Since Mum has been here, we have been so much more at ease, her care and needs are always met and carers are always lovely and friendly. Highly recommend.

The team at The Meadows cared for my father and stepmother for 30 months. I cannot fault their kindness and attentiveness. Both were approaching end of life, both increasingly impacted by dementia, but their needs were met with unfailing consideration and patience. The facilities are outstanding - they had a comfortable flat which we were able to make their own. I would strongly recommend The Meadows to anyone.

On behalf of our family, I wish to convey, a big thank you to them all.

My wife and I moved into The Meadows at the end of August 2023. The management and staff are extremely kind and helpful whilst still respecting one's independence. Saying this, we found it reassuring that help is always on hand 24 hours per day 7 days a week. Our flat is remarkably spacious and works very well for us. Each flat has a balcony and the gardens are very pleasant. You also have the choice of cooking lunch for yourself or eating in the restaurant. Buses are within a few hundred yards and car parking is available.

Staff are very helpful, polite and considerate. Plenty of activities and facilities.

We are so very pleased with the positive changes that have occurred with my mother even though she as only been at The Meadows for 3 weeks. For the previous six months, she hardly got out of bed and although carers visited daily her eating habits were bot good and all meals were eaten in bed. Since arriving at The Meadows, she gets up each day for breakfast, eats lunch in the restaurant and is happier than we have seen her in a long time. Caring is excellent and her medication review has proved positive. Thank you.

Both staff and carers have been found to be friendly, efficient and understanding. Extremely happy with my mom's safety. Lovely little department. I can rest easy knowing that she has the help and care she needs 24/7.

Our family was so lucky that Dad was able to move to The Meadows Care Home when he couldn't manage to live alone any longer. His flat was perfect for him and the facilities, activities, food and safety were fantastic. Each member of staff was always caring, polite and knew Dad and us well. Dad was very well cared for during his two-year stay and we would thank everyone for keeping him safe and extremely supported and supporting us too.

Dad has been at The Meadows for approximately 2 years. Since he moved in the staff have been really supportive and caring, supporting Dad with his needs. Sometimes going above and beyond. The environment is of a very high standard and the facilities are excellent. Due to his needs Dad has now moved to a new location, but he'd like to say thank you to everyone at The Meadows for making him feel at home.

Only resident for ten months, own rented flat. First flat of my own after residential care closed. Taking time to acclimatise but so far so good.

Excellent three month placement due to renovations. Thank you all! Staff so welcoming and accommodating. We loved the bright accommodation and well equipped facilities. Thank you for making us so welcome at special activities over the festive period. A very caring and well run facility with service users needs very much taken into account.

Since I've been here, I've felt very safe and secure. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I'm not so anxious anymore.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant - that is all I can say.

In June 2019 my mum suffered a brain aneurysm. After months in hospital, Mum was housed at The Meadows, moving there in January 2020. In the two and a bit years since, Mum has received faultless care (including through the pandemic) and has been encouraged and assisted in her recovery. Her hard work and the support of all at The Meadows meant she was deemed not to need 24-hour care now and has recently moved into her own home once again. This would not have happened without the care, compassion and friendship of everyone at The Meadows. The accommodation there is spacious and modern and Mum was always comfortable and happy there. We cannot recommend The Meadows enough and from my experience, anyone looking for housing with care will be well looked after if their journey takes them here.

My mum moved in three weeks ago. She has been diagnosed with dementia and we were expecting her to be disorientated and have some confusion for the first month. However, the kindness shown by the staff has been exemplary and she has settled as if she has always been here. Thank you to everyone for making the transition so seamless.

I was most impressed and grateful for the way I was helped, when I needed it. I did not expect the ladies to help as much as they did. I was surprised and did not expect that they would do it. Please - more carers like these.

The staff are very helpful and caring, well managed and clean environment. While the move into assisted living is a big change, the support and care to support this has been amazing.

The patience, understanding and care provided by all staff here are second to none. Mum was very well cared for here by friendly staff who take time to get to know the whole family. The end-of-life care my mum received was incredible. Would thoroughly recommend The Meadows to anyone. Well done to a fabulous team!

In 2016 The Meadows offered me a home when I was in a very dark place indeed. I owe NorseCare and Saffron Housing a huge debt of gratitude. They gave me a new lease of life, a secure home in which to recover my physical and mental strength - transforming my quality of life. 'Independent living in housing with care' is still 'a work in progress'. So am I. This is my first experience of 'communal living' and of 'care'. I adjusted slowly to this novel environment, the staff and management helped me to do so. I hosted VIPs when they toured the 'scheme' in 2016/2017. I quoted them extracts from an article about The Meadows which struck chords with my own personal experience here: any fool can rustle up money and put a building up: that's the easy bit: the hard bit is delivering quality care, a complex and nuanced skill. Getting the care right the training right the culture right. In the care profession, there are those who 'get it' and those who don't. Here 'they get it'. They have my back.
