My aunt was a resident at Spring Grove from 2021 until her death in March 26 and I visited her almost every week over that period. Without exception I found the Spring Grove team to be caring, patient, accommodating to each resident's needs and fundamentally my aunt was happy to be there. The facilities
are good, very clean and always kept at a comfortable temperature. The home gets regular investment to maintain and improve the facilities. The team are very stable with many working there for years. This consistency and familiarity is of tremendous value. It enables bonds to form between the residents and the care team which in itself fosters a more friendly and caring environment.

Overall, I think Spring Lane is an excellent care home. The staff are friendly and caring and the management are professional and responsive. I would like there to be more continuity of personnel regarding the activities. There used to be one person doing most of it who my mother liked. Now there are
many more different people some of whom are very good but better continuity would be preferable.

I and my husband visited á very dear old friend many times. We felt such a homely atmosphere at the home. The staff were all very friendly to us and extrêmement kind, thoughtful, available and friendly to our friend and to everyone. The activities were very good and the patients usually enjoyed them.
The food was good. We were even offered tea most of the time. All in all patients are very well taken care off. Thank you very much to the whole staff.

My mother has received wonderful care at Spring Lane since she arrived in 2014. This has always been tailored brilliantly to her needs as her dementia has progressed and her physical capabilities have decreased. The home is very well managed and the staff are knowledgeable, warm, friendly and responsive.
The recent refurbishment was challenging at times, but has improved the quality of the environment. I always recommend Spring Lane to people in our area.

My mother, 96 years old, initially moved to Spring Lane Muswell Hill for temporary 2 week respite break in November 2024. She was unhappy and lonely in her own home, and the council care package was adequate at best.

Her physical and mental demeanour immediately improved in the company of other people.

The staff are friendly, approachable and caring. There are plenty of sociable activities. Mum enjoys the food, comprising three meals per day and frequent cups of tea.

The premises have been refurbished. It is a warm, comfortable and safe haven for the residents. Mum's room is clean tidy and perfectly adequate for her reduced needs. Visiting is positively encouraged.

I have met the owners June and Stacey who, refreshingly, are involved in the day to day running and planning of the home.

So far, this has been a very positive experience not only for my mother, but also for my brother and I whose care responsibilites have now been taken on by Spring Lane in such good fashion. Thank you

My stepmother has been in Spring Lane since the beginning of 2025. We have found the care excellent and her health has improved. The staff are very kind and one of the best things is the consistency of the care, where individual members of staff have become familiar and have had time to get to know
her personally.

There is a positive and friendly atmosphere at Spring Grove and the management and staff are welcoming and and caring. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated and in the newly refurbished floor of the building. The food and snacks were all good and the sherry before the meal was a nice touch. The
sense of company at the home is a real positive with a variety of other residents to talk to. The entertainment that was provided was also varied and enjoyable.

Spring Grove is a great place for post-operative, respite care.. The overall impression is of a friendly, caring atmosphere with a Team who are proactive and thoughtful in responding to each resident's needs
The public rooms are light and bright , the meals and snacks freshly prepared and there is
a good range of activities and entertainment. Everyone made sure I was comfortable, my medicine plan was managed well and my visitors were welcomed.

The management and staff are welcoming, friendly and caring to residents and visitors. The home is comfortable, well furnished and decorated. The service of snacks and drinks between meals is good and generous. The food at meals is good quality, good choice, well cooked and just fails sometimes on delivery
from kitchen to table e.g. soggy chips. The medical support is very good - doctors, nurses etc. The entertainment is varied and enjoyable.

My mother spent the last fifteen months of her life at Spring Grove, and I am extremely grateful to the carers and everyone involved in running the home for what turned out to be a genuinely happy time for her. She wasn't keen on moving there. She had lived independently at home until she was 93, but
following a fall she reluctantly agreed to move to a home. She discovered she really liked it. She was no longer anxious about managing on her own and was able to relax and enjoy the last part of her life. She was extremely well cared for, in terms of health, personal care, and nutrition. But more than that, for at least a year was able to join in the daily activities which brought her fun and stimulation. She developed excellent relationships with her carers and blossomed in a way that I would not have thought possible.
When her health failed in the final weeks of her life the staff bent over backwards to allow us to spend our last time with her. A truly exceptional Care Home.

Our mother spent the last fifteen months of her life in Spring Grove and we couldn't have been happier with the way she was cared for - as an individual. At the end when she was failing all the staff went out of their way to make things easier for us. Saying goodbye to them after she had left us really
felt like saying goodbye to friends. I'll miss them.
When we first started looking for a place for her we visited several homes and Spring Grove really stood out from the rest. You won't find residents staring vacantly at the TV for hours. For those who want to join in activities, there is plenty of variety. There's news, art projects, exercise classes - my mum was amazingly good (for a 94-year-old) at keeping a ball in the air and loved boxing (imaginary opponents)!
Both care staff and admin staff are great at interacting with the residents which is so important for making it feel like a real home. If staying in the family home is no longer an option, you can't do better than Spring Grove.
