Brampton View recieves ‘Good' Rating and Looks Forward to a New era

Brampton View passed a recent Care Quality Commission inspection with an overall “Good” rating after being praised for a responsive, safe, effective, caring and well-led service.

The CQC inspected the home on 2nd December 2025 the report was released on 13th February 2026 and rated the home, run by Barchester Healthcare, as “Good” overall.

The report stated that, “Brampton View Care Home provided safe, compassionate care by trained staff and committed leadership. There was a strong focus on safety. Staff promoted people’s safety and were understood their responsibilities in relation recognising and reporting safeguarding concerns. Systems for investigating and responding to accidents, incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns had been strengthened. A positive culture and responsive approach to continuous learning were promoted across the service and supporting staff to embed good practice.”

The report went on to say “People received a consistently good standard of care. People and their relatives told us they felt safe with the staff who supported them and described the service as reliable, caring and respectful.”

Also highlighted in the report was “Care was person-centred, and people were involved in decisions about their care. People were supported to live healthier lives including meeting people’s dietary needs. Management and staff supported people to maintain their health and wellbeing and provided clear information in accessible formats. Staff listened to people and acted promptly to their questions or concerns.”

In celebration of the rating and to thank each member of the team for their contributions to the home, each team member was presented with £100 gift voucher in appreciation of their hard work.
