Staff are nice. manager is very nice and approachable and the fact that she took my mum in without any issue has changed my life. So thank you.

If you are looking for a care home with a gym and sauna, where your loved one is treated simply as a client, Robinhood House may not be for you.

What it offers is far more important. The wonderful team treat residents as individuals and as part of a family, always looking for different ways to help those living with dementia enjoy the best life possible.

My mum, Sheila, could become very stressed, so staff would find her favourite songs and sing and dance with her to calm and reassure her. When she struggled to eat or sleep, they tried different foods and would prepare meals at any hour.

Their care extended to our whole family. They supported us during visits and, on the day Mum passed away, they helped me when I felt completely lost and did not know what to do.

Robinhood House is a place of dignity, patience, kindness and genuine care. I will always be grateful for everything they did for Sheila and our family.

I would highly recommend Robin Hood House to anyone looking for wonderful facilities to look after their loved one in such a difficult time.

Our Dad has been a resident here for nearly 3 years and we couldn't be happier with his care. He is always clean and comfortable and spoken to with respect by the carers. We recommend Benslow to anyone and everyone who asks for our opinions.

Management and staff are very professional, caring, friendly who have made my wife stay with them as stress free as possible . They have been very supportive of my wife's needs and conditions. I have spoken to my wife about this review and we are both in agreement that the service they offer is first class , wouldn't hesitate to recommend them .

This was a magnificent find. Such a caring home from home. Residents given constant attention and staff attentive and very friendly. My husband had the best care anyone could have a Robin Hood House right through to the end.Staff new him, helped him with his dementia and showed real professionalism.

My father lived at Robin Hood House from June until he sadly passed away in November. The team there were amazing with him throughout. They gently encouraged him to eat and drink, often preparing his favourite foods and even making special chocolate milkshakes to tempt him. He was always kept clean, comfortable, and treated with dignity and genuine care right up to the very end. I couldn't have wished for better support for Dad, and I'm so grateful for the warmth and kindness shown to him and the wider family in such homely surroundings.

I have nothing but praise for Lorraine and her fabulous team of carers. My mum has been here since August 2025 and has been looked after in such a wonderful caring manner. All staff are professional yet very friendly, always happy and welcoming and treat every resident with such respect and care.

There's plenty for the residents to do

Excellent stay. Very well looked after & cared for. Nice to relax & to get well, all staff extremely great & treated me very well, great good & great room & I enjoyed my stay here. Highbury Rise is a lovely building, great garden outside. I believe it has done me really well to be able to rest, concerse & recover, I have never stayed at a rest home before. I would like to thank everyone here for their kindness & wonderful care.

Lovely to come & visit my friend, very welcoming. Helpful staff and a very good cuppa when we visit. Enjoy talking to the staff as well as residents very inclusive. Comfortable.

The atmosphere at Highbury Rise is calm, welcoming and inclusive. Residents are encouraged to take part in activities if they like but their wishes are respected if they'd prefer not to. A good place to be.

My father stayed at Highbury Rise for 5 weeks for some respite care after having a fall at home in January.

He is a shy man and decided not to leave his room but he was very comfortable there and having the ensuite room was extremely beneficial for him.

The care home were friendly and welcoming and I would like to thank them for looking after my father so well during his stay there.

We are very happy with Highbury Rise. It is a home from home where residents are treated with respect, care and compassion. Family members are included and welcomed.
