Sherwood House is a 32 bed care home specialising in caring for those with a range of Dementia. The home has been furnished to a high standard to create an environment which is bright, warm and welcoming and gives plenty of space for residents to safely explore their surroundings. Families and friends can visit at any time in a safe and comfortable home.

It's with the deepest sadness that we said goodbye to our mum last week. I couldn't have wished for such a special place for her to have spent the last short weeks of her life, and it was a joy to actually see her start to live again.
We would like to thank all the staff from the bottom of our hearts
for the time, patience and wonderful care you took of Mum.

My father is a resident at Sherwood House. The staff are very dedicated to their work and show a lot of compassion, empathy, and kindness to all the residents.
They do a lot of different activities, which helps keep all the residents engaged and share pictures of what they have been doing on a daily
basis, which is fantastic for families to see. The food always looks very nice, and the birthday cakes are fantastic. I would recommend anyone looking for a care home to consider Sherwood House.

Sherwood House has exceeded my expectations of a care home. My mum always said she never wanted to go into a home, but she settled very quickly here due to the caring staff and excellent facilities. I live in Australia but was in the UK to see Mum and see her move into Sherwood House in September 2022.
I now see more of my mum than I did before through the many photos and videos on the Whatsapp family group. The food looks absolutely wonderful. My mum's GP is very happy with the care they give at Sherwood House. The staff are always happy and engage with the residents in different activities, from pet therapy to pumpkin carving for Halloween!

Sherwood is an amazing residential home. My grandad is so very well looked after here. The carers and managers are so lovely and thoughtful and are always keeping the family in the loop via our family WhatsApp group. I couldn’t recommend Sherwood House enough.

Lovely visit as always. The staff member who greeted me at the front door was pleasant and helpful; she offered me a cup of tea or coffee then showed me to the lounge area. Another staff member helped to get my mother to her room, which was clean, tidy and homely. All staff members were helpful and
caring towards my mother. I am always impressed with the activities undertaken with the resident at the home. I could not be more pleased with the care given by the staff at Sherwood House. I am grateful that my mother is being so well looked after.

My brother came to this amazing care home 2-years ago. Just recently, our mother has been diagnosed with vascular dementia, and this is the home we wanted her to go to. We've had constant updates from the staff regarding our mother's placement. On Tuesday the 1st of March we got the news we've all been
waiting for that our mother has got her placement at this wonderful, welcoming home. The staff always go above and beyond for our mother and the visitors that go there. We cannot thank them enough for helping with the process of getting her into their care.

Mum moved into Sherwood House last November. I don't live in the UK, therefore, I only had photos of the home to view... which all looked very good. I had the pleasure of visiting Mum and joining her for lunch just recently, and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and standard of the home, and
of her own room. The staff are just amazingly kind and caring; it's also obvious that a great deal of thought goes into the residents' daily lives to occupy and make life interesting, with a wide range of activities to suit everyone. My lunch with Mum didn't disappoint either... beautifully cooked and presented.
With the help of the staff, I'm able to video call Mum, so I can "see" how she is, for me, that is so important... and she does look so well and happy. Also, with the photos and videos that the home shares, showing activities with all the happy faces of the residents speaks for itself.
An excellent, caring home, with an extremely high standard of cleanliness.

My mother-in-law moved into Sherwood in Oct 2021. From day one, she has been safe and cared for. The staff at Sherwood House are all kind, professional and respectful to all residents and their guests. The food is delicious and plentiful, and my mother-in-law definitely enjoys every mealtime, often
trying and enjoying new foods. The activities are varied and engaging, I can often see my mother-in-law joining in from the photos and videos posted on the WhatsApp group. The WhatsApp group really helps to keep my family connected. In summary, my mother-in-law is very happy there. We know she’s safe and happy, therefore, I would wholeheartedly recommend Sherwood to anyone considering residential care. Thank you to the staff, thank you for caring.

I am so impressed with the outstanding care that is provided. The daily activities, fantastic food and genuine kindness and warmth that is provided on a daily basis. Nothing is too much, and the resident's needs are always 100% placed first. I love seeing how involved the residents are, especially seeing

Excellent care and attention at all times, fantastic food. Residents are kept engaged in activities as much as they want to, and all seem to enjoy the varied activities and interaction with each other and staff.
My uncle has only been there 3-weeks, but the difference in him is already evident. He
is eating more, and his mobility, although not great, is better than it was.

Whilst visiting my dad, I noticed that the care home has two ladies who do activities with the residents. They were having so much fun, and I played a few games of dominoes with my dad. All staff and residents interact so well, and I have got to know most of them. For me, the care and love shown in
