Mum has been a resident at Seacroft Green for two months. In this short period of time, she has had first class treatment from the caring staff. Mum has become more settled and less anxious. It is a great relief to have found a nursing home that truly cares.
Hi Mark, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience.
At Seacroft Green Care Home - Care UK we hold ourselves to a high standard and therefore we appreciate all feedback so we can continually look to improve and ensure the delivery of high quality care.
My partner came here in Dec. and in the few month he has been here the staff have been great they have done their best to make his life more comfortable picking up straight away when ill, and getting him to hospital promptly. What a lovely man Mar seems everyone has been welcoming and helpful its comforting to know he's in good hands.

After going to visit my friend in the care home, I found it very welcoming. The staff were friendly and the room and bathroom were immaculate. The staff were very attentive to my friend and nothing was too much trouble. She never gets out of bed, due to her condition, but there is always someone calling in to see if she was ok. I cannot speak more highly of the place.
We're so pleased to hear that you had such a positive experience visiting your friend at Seacroft Green. Creating a warm, welcoming environment and delivering attentive care are what we strive for every day, so...
In the 6.5 years mum has been at Seacroft Green she has been looked after with the greatest of care. The staff all make an effort to know mum and to spend time with her and encourage her. For mum's 100th birthday the staff threw a wonderful party for her and took care to include activities and songs that they knew she would enjoy. They are also very caring and supportive towards mum's family when we visit which is greatly appreciated. Thank you to all the staff, you can be very proud of the job you do and the care you give.
I would recommend The Green as my mum was in there for four years and the care she received was very good until she passed away in December The staff were very supportive not only to mum but to me and my family and we were kept up to date on everything that was happening either by email ,telephone or in person when visiting we cannot thank them enough .
All the staff have always been excellent, nothing too much trouble, even though they were very busy, and his care was second to none in his last few weeks. He died peacefully with dignity. With two members of staff caring for him. they were fantastic
We are his only relatives and were in Australia with circumstances beyond our control to return home, however your manager was incredibly helpful and has assisted us with formalities we could not do, absolute god send , and staff on reception excellent.we would recommend this care home every single time, it's perfect. Thank you each and every one of you amazing,
Sep-Dec 2024 we visited pretty much everyday, its fair to say that we really got to know the home and team very well. The staff are lovely, genuine, warm, professional people and are all amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt like we were right at home. Hygiene, personal care, cleanliness, laundry, meals are all of the highest standards and that gave us so much comfort. As my father in laws health deteriorated the team did us and themselves proud, not only providing the most outstanding care for him but also were pillars of strength to us, supporting us through the most difficult of times. We will never ever forget the Team that looked after Malcolm, thank you to EVERYONE that cared for him and us. All the staff and the laundry lady, we cannot thankyou enough for all that you did. You were there for us every step of the way, even on funeral day, you were there to show your respect, which is another special memory that we will cherish forever
The staff looking after Dad/Gramps always went above and beyond. The care, commitment and compassion is evident as soon as you walk through the door and meet the helpful reception staff. This continued on the floor where Dad had a room with a fantastic view and was able to watch the sunset many times. He enjoyed the varied activity events especially the singing sessions where he got to do a quite a few solos! Dad also enjoyed the home cooked food and everyone worked so hard to make him comfortable and nourish his strong independent spirit. Wishing you all well for the future in the great work you do.
My experience of Seacroft Green has been very positive. Indeed, I can't fault it. They go out of their way to make the residents as clean, comfortable and happy as possible. Only tonight, they helped my mother celebrate her 89th birthday, congregating in her room to sing happy birthday to her, getting her some cards and even baking her a cake. I guess they don't have to do that, but they did and it is much appreciated.
If I could I'd give Seacroft Green Nursing Home 6 stars. Everything about it is outstanding. There's no greater comfort than knowing my mum is in such good hands. I couldn't ask for more, this home is exceptionally well run.
