Bush Tucker Trial adventures at Woodstock Care Home

We kicked off our Nellsar Cruise to Australia in true style at lunchtime, enjoying a delicious themed menu here at our Care Home in Sittingbourne. Our residents tucked into tasty chicken skewers and 'snags', followed by a delightful Eton mess for dessert.

To celebrate 'Down Under', we recreated a version of the famous Bush Tucker Trial from 'I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' By setting up three mystery 'creepy boxes', each filled with a mixture of bugs, spaghetti, cobwebs and jelly. Our residents had to reach inside without knowing what they might find — but the real surprise came when someone gave their hands a playful grab from inside the box!

With hidden compartments at the back adding to the suspense, there were plenty of jumps, giggles and brave moments throughout the afternoon. The game brought lots of laughter and a wonderful sense of adventure as residents faced their fears.
