My aunt has just moved into Sid Bailey and was greeted by friendly staff. Prior to moving in, both my aunt and I were given a warm welcome and shown around this wonderful care home. My aunt was given the option of rooms. She is so happy with her new apartment. All the staff have been so helpful. I know
my aunt will be well cared for and supported to keep her independent as much as possible.

One of my friend's father has just had two weeks respite stay at Sid Bailey Care Home. He has had a fantastic time. So much so has booked to return in June. I had visited many times with my friend to see his father. There are very superb, neat and clean rooms with a high standard of living, the dining
hall, a small library, a cinema etc., The staff have been superb and available as soon as the bell rang; they provided an excellent environment for their guests, like a family gathering in a home. The food was excellent. All staff were very caring and friendly.
Would highly recommend Sid Bailey Care Home.

Victoria Alder

Job Title: Care Home Manager Joined: 2024

Victoria began her career in the care sector while working in a care home kitchen during evenings after college. Despite pursuing a law degree at the University of Derby, her passion for making a difference in people's lives led her back to care, progressing from Care Assistant to Senior Care Assistant. In 2016, she trained as a Care Home Assistant Practitioner, working alongside nurses and earning a nomination for an award. After five years as a Clinical/Care Auditor, Victoria secured her first Registered Manager position. Drawn by the values and high standards at Danforth, she became the General Manager of Sid Bailey, where she strives to create a home-away-from-home experience for residents.

Andrea

Andrea Cavanagh

Job Title: Front of House Manager Joined: 2023

Andreas’ career started with South Yorkshire Police as a Criminal Investigation Clerk and then moved into retail, working for well-known high street retailers, Debenhams and House of Fraser.
After 20 years in retail, she moved into Recruitment and Training and became an NVQ Assessor.
In her last role she started as a receptionist and then moved into a Head Housekeeper position.
Through the years she has equipped herself with various skills to progress in her career.
Andrea has one daughter and two grandchildren and enjoys a range of sports such as watching football and darts. She has a passion for crown green bowls and has previously played in a women’s crown green bowling team.
She is excited to be working for Danforth Care Homes and looks forward to the opening of the Sid Bailey Care Home.
