The staff put her at ease when shes anxious.

I am very happy with the way how mum (Krishna) is looked after at Cheriton Care Home. The staff are very polite, kind + compassionate + have helped mum settle in well.

Myself and family are very satisfied with the care my husband recieves. Everyone is very kind and caring and treats him in a very understanding and gentle way. We are very grateful and appreciative of all the things they do to look after him. A big thank you goes to every one.

We visited my mum on her 94th birthday at the Cheriton Care Home. The staff had made a wonderful effort to make her day special. Flowers, a celebratory lunch and bunting was the icing on the cake. All the staff were accommodating and warm with their help. It was a fantastic day, thank you.

The staff are very committed and do their very best to care for my brother with respect and sensitivity. This is not an easy job and your dedication is appreciated. The new manager is a great asset. I'm much happier knowing she is there. I am not happy about the outside area. There is no main carer, nor a nice area to sit.

My donor has Parkinson's and dementia and the staff were patient and kind at all times making sure I felt at ease when leaving her there or in-between visits. She has now been discharged following eight months of care.

Unfortunately, the loss of senior staff and carers has put a strain on those remaining who still give their best to those under their care.

My mother has been in Cheriton since September 2015 and she is extremely happy there and we are very happy with the care she receives. Staff go the extra mile to spend time talking with her and are always seeking ways to make her content. Over the last two years, they have done their best to help us keep in contact.

My mother loves where she is, she has dementia. The staff are all lovely, especially the staff that have been there a long time. Food is great and so is the chef. I do not find that the cleaning is good though. At present, the cleaner is on holiday so not much is being done as the job will have to be put on the other staff who are all overworked as it is. They do their best. I find that staffing is a problem as nobody, meaning the owners, will spend any money. If the present manager had left, I would have to move my mother and put her elsewhere!