When my mother's dementia necessitated her moving to a care home, my daughter and I visited Seacroft Green and immediately knew that this was the perfect place for her care. The friendly community atmosphere was immediately apparent, and she was flooded with kindness and attention from the cheerful nursing staff and carers from her first day. Unfortunately, after almost 12 months, Mum's health deteriorated, but she was cared for with kindness, professionalism and dignity until the end. I have no hesitation in recommending Seacroft Green.
Thank you for your kind words about Seacroft Green. Your positive review is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff. We're so glad that you are delighted with the care that your mother received. It's incredibly rewarding to hear that our team was able to provide your mother with the comfort, support and dignity she deserved. Best wishes.
Staff, nurses, admin and managers have been so helpful in looking after my friend. His daily needs are very well catered for. Privacy is respected and there are regular, fun communal activities for all residents.
Everyone has been incredibly helpful in assisting with essential paperwork as well and has made personal contact with me when any issues have arisen.
And the coffee is good! Highly recommended.
We are absolutely delighted to hear such wonderful feedback about your friend's experience at Seacroft Green. Your kind words about our staff, facilities and overall care are truly appreciated. It is our utmost priority to create a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for our residents. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your recommendation. Best wishes.
Her bedroom was very clean and tidy and my friend was very happy. She took me into the lounge. I was offered a drink, but declined.
I sat and chatted and there was plenty of staff around if I am sure they were needed.
Excellent atmosphere.
Thank you for your lovely review. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Seacroft Green to see your friend. We hope to welcome you back soon on another visit. Best wishes.
My wife and I visited our friend and from reception to the room we received excellent help. The rooms, lift, dining and sitting areas were clean, comfortable and bright. I looked at the menu which looked excellent and our friend's special dietary needs were catered for.
Thank you for your lovely review, we're delighted that you enjoyed your visit to Seacroft Green. Best wishes.
Love it here, but I wish I still could go home.
Lovely food and a range of different foods and drinks.
Everyone is nice.
Best wishes.
Good care.
Patient is clear and tidy.
Excellent room and furnishings.
Best wishes.
His room is spacious and kept very clean. The staff are very welcoming to all visitors and most staff know visitors by name. Lovely, warm, friendly, amazing place for visitors and residents. Would highly recommend.
Best wishes, Home Manager.
The staff are ace.
Best wishes,
Springfield Healthcare.
I unhesitatingly recommend this care facility.
Best wishes,
Springfield Healthcare.
Dad always seemed clean and presentable when we visited, and his meal options were superb.
Staff were always there to address any concerns or answer questions and were very nice, caring people.
The home has activities for residents and social events.
The rooms are comfortable and clean.
On occasions when Dad had medical issues, medical staff were always called in, and Dad's best interests were always prioritised. This included ordering him a special chair when he had mobility issues.
Towards the end, during Dad's final hours, the staff here were absolutely fantastic, bringing in drinks and snacks for the family sitting at his bedside and constantly making sure he was as comfortable as possible. They helped us get through the worst few hours of my life, and I will always be grateful.
Staff sat with us, held hands with us, even she'd tears with us as though Dad was one of their own. It was quite unbelievable to see. Thank you.
Best wishes,
Springfield Healthcare

Meet the Team (1)

I’m a registered general nurse with a Level 5 Diploma in Management, and I’ve spent my career focused on delivering the highest standard of care. Before joining Seacroft Green, I worked as a Home Manager, leading teams and supporting residents to live fulfilled, comfortable lives.
As a manager, patience and understanding are essential – not only for meeting the needs of residents and their families but also for supporting staff to do their best work. I always aim to listen, problem-solve and create an environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
One of my biggest career highlights was managing a home in Bradford and helping it to achieve a ‘Good’ CQC rating, as well as Gold Standards Framework accreditation. It was a proud moment and a real team achievement.
My favourite part of the day is my walkarounds with my dogs, Dexter and Rio. They’re much loved by residents, and it’s wonderful to see how much joy they bring – they never fail to brighten everyone’s day.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing badminton, taking long walks with Dexter and Rio, and going out for a nice meal with friends and family.
