My wife is extremely well looked after by delightful staff. Some aspects of her room could be better but the current refurbishment will probably improve when completed.

I and my husband visited รก very dear old friend many times. We felt such a homely atmosphere at the home. The staff were all very friendly to us and extrรชmement kind, thoughtful, available and friendly to our friend and to everyone. The activities were very good and the patients usually enjoyed them.
The food was good. We were even offered tea most of the time. All in all patients are very well taken care off. Thank you very much to the whole staff.

My mother has received wonderful care at Spring Lane since she arrived in 2014. This has always been tailored brilliantly to her needs as her dementia has progressed and her physical capabilities have decreased. The home is very well managed and the staff are knowledgeable, warm, friendly and responsive.
The recent refurbishment was challenging at times, but has improved the quality of the environment. I always recommend Spring Lane to people in our area.

My mother, 96 years old, initially moved to Spring Lane Muswell Hill for temporary 2 week respite break in November 2024. She was unhappy and lonely in her own home, and the council care package was adequate at best.
Her physical and mental demeanour immediately improved in the company of other people.
The staff are friendly, approachable and caring. There are plenty of sociable activities. Mum enjoys the food, comprising three meals per day and frequent cups of tea.
The premises have been refurbished. It is a warm, comfortable and safe haven for the residents. Mum's room is clean tidy and perfectly adequate for her reduced needs. Visiting is positively encouraged.
I have met the owners June and Stacey who, refreshingly, are involved in the day to day running and planning of the home.
So far, this has been a very positive experience not only for my mother, but also for my brother and I whose care responsibilites have now been taken on by Spring Lane in such good fashion. Thank you

The care home is lovley, it has just been renovated. Tje managment and carers go out of their way to provide care for your loved ones.
They keep an eye on their feeding.
I would recommend this home to anyone as it is clean and tidy.
Thank you
Best wishes

My stepmother has been in Spring Lane since the beginning of 2025. We have found the care excellent and her health has improved. The staff are very kind and one of the best things is the consistency of the care, where individual members of staff have become familiar and have had time to get to know
her personally.

There is a positive and friendly atmosphere at Spring Grove and the management and staff are welcoming and and caring. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated and in the newly refurbished floor of the building. The food and snacks were all good and the sherry before the meal was a nice touch. The
sense of company at the home is a real positive with a variety of other residents to talk to. The entertainment that was provided was also varied and enjoyable.

Spring Grove is a great place for post-operative, respite care.. The overall impression is of a friendly, caring atmosphere with a Team who are proactive and thoughtful in responding to each resident's needs
The public rooms are light and bright , the meals and snacks freshly prepared and there is
a good range of activities and entertainment. Everyone made sure I was comfortable, my medicine plan was managed well and my visitors were welcomed.

The management and staff are welcoming, friendly and caring to residents and visitors. The home is comfortable, well furnished and decorated. The service of snacks and drinks between meals is good and generous. The food at meals is good quality, good choice, well cooked and just fails sometimes on delivery
from kitchen to table e.g. soggy chips. The medical support is very good - doctors, nurses etc. The entertainment is varied and enjoyable.

Absolutely amazing VE day "street party" afternoon tea celebration. All staff went above and beyond to make this a memorable celebration for the residents alongside total respect for the residents.....listening to their stories and memories and making it a joyous occasion. Family and friends were
welcomed and the tea was fabulous.

I stayed 3 weeks of respite care.
We had a friend who was 10 years in Spring Lane and as we visited regularly, the staff remembered us. They made me very welcome.

My mother spent the last fifteen months of her life at Spring Grove, and I am extremely grateful to the carers and everyone involved in running the home for what turned out to be a genuinely happy time for her. She wasn't keen on moving there. She had lived independently at home until she was 93, but
following a fall she reluctantly agreed to move to a home. She discovered she really liked it. She was no longer anxious about managing on her own and was able to relax and enjoy the last part of her life. She was extremely well cared for, in terms of health, personal care, and nutrition. But more than that, for at least a year was able to join in the daily activities which brought her fun and stimulation. She developed excellent relationships with her carers and blossomed in a way that I would not have thought possible.
When her health failed in the final weeks of her life the staff bent over backwards to allow us to spend our last time with her. A truly exceptional Care Home.

Our mother spent the last fifteen months of her life in Spring Grove and we couldn't have been happier with the way she was cared for - as an individual. At the end when she was failing all the staff went out of their way to make things easier for us. Saying goodbye to them after she had left us really
felt like saying goodbye to friends. I'll miss them.
When we first started looking for a place for her we visited several homes and Spring Grove really stood out from the rest. You won't find residents staring vacantly at the TV for hours. For those who want to join in activities, there is plenty of variety. There's news, art projects, exercise classes - my mum was amazingly good (for a 94-year-old) at keeping a ball in the air and loved boxing (imaginary opponents)!
Both care staff and admin staff are great at interacting with the residents which is so important for making it feel like a real home. If staying in the family home is no longer an option, you can't do better than Spring Grove.

Mum lived at Spring Grove for about 9 months before she passed away and I am extremely grateful for the care she received. Spring Grove was recommended by Mum's GP and, whilst it may not be the shiniest care home compared to others, it is incredibly well run and the care Mum received was amazing. The
staff are deeply committed, kind, hard-working, understanding, and compassionate and they work together as a team and communicate well with each other. Mum's key worker was lovely and the staff are completely consistent e.g. we never saw agency staff, which means they really got to know Mum and her family. Family and friends who visited Mum consistently commented on the kindness and care they observed. Communication with our family was excellent, and we were incredibly touched that two members of staff very kindly came to Mum's funeral. We are hugely grateful to everyone at Spring Grove for their care and kindness and recommend Spring Grove without hesitation.

My mother was fortunate enough to be cared for at Spring Grove from early 2024 until her death, peacefully, in November 2024. We looked at many homes - with some trepidation (because it is so hard to evaluate a home - to make a decision based on wallpaper, room views, etc when all that you really
want to find out is whether kindness is on offer). I cannot speak highly enough of the staff - their endless patience (coaxing her to eat or drink when Alzheimer's had destroyed the interest in either), hard work and compassion. Despite shyness, she was gently persuaded (other than when it was beyond her) to join other residents for activities (rather than retreat to her room) and it clearly did her good. The staff gained her trust and affection (no mean feat, when any zest for life has drained away and their job was to sustain her nonetheless). She, and the family, are tremendously grateful - and, should the time come, I can only hope I will be looked after half as well.
