved the staff and also showed concern for other residents. He enjoyed the food immensely, especially the puddings! He was encouraged to join in with anything that was going on and from what we have been told he made a big impression and is greatly missed. His end of life care was excellent and the family were looked after too during this time.

We cannot fault anything at the home and it was the best decision Dad made to move in. We only wish he could have been there for longer. We cannot thank the wonderful staff enough and would and do recommend Lindsey Hall to everyone.

Before I moved my uncle into Lindsey Hall I worried if it was the right thing to do.
I can tell you it definitely was.
The care staff are outstanding and so welcoming when visiting.

Friends have all commented on how well he is doing when they have visited and it's all down to the care and attention he is receiving.

I was impressed by everything I saw. It's beautifully decorated and furnished but the best thing is the staff. We met day staff and night staff and found them all so friendly and caring. They do a wonderful job.

After viewing 2 homes without joy our third visit was to Lindsey Hall. We were greeted by one of the carers and were shown the beautiful and amazing facilities which it provides. The instant impressions were from the décor however by the end of the visit it was apparent through the staff we met and the observations we made of how the staff interacted with the residents while we visited, the décor was not the only impressive feature. My husband and I walked out and I said to him ‘we need look no further’. My mum moved into Lindsay Hall and was so well cared for from the moment she arrived. The activity staff visited her every day to see if she wanted to join in and always left the daily newsletter and quizzes. The staff were caring and attentive throughout her stay, we were kept well-informed of any changes and they were able to offer her the comfort of having someone available 24/7. The home and its staff are the cream of the crop and others should strive to achieve the same standards.

Excellent, caring and compassionate care given by all members of staff, especially those in The Haven (the Dementia Unit), not just to the residents, but to all members of her family. These wonderful people went to great lengths to ensure we were all well cared for especially as Mum neared the end of her life.

Lindsey Hall Home is lovely in every way. As soon as you enter the home, there is alway a warm welcome from the receptionist and carers. There are lots of areas for the people to explore and lots of activities for the residents and people with dementia to take part in and they are so happy. Food is excellent and drinks always on hand and offered. On miserable days, you can go to the cinema and watch a good film. You can play bowls and table top games. Well wrapped up you can go out into the garden. Most of all the resident are cared for with love and kindness.
