Beechwood House Nursing Home

From our first visit where we were shown around to see what Beechwood had to offer we were very impressed. It felt right for Mum, we had viewed another place but didn't like the feel of it, so we were pleased with how this felt.

You cannot fault the staff they are all very caring and compassionate towards the residents, they treat everyone with kindness and empathy, be it residents or visitors. This includes every member of staff whatever their role is.

Unfortunately Mum was only there for 15 days and was unable to enjoy what was available to her. During that time she was very well cared for and so were we, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff

This has taken me some time to be able to sit down and reflect back on my Dad's time at Beechwood House, The care and compassion that was shown to my Dad was second to none. All staff was so supportive to my Dad and also very supportive to the rest of my family, Beechwood is kind, compassionate and attentive with person-centred care. The home is clean & fresh and very welcoming. Beechwood focuses on high quality clinical care in a warm environment and always focus on my Dads dignity and respect.

They have an excellent support system in place for her care and support, I cannot fault it.

My mother-in-law was only at Beechwood for a short time but during her time there she was treated with so much compassion and respect. All of the staff at Beechwood are amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble. There was always a kind word, a hug when needed and they helped us through a very difficult time when mum passed away.

My wife died in May but her passing was made infinitely easier for us by the advice and ministrations of the nurses and carers.

As a relative they were absolutely wonderful to us during a very emotional period for us. They were supportive, kind and so understanding. Mum passed away there this week and they supported her and us every step of the way.

Fantastic staff eager to help so caring and thoughtful, home very clean residents are so happy we'll looked after, beautiful garden, food is all home cooked and tastes wonderful , medical care is first rate

The staff could not have been more helpful or caring, they are all dedicated to the comfort and best quality care for all their patients. My experience from my husband's admission to his death could not have been made any easier. They are very friendly and always ready to explain or assist at every opportunity. I would recommend Beechwood House Nursing Home to anyone who needed a positive experience of a nursing home.

My stepfather has been in Beechwood since November 2023, the level of care has been outstanding. All staff work hard to ensure all needs are met. The home is spotlessly clean, food is excellent and varied. Entertainment is good, always something going on to keep the residents entertained. Laundry service is good. All staff are warm and welcoming every time I visit, anytime, day or night

A big thank you to all the staff at Beechwood. They looked after my grandmother for the last 4 months of her life and all the staff were kind, considerate, helpful, and absolute stars. Thank you for everything you did - it was very much appreciated.

Both of my parents are very happy at Beechwood House, Mum has been a resident for several months and Dad has arrived more recently. They were both made to feel welcome from the moment they arrived and settled in very quickly. The care they receive has never been short of exceptional. All of the staff are always so cheerful, considerate and caring; there is a real family vibe that makes it feel very homely. As visitors, we are greeted warmly at any time of day and we're kept up to date on Mum and Dads wellbeing. We always leave the home in good spirits, reassured that their individual needs are being well catered for.

There are no words to describe how thankful and grateful myself and my brother are to you all for the love, care, kindness, and respect that was shown to our dad. Our dad was only with you for a short while before he passed, but he was so very well cared for. Everyone at Beechwood House are truly amazing! Filled with love, kindness, respect and amazing care. Nothing is too much trouble, everyone goes above and beyond. We will never forget what you did for our dad and can never thank you enough!

The staff are friendly, residents seem happy most of the time.

My dad came to Beechwood House Nursing Home for the last few weeks of his life. The amazing staff throughout. Staff were there for his needs 24/7. Couldn't have wished for anything better for him. 100% in every way. They went above and beyond. Thanks ever so much everyone.

All staff are very kind and gentle to my husband and always polite to his family and make them welcome. He has only been with them a few months and instead of a very angry man, he is now back to his old self. I did not want to leave him in the first place but now we know we have done the right thing. I will say a very big thank you to all the staff for giving me back the gentle kind husband I did have.
