Loveday Belgravia proudly hosted the national launch of Care Home Open Week 2025, welcoming over 100 industry professionals, sector champions, and political leaders for an inspiring celebration of social care.
The event marked the culmination of the Great British Care Cycle Relay, a 500km journey from Edinburgh, celebrating care homes across the UK. Riders crossed the finish line to a warm reception from the Loveday team and guests.
Sian Hammer, Managing Director of Loveday delivered an inspirational speech, commending the care sector for their transformational work. She also paid tribute to the cyclists, whose commitment and achievement reflected the strength and unity in care. MP Josh Fenton-Glynn, a dedicated supporter of social care, gave a moving speech recognising its importance alongside the NHS and reaffirmed his commitment to the sector.
With over 4,000 care homes participating in this year’s campaign, Care Home Open Week continues to celebrate the extraordinary work being done every day across the social care landscape.
