My mum has been a resident at Solent Cliffs for the past 3 years. During this time, the level of care, support and kindness has been amazing. The professionalism shown by everyone has been such a reassuring thing, and the smiles and engagement of the staff, each visit and on the phone so welcoming.
Mum recently passed away, and the kindness, advice, support and care shown was again above and beyond. We couldn't have asked for more from everyone at Solent Cliffs. Hayley and the team are the best, and we can't thank them enough.

Me and my family never expected to be writing another review 9 years after Mum first went to live at Solent Cliffs a very poorly lady , on discharge from hospital, to receive what the hospital described as end of life care. Her health conditions were stabilised by the care at Solent and in her first
years she was able to enjoy her new home and join in activities and the friendship of the nurses and carers. With age she now can not see or hear very well and has dementia which have all sadly deteriorated. It is hard for us all and her at times but the care she has, the dignity and the love showed to her through all stages of her progressive illnesses have never waivered,.hence a few weeks ago she reached 100 years old and despite no partying , she had a sleepy day, Solent made her day very special , her room sparkled just like the love and dedication of all..Thank you

My son was at Solent Cliffs for an assessment period and to receive nursing care. The home is very well managed with staff, who all care about the residents and cannot be faulted with the care they provide. There has always been a happy and welcoming atmosphere with a cheery smile and attention to detail.
The nursing staff were excellent, communication with other staff was prompt, especially with sharing updated information. The home was always clean and welcoming. Activities provided to engage and entertain the residents.

We have always found all staff to be very professional and extremely friendly.
The care of the staff and the activities arranged cannot be faulted. We were always welcomed and always met with a very 'homely' attitude and nothing was ever too much trouble. It is such a relief knowing mum is in a safe
place and very well cared for - thank you!!

I was told by a friend, when looking for a care home, not to look at the flash surroundings, or facilities, but to look to see if the staff are happy at work. And I would recommend this to anyone now.
The staff at my Dads' nursing home are amazing, they go beyond what is expected of them to look after
the residents. They truly do care. They know all the residents individually, knowing their likes and dislikes and notice if they are slightly off colour. They are also wonderfully friendly to their visiting relatives and friends.

At my Dads last care home I would constantly be worrying about him and I always seemed to have one issue or another with the care he was receiving, but here, I don't worry about his care, I know he is being well looked after. Its such a relief to know this. I can't recommend this home enough!

Reply from Hayley Kramm, Registered Manager at Solent Cliffs Nursing HomeThank you for your kind words. When supporting residents with person-centred care, it's often the small changes we notice that can make the biggest difference. A smile goes a long way.

What can I say, other than What a Fantastic Home!!! I cannot fault the care, support and genuine love shown to my family and my Dad (who loves his Salubrious Accommodation!.. His words)
It is a truly wonderful place to be. If dad has been ill ( which in nearly five years, is only twice) .. then all
the stops are pulled out, and the doc or emergency staff seem to turn up in minutes to help. On Both occasions the staff too, have been amazing in keeping me posted and in their fantastic care for Dad.
Entertainment is great too, always something happening and the residents are encouraged to join in, but free to make a choice.
I've already booked my room!!
A Mahooooosive thanks from me and Dad, to all the lovely staff and Management !!

After a terrible ordeal in hospital came to this nursing home. What an amazing place! Clean and tidy. Staff who are caring, committed and experienced in the care of the residents! Nothing is too much trouble, attended to 24/7. All of the staff are focused and work well as a team, which is good for me.
Lots of weekly activities, catering for all needs. Beautiful garden to sit in and chat to other residents. Food is excellent, chef will cook anything that you want. Well run by the manager.

During the ten weeks that my wife was in Beechwood Nursing Home, she was cared for with love, dignity and professionalism. The staff were not only caring towards my wife, but were concerned also for me and visiting friends and family, constantly offering tea, cake and kind words.
I must mention not
only the wonderful medical and admin staff, but also the amazing people running the kitchen and the cleaners.

My mother was transfered there for paliative care.
She was given a beautifully decorated room close to the nurses station. During her 2 months there she was cared for as though she was their own relative. Unable to speak, it was clear from her reaction to the staff entering the room that she had a
very close relationship with them.
As a relative they were absolutely wonderful to us during a very emotional period for us. They were supportive, kind and so understanding. Mum passed away there this week and they supported her and us every step of the way.
