Every time I visit my mother I am struck by how welcoming and ready to smile everyone is. It sounds simple but it
couldn't be such a constant without the genuine ethos of loving kindness which underpins interactions, decisions and all aspects of care.

At the weekend I was at Beechmore'a Summer Fair. The effort and planning which must have gone into into making it fun for all was evident everywhere and the commitment of staff and trustees also clear to see. The activities team are dedicated to bringing joy, both with the daily activities and special events such as this one - and this, coupled with with the thoughtfulness of the staff, makes every day as positive as it can be.

While visiting Beechmore Court I have been extremely pleased with the way the staff go out of their way to be caring, kind and enthusiastic while helping the residents enjoy their day. It is a delight to see the way staff continually engage with the residents. Each time I have visited there have been activities and social events that my dad is taking part in and enjoying. This is just what he needed. Beechmore Court has a very welcoming atmosphere for all visitors at an emotional time, this is very much appreciated.

Following the sudden passing of our dad, we needed to find suitable residential care for our mum and Beechmore Court were so very accommodating and welcoming, taking her at very short notice. Despite mum's grief and consequential deterioration in her behaviour due to her advance mixed dementia, the staff have done their utmost to make her feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. They have shown kindness, friendliness, patience, understanding and a willingness to do whatever it takes to make her feel settled and well cared for. At a very difficult time for our family, the staff at Beechmore Court have been just wonderful. The food and activities are all lovely, the garden a tranquil space to enjoy the sunshine and birds singing and there are areas where we can be with mum as a family, if needed, such as the conservatory. For us, though, the best aspect is the Christian ethos which permeates the whole home and mum enjoys the regular 'services' and Communion.

We recently moved my mother into Beechmore Court after she was no longer able to live independently in her home. Beechmore Court was extremely responsive to our inquiry and planning the whole process with us.As we do not live in the area we had to move my mother in very quickly, with very little notice in a short period of time. Beechmore Court was able to change her move-in date at our request without any issues, the staff was very accommodating, the accommodations are top-notch, and my mother was thrilled to move in. Since she's been in Beechmore Court, we have received updates on how she's doing and she continues to enjoy it very much. We could not be happier.

I am happy with the service and care my mother is receiving.
The home provides a warm welcome, and a homely atmosphere.
If we request, for the family to celebrate in private, an area is readily made available for our use.
The staff always updates me with any concerns that they might have, regarding my mother's welfare.
All the staff show care and compassion, when situations become difficult, and never lose patients.

We are satisfied and happy for Mum to remain in your care.

My mother has been a resident in Beechmore Court for 16 months. Since she arrived (with a very warm welcome) she has been extremely well cared for. All of the staff at Beechmore are kind, caring and attentive, not only to mum but to all residents.
The activity team do a fantastic job in keeping the residents engaged with a huge variety of games and activities, I especially like the social events as it gives our family the chance to join in and meet other residents and their families.

I couldn't wish for a nicer environment for mum to live in and be cared for. Many thanks to Jacky and her excellent team.

Review of Beechmore Court from C M (Brother of Resident) published on 23 September 2025 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

This home is outstanding in all respects. It is run by a Christian charity in a professional, business-like manner but not commercial. It is obvious that care of residents is its principle aim. My brother's short term residence was unusual as it was for rehabilitation and assessment following a stroke. The manager courageously regarded this as a worthwhile challenge and she and all her staff responded magnificently. They have embraced the home's aims of care through consideration, kindness and respect. Individual staff excelled in their empathy for my brother giving considerable amount of time listening and adapting to suit what was required at the time. Rehabilitation was helped by many acts of kindness eg. taking him for a walk to the not-so-local shops to build confidence in going outside. The atmosphere is welcoming and accommodating for visitors.

Beechmore Court has been the most comfortable home we could have wished to find for my dear aunt, for the last three and a half years. She has been looked after beautifully for all this time. It has always been a warm, welcoming home with a lovely caring and reassuring atmosphere. The staff have been kind and proficient, giving their care with love and confidence and adapting without any fuss as needs have changed.
Communicating with her had become more challenging as her sight and hearing deteriorated but they found ways to manage it.
The staff look happy to be doing their important and demanding work, noticing and willingly doing that little bit extra for the resident and the visitor.
Communication between the home and relatives has always been excellent.
The activity programme is varied and designed to be able to include everyone who wishes to join in, residents and visitors alike.

My aunt has been settled and content here. I am very glad that we found this lovely place for her

I spend the last night of my father-in-law's life at the care home this week. Everyone from the carers to site staff and absolutely everyone were very kind, caring and compassionate towards him at the end of his life. The care they gave to my father in law was first class and although he had been in the home only for a short time, they all knew him and were clearly interested in him as a person. The staff were so caring at all times. 5 days before he passed away, he was doing karaoke at the Easter party having a great time. We were given lovely pictures from that event and we will treasure them forever. The way the staff related to me was lovely and they went above and beyond to ensure I was looked after too. When my father in law died, everyone went above and beyone to care for us and they were very compassionate, caring and considerate and treated my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and I with utmost love, respect and care. We are so grateful my father in law got to spend his last 3 weeks in this beautiful home.

Mum is a permanent resident at the Beechmore Court for almost a year now. Everyone was so caring, understanding, and welcoming from day one, when mum began her stay and when we as a family were trying to adjust to mum's, and the family's, new situation. Staff and management have consistently given a high level of care, attention and compassion to mum and her challenges. They have taken care of her with patience, understanding and genuine concern for her health, welfare and wellbeing. They ensure they keep us updated on everything relevant about mum. Family are welcome to events/activities and we have attended a number of them and had lots of good times with mum, even though she might not fully realise who we are. There are activities every day for her to participate in and they really care about providing stimulating and enjoyable moments for residents. There is genuine kindness shown, and our family has peace of mind that mum is being well taken care of. That means so much to us.

A very friendly, pleasant and well-maintained home with excellent activities for residents and very helpful staff. My mother was a resident at Beechmore Court some years ago and my good friend is a resident at present, so my assessment is as an "outsider" but I have no hesitation in stating my observation as the ratings.

My mother arrived at Beechmore Court in December 2023.

Since then, my mum has gradually improved in health. She is walking better and mixing well with all the other residents. They have a very engaging programme for the residents to join in with. We, as a family, are very pleased with the way our mum is being cared for.

My mother required a short respite stay, following injury due to a fall.
The head of the home was very patient with us when making arrangements, as a lot of the first contacts were through email and phone, and we had a lot of questions to ask! Admin staff were also very quick to answer any of our queries and the overall admission process went smoothly.
All the staff gave a very warm welcome and created a cosy, friendly environment. Visits could be made (and were encouraged) at any time during the day, including young children. Within no time Mum felt relaxed and at home, and made friends with other residents. Food was very good (... even had a surprise birthday cake!)
A minor medical issue was dealt with immediately.

Although obviously happy to go back to her own home, she was sad to say goodbye to everyone at Beechmore Court.
